It was almost time for Caroline to go see Mikael and Esther, she would be meeting Esther in a place and then Esther would take her to Mikael, because Mikael didn't wanted to reveal his location to Caroline right away.
Caroline put Klaus's blood, in a bottle that made it unable to see what had it inside, then she got a text from Esther saying she was about to leave, so Caroline grabbed her purse and went over to her car. Before she drove to the place where she would meet Esther, she took a deep breath and took a sip of Klaus's blood, which made her feel a bit more relaxed.
Once she got to the place she agreed to meet Esther, she got out of the car and waited for Esther.
"Caroline, I hope I didn't made you wait for too long."
"No. I just got here. So... where is Mikael?" Caroline asked.
"About that... he doesn't like the idea of you knowing where he is staying so I need to get you unconscious."
"I understand." Caroline said with a fake smile, making Esther smile and then everything went black.

"Someone is waking up." A voice said.
"Caroline, Mikael is here." Esther said as Caroline opened her eyes, finding herself in a room with no windows and no furniture besides a table and a few chairs.
"Where are we?" Caroline whispered.
"I don't like people who get too curious." Mikael said.
"She just woke up. It's normal for her to make these questions." Esther said.
"Mikael..." Caroline whispered, then realized her purse was missing. "Where is my purse?"
"Why do you want your purse? Are you hiding something in there that we can't know." Mikael asked suspicious.
"No. I just... I brought a bottle that had blood inside and right now I feel like some blood would wake me up enough to get this conversation going." Caroline said and wasn't a complete lie but the real reason she wanted the bottle was because she was getting uneasy by being around Mikael.
"Here you go." Esther said, giving Caroline the purse.
"If you have nothing to hide, you'll be okay with me seeing what's in your purse." Mikael said.
"Even if I think that I am entitled to my privacy, I understand your suspicious, since it's the first time we meet so you can see everything I have in there." Caroline said, taking the bottle of her purse and giving the purse to Mikael who quickly put the purse upside down, letting her things fell to the table.
"Let's see what we have here. A wallet, a pen, a notebook, vervain, a bag of makeup and... a phone. Maybe you have something in here it's not meant for us to see. It needs a password. Not suspicious at all."
"The password is 7258." Caroline said and Mikael quickly put the password to unblock her phone, then he went to see her texts and saw that she hasn't been calling nor texting with Klaus nor any of her friends.
"Lack of communication with your little friends."
"They were okay with Klaus keeping me in a dungeon without any blood." Caroline quickly lied.
"Mikael, she's been showing her loyalty."
"Fine. Let's get to what I really want to know. Why do you want to kill Klaus? And why should I let you be the one killing the one I've been hunting down for a thousand years." Mikael said, walking over to Caroline.
"He hurt me, he tried to kill me more than once, he is an awful person. He doesn't care about anyone but himself." Caroline said but she wasn't referring to Klaus.
"Alright. So I guess your story is the same Esther told me, which means you're being consistent and that's good. Besides you've said in different ways, which means you didn't memorized what you had to say. Now... why should you be the one who gets the pleasure of killing him?" Mikael said and Caroline had to drink Klaus's blood again to not let herself show how overprotective she was of Klaus.
"Because this way it will be even more painful for him. I would say he has feeling for me but he is incapable of that. But he does feel attracted to me and he sees me as a good challenge. He thinks I'm an innocent little girl who is incapable of hurting someone, much less him, making him surprised. He can expect you to kill him but if it's me, we have the element of surprise in our advantage." Caroline said, noticing Mikael be less against Caroline's idea. "Besides, it will be a way of him paying for what he did. He killed the woman you loved and you make him be killed by the woman he fancies."
"If he dies, all vampires die. Are you okay with that?" Mikael asked.
"If he ends in hell, suffering and paying for the things he did, then I'll be alright." Caroline said.
"I told you. Caroline killing Niklaus is the perfect plan." Esther said to Mikael.
"I need to make sure she will be able to do it."
"How?" Esther and Caroline asked at the same time.
"You know how." Mikael said to Esther and everything went black for Caroline.

Caroline woke up in the woods with Mikael by her side and Niklaus in front of her.
"Here's the white oak stake. Kill him." Mikael said.
Caroline looked at Klaus with an apologetic look and ran to him, starting to fight him, feeling it was all too real, then she ended up killing Klaus.
"Great. Now let's do it again." Mikael said and another Klaus appeared.
By the end, Caroline found herself surrounded by dead bodies of Klaus and every time felt worse than the time before.
"How do you feel?"
"Nothing. I will only get the real feeling of achievement once it's really done." Caroline said.
"Great." Mikael smirked and then Caroline found herself back in the room they were in with Esther.
"So... How will we do this?" Caroline asked.
"Easy. You will call him, you'll tell him that you are sorry for trying to kill him and you'll make him meet you in the woods." Mikael said.
"Do you think that will work?" Caroline asked.
"Yes. He does fancy you, right?" Esther said with a smile.
"Okay." Caroline smiled, then Mikael gave her her phone and she nervously looked for Klaus's number, hoping he would know she was doing this with Mikael and Esther.
"Caroline...?" Klaus said once answered the call.
"Klaus... I know it's late but I needed to talk with you."
"Of course. What is it?"
"I wanted to apologize for what I did. I shouldn't have tried to kill you. My friends tried to tell me about how you changed and I would love to get a fresh start with you. Can we meet?"
"Yes. When and where?"
"The woods... in 10 minutes or so."
"I'll be there."
"See you soon, Klaus." Caroline said and hung up.
"After so many centuries he still is the same foolish and naive boy." Mikael said with a smirk, making Caroline upset, so she quickly drank more of Klaus's blood.
"Let's do this." Esther said.
"Where's the stake?" Caroline asked.
"I'll give you once we get there." Mikael said and Caroline nodded with a fake smile.
I hope Nik knows this is a trap..., Caroline thought.
