Sophia's Pov.
"So will you please take it?" Jacob asked more like beg and I sigh before looking into his gray eyes that were pleading me to take it.
"Jacob....."
"Please Sophia. You don't have a phone by the way. You should take it" he said while holding unto my hands and I let out another sigh before looking away.
After thinking for a few minutes, I've finally made a decision. "Fine.....I'll take it but you're not buying me any other stuff" I said and and instant smile was on his face.
"Thank you though" I said and found myself pecking his lips and he seem taking back by my sudden action as he now looked at me surprised but that was only for a few seconds because then, a smile brighter than the sun was curve on his lips.
"Do it again" he said while circling his hands around my waist and I frown at him.
"Do what?"
"What you just did" he responded still smiling and chuckled at him.
"You mean, kiss you again?" I asked and he nodded his head while I just chuckled at him but something popped up in my mind and I smirk at myself.
"How did i kiss you again? I forgot" I said before giving him a kiss on his forehead. "Like that?" I asked while raising my eyebrows and he pout at me before shaking his head no.
"Hmm.....like this?" I asked again while giving him a smack on his cheeks and he still pout at me before shaking his head no and I chuckled again.
"Then, is it like this?" I asked now kissing him on his lips and was about to pull away when he grabbed the back of my head and smashed his lips on mine. He gently ran his fingers though my hair while we both continue to kiss each other and I let out a satisfied moan.
I wrapped my hands around his neck as he sweetly kissed me and I could've felt a smile on his lips as he continued. The kiss lasted for almost a minute but we both pulled away after Marcus came in the living room and told Jacob someone was here to see him.
"I'll be back, okay?" Jacob said while cupping my face and I nodded before he kiss my forehead and I watched him get up and leave while Marcus stood next to me.

Jacob's Pov.
Sighing as I walked out of the living room, leaving Sophia behind, I walked to my office. I was upset! Why dose someone always interrupt Sophia and I when are kissing?
Entering my office, I let out another sigh when I saw my grandpa in there. "What do you want now?" I asked now making my way to my desk.
"How's you and Sophia getting along?" He asked now looking at me while I sat down and I looked back at him.
"We're getting along fine, I guess" I half lie and he nodded his head.
The truth was, we're getting along more than fine and I'm quite happy that she's opening up more to me and feels more comfortable around me.
"Oh because I can here today to let you and Sophia get a divorce" he said and I looked at him not believing what he had just said.
"What?"
"Well, since you hate her....I've finally decided that you should be happy with whosoever you love and I shouldn't force you to like someone you don't so, you can sign the divorce paper with her" he explained to me.
"No, you don't have to do that." I said looking him in the eyes and he raised both of his brows at me.
"Why? I thought you didn't like her" he said and I sigh now rubbing my temples.
".......fine. I lik---love her, okay? So we don't have to sign any divorce paper" I said back to him and saw a little smile playing on his lips.
"So....you've finally admitted it huh?" He laughed and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Yes, happy now?"
"Well I'm glad you love her. So...." He said smiling and looking at me as if he was waiting for me to say something and I looked at him confused.
"What?"
"My apology. Where's it?" He asked and I sigh again. Glaring at him who had a smirk on his lips, I hesitated a bit before I've finally decided to apologize.
"I.......I'm sorry, okay? I shouldn't have judge her and.....I should have listen to you. You were right, she's not what I though she was and I was......"
"Say it" he said and I sigh before continuing.
"I was....wrong" I finally said and heard him laugh.
"Good. " he responded and I got up to leave.
"Since that's what you've called me in here to ask, I'll be leaving no--"
"I'm quite not yet done" he cut me off and I let out a breath before sitting again. "Can you hurry up?" I asked him. I just wanted to go back to Sophia.
"Don't rush me son" he said to me before picking up his wine, that the was here, before I came in, and took a sip before he continued. "There's some business you have to take care of in Rome."
"Business? When?" I asked now a little confused of why am I hearing about this now.
"Tomorrow. You leave tomorrow. I'm sorry it's last moment but I haven't too long got the news and I came to your house right away to inform you" he said and I sigh.
"For how long?" I asked again now pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Just a few days, that's if everything goes well. If now, it might last for a week or more" he responded and I looked up at him before nodding my head then looking at the wall.
This means....I'll have to be away from Sophia for a few days or even weeks? I don't think I can do that.
"But.....since it won't be dangerous, you....can ask Sophia if she wants to go along with you" he said and I immediately looked back at him.
"Really?"
"That's if she wants to. If she don't, then you'll just have to go alone" he said and I nodded my head.
"Is there anything else you wanna talk about before I leave?" I asked him just hoping he'll say no.
