Darkness

How do you know?
What is it like?
.....
You know....,
When you have it, when it's in you,
You know, no doubt.
Feeling of emptiness,
Desperate..... for that one only breath,
That can't come soon enough,
Broken from the inside.
That the world turns,
Time passes without you taking noticed.
Sometimes a few weeks,
Sometimes a few months,
But sometimes it surprises even our self's.
How can time be so fast...
Yet be so slow.
All at the same time.
Wishing you were left alone,
And also,
Wishing you had someone close.
Find yourself in a house,
Can be alone, or full of people
When the darkness is alive,
You can't escape,
You can't run,
And can't hide.
It has you.
You fall, in this emptiness.
Losing a big part of yourself.
Losing in believing in yourself.
Knowing the things you could do perfectly once,
Now almost impossible.
You start believing,
In something bigger than yourself.
Hoping for help,
A light,
To show you the way.
And out of no where,
It's like coming back,
But coming back as one with your body.
Mind feels lost,
Trouble concentrating,
You have to trust yourself,
And that is hard and takes a lot,
Time,
Effort,
Dedication,
And knowing you can do it.
Once you're back up,
Enjoy while the sun is out,
Because one day,
Darkness will come back again.
The same as the moon returns.
