Klaus was in the woods, waiting for Caroline and when he saw her, he quickly smiled and walked over to her.
"Good evening, love. I have to admit that your call surprised me."
"I've been thinking and for my friends to be on your side, maybe I should give you a chance." Caroline smiled, then asked something that Mikael told her to ask him once she would be alone with Klaus. "Did you came alone?"
"Yes. I think for us to start over we needed to talk in private." Klaus said.
"That's so sweet..." Mikael said, getting out of the place he was hiding.
"Mikael..."
"Surprise."
"Caroline, you need to go. I can't let you get hurt." Klaus said. "This isn't safe."
"So foolish. You're sweet Caroline is with us." Mikael said.
"What?"
"No. She wouldn't be on your side."
"But I am."
"If you kill me, my siblings won't be able to forgive you and my mother will choose her children over you." Klaus said.
"Actually..." Mikael said and Esther appeared.
"No..."
"I'm sorry, son. But this curse I put on you was a mistake. I was so afraid of losing my children I went against the laws of nature. You weren't suppose to live for a thousand years." Esther said.
"Caroline won't help you. If you kill me, she and her friends die." Klaus said.
"It's a price I'm willingly to take." Caroline shrugged.
"Love, this isn't you. You aren't capable of doing such a thing."
"In fact she is. I made her vision you and she killed thousands of times. And now she wants to kill you for real." Mikael said and Klaus looked at Caroline who stayed with an emotionless face.
"There's no more white oak stakes. They are gone." Klaus said.
"In fact, I have one. I was going to use it to kill you. But Caroline made me see that the way you deserve to die is by the hands of the woman you fancy." Mikael said and gave Caroline the white oak stake.
"Love, you don't want to do this."
"But I do." Caroline said.
"It will be painful for you. I linked us." Klaus said.
"Really?" Mikael asked and took the stake from Caroline.
"What are you doing?" Esther asked.
"I thought it would be painful for him to die in the hands of the one he fancied but now that I know you two are linked, I have another idea." Mikael said and snapped Caroline's neck, making Klaus also get unconscious.
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to make him suffer."
"The plan was to kill him."
"And I will kill him. But not just yet." Mikael said. "Take Caroline to the car, while I take Niklaus."
Mikael and Esther took them to the car and drove to a place Mikael knew about. Once they got to the place, Esther followed Mikael to a room that was clearly meant for torture.
"Call Mr. Young. He needs to keep an eye out. Soon, they will be asking about Niklaus." Mikael said and Esther texted April's father, updating him on what was happening. "He was right about this place. It's perfect to punish Niklaus."

April got her bag and was about to leave, when suddenly she felt something on her neck and quickly she felt dizzy and passed out.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart. You should have listened to me when I told you to stay away from those creatures." April's father said to an unconscious April. "One of these days, you'll understand that I had to do this."
April's father took her to his car and drove them to a hiding spot, then tied her to a chair inside a cage. He grabbed her bag and looked what was in it, finding her phone, her wallet, a taser, a small gun, a wooden stake and a photo of April's mother.
He was impressed with her having a wooden stake and a gun in her bag but he knew just because she had these things, didn't meant she would be safe around vampires.
He took her phone, used her thumb to be able to unlock her phone and then he texted in a group conversation she had on WhatsApp that was her with the Salvatore brothers, the Mikaelsons, Elena Gilbert and Bonnie Bennett.
'I have April Young. If you don't appear, I'll start to hurt her and I'll record her screams.'
Quickly he saw Kol Mikaelson calling to April.
"Who the bloody hell do you think you are? Where is April? If you hurt even one string of her hair, I swear I'll make the Devil seem like the sweetest creature ever."
"She's in the same place her father tortured you in. If you, your family and friends won't come and exchange your freedom for hers, I'll hurt start to make her scream. If one of you doesn't appear, April Young will die." Pastor said with a cloth in the speaker so Kol wouldn't recognize his voice.
"We are on our way." Kol said and hung up.
Not long after the phone conversation, April started to wake up, making Her father to look at her.
"What happened? What's going on?" April asked confused. "Where am I? Why can't I move?"
"Hello, sweetheart." Her father said.
"Dad? What...? What happened? Why am I here?" April asked. "Why am I tied up?"
"I'm sorry sweetheart but I have to do this."
"What are you talking about?"
"I told you to stay away from the vampires but you didn't listen to me. You gave me no choice."
"So you tied me up in a chair? In the place I saw you hurt Kol?" April asked in disbelief.
"There's worst places. Like the one Klaus Mikaelson is in."
"What?! How? Where is he? What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything. Mikael is the one who has the privilege to hurt him. I only provide a place that's even worse than this. A place that is perfect to make him die in the most painful way."
"Dad, you're blind with this hate for vampires. They aren't all bad. How can you do this? You gave me your word that you would not hurt anymore vampires nor do anything against them."
"Sometimes parents need to lie in order to protect their children. I don't expect you to understand this now. You will only understand when you'll be a mother." Her father said.
"What are you going to do now? Will you make me stay here for how long?"
"It won't be long. Soon the vampires will be here."
"They will easily hurt you."
"I made them exchange their freedom for yours."
"They won't do that."
"Yes, they will." Her father said. "I'm sure they have a plan to come to your rescue and hurt me but I am one step ahead."
"What does that mean?"
"Don't worry about it. But I appreciate the weapons you brought, I might use them on them." Her father said. "They must be arriving soon..."
April's father left and April tried to untie the knots of the ropes but they were too strong and she couldn't simply break free. She felt the dagger Kol gave her inside her boot, but she couldn't grab it because her hands were tied up behind the chair, so she started to think in other ways of getting out, suddenly she remembered of a movie scene where the person who was tied up, broke free, by balancing the chair, making the person fall to the ground and break the back of the chair, helping to break free.
April did what the person of the movie did, but only ended up laying down, tied up to the chair, that was not even slightly broken, but that gave her then an idea, she roll over, facing the ground, letting the dagger that was inside her boot, fall to the ground, because her feet were also tied to the legs of the chair, then she rolled over again, grabbed the dagger, then got on her knees, took a deep breath and balanced herself backwards to be again seating like nothing happened and started to quietly use the dagger to cut the big and strong rope.
"What are you doing?" April's father quickly appeared, making April stop cutting the rope.
"I am choosing an outfit for tomorrow. What do you think I'm doing?"
"I heard noises."
"I was trying to find a comfortable position but it's impossible with this wooden chair and this ropes. I mean, not even the Hulk would be able to get out of these." April said.
"It's nice to know you're okay and are able to make jokes but you need to start praying those vampires will come because if they don't, I might do something I really don't want to."
"What will you do?"
"I'll have to send them a message that won't be all that nice." He said.
"We're here!" Kol's voice appeared, making April nervous for his well-being and her father smirk.
"It was about time." He said and went to see Kol.

"I'm going to kill whoever this is and it will be so brutal that when I'm done with it, this person won't be able to be recognized."