"Well, I know you want to go back to your wife but we have to get your things ready for tomorrow....so, you're a busy man right now" he responded and I sigh again.
Then I'll have to see Sophia later...which I don't want.
"Okay, what do we start with?"

Sophia's Pov.
It was already eleven in the night and I've just finished dressing in my night wear, ready to sleep but my mind went back to Jacob.
Where is he?
I thought he said he'll be back, but he never came back. I hope he's fine.
Thoughts of him kept running through my head and I couldn't sleep, so I've decided that I'll wait up for him until he's back. Not caring how late it is.
Until he's back, I won't sleep!
So does this means....I'm worried about him?
Since when was I worried about him? Only a few weeks ago I was hurt by him and now I'm kissing him, being nice and worried about him? What the hell has gotten into me?!
Am I dreaming? This is so not me!! BUT, I couldn't help but kiss him, I couldn't help but be nice to him and I couldn't help but be worried about him.
His addicting lips, his sweet personality, his hot body, his cute smile, his handsome face, his hands that likes to roam all over my body and his gray eyes that always looks into mine.
All of this I liked about him but what I liked mostly was his caring side, his sweet side, his cute side and his passionate side, that always got me feeling hot and bothered. I like it! I like every part of him. From his body all the way up to his personality.
He was just perfect in every way
Yeah, I like it.
Wait.....did I say like?
So, does this means.....I LIKE HIM!!?
If you like everything about someone....does that means you like them? Well not always but I just have this feeling inside of me that I like him. Maybe I do.
Maybe, I really like Jacob after all...
But where in the WORLD is he right now?!!! I'm getting more worried by every passing minute.
Is he hurt? Has he been kidnap?
Or worst....
Dead?!
No! He can't be but if he is....what will happen to me? Who's gonna take care of me?
No, he can't be dead. He's a mafia leader for God's sake Sophia! He can fight back and might probably kill that someone who wants to kill him, even before the guys place a finger on him.
Why am my thought going that far by the way? He's maybe in a meeting, or at a restaurant eating, or out for a walk....or maybe....At the beach!!!
'What the hell? The beach? Really Sophia?' My conscious said.
I can't help thinking, okay? Who knows...he might be at the beach just walking all alone....sad.
'Okay, that's it. Sis gotta sleep' my conscious said again and I rolled my eyes.
I'm not sleeping until he's back, which tells me he's safe!
Floding my hands, I sat up from the bed and lay back on the bed frame while grabbing the remote to turn on the tv.
The should help distracting me from sleeping until he's here. But It didn't really help because my eyes closed ten minutes into the movie and I struggled to keep them open and success but not for long.
And just when I was about to fall asleep, the bedroom door opened and in came Jacob. "Jacob?" I called in a tired voice and he looked over to me.
"Sophia? Why aren't you sleeping as yet?" He asked as he was now making his way over to me.
"I....I'm waiting up for you" I responded while he sat beside me and cupped my cheeks.
"You shouldn't, it's late."
"Well I was...worried about you" I said back and a smile was now on his lips.
"Thank you for waiting for me but don't do it again, okay?" He said and I nodded my head.
"Let's go to bed now" he said before taking the remote and turning the TV off. Placing the remote down, he walked over to his side before laying in bed and pulling me to his chest.
"Where were you?" I found myself asking as I closed my eyes and rested my head on his chest.
"My grandfather wanted to see me. Sophia.........I'm leaving for Rome tomorrow" he suddenly said and I shot my eyes open now looking at him.
"Rome? For what?"
"I have some business to do down there" he responded and I responded with an 'oh'. So he's leaving?
"For how long?" I found myself asking again.
"A few days or maybe weeks if things don't go well" he responded to my question once more and I let out a sigh.
So, I'm not gonna see him for days, maybe weeks?
This is sad...
Really sad.
"But...." he continued and I stared back into his eyes as he looked into mine. "You can come along of you want"
"Really?!!!" I literally shouted as I shot my head up and was now in a sitting position.
"Yes cupcake" he said and chuckled at my reaction.
"So....do I have to pack my suitcase now? It's still not that late. I can do it before morning" I said and turned to get off of the bed but was held back by him.
"No....I'll let the maids do it. Just come and lay down. It's already late by the way. I don't want you getting dark circles and eyes bags the next morning. I'm sorry I didn't return earlier. I made you stay up so late and you'll have eye bags if you don't sleep now" he said but mumbled the last part and I lay down again before he pulled me into his chest.
"Good night Jacob" I said and kissed his cheeks earning a smile from him.
"Good night cupcake" he responded and I felt a kiss on my forehead before I was off to sleep with one though in my head.
