(y/n) POV
"Mommy!" I said as I ran into Mommy's dressing room, "Hi sweetie." Mommy said as she picked me up, "You look very pretty Mommy." I said.
"Thank you kitten." She said as she kissed my forehead, "April said she's ready for today to be over." I said, "I know how she feels, but today's a big day." She said, "Why don't you go find your sister so I can finish getting ready." She said softly, "Ok!" I said as I ran off.
Several hours later it was finally time for the wedding. I sat next to Blake and Cinder. For some reason I couldn't stay comfortable for very long, I was constantly on edge almost as if I were waiting for something bad to happen. "You ok kitten?" Mama asked, "I...I'm ok, I guess I'm more excited than I thought." I said, "Ok sweetie." She said.
Father POV
"I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity!" I said as I loaded my gun.
"All three targets in one place." I said as I took aim.
(y/n) POV
We were halfway through the ceremony when there was a loud gunshot, "MASTER STAY BEHIND ME!" Daisy said as her arms returned to normal, suddenly there was a second shot that hit her in the arm, "And here I thought (y/n) killed you like all the others. Now I'm finding out that you decided to become his pet." A man said, "NOT YOU AGAIN!" I yelled as he shot again this time the bullet grazed my right cheek, "I'm not after you, but I will shoot you if I have to." He said as he shot at Mommy. "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" I yelled as I blocked the bullet with a blade I created.
"Sit down bud we've got this." Chris said as he drew a large sword from a void.
"No, not when my pathetic excuse for a father is trying to hurt my family!" I said, "Mommy?" I said, Mommy smiled, "Go get em kitten." Mommy said, "I'LL MAKE HIM BEG FOR MERCY!" I yelled as I sprinted towards Chris who opened a void up to my father.
"TAKE THIS!" I yelled as my father took a last minute shot at Mommy before I cut his gun in half. "Very good my son, but not good enough!" He yelled as he threw a punch at me, "Your not laying a hand on him!" Ghira and Grandpa said as they caught the punch, "Thanks you two, but leave this to us." Chris said as he slung his sword over his shoulder. "Chris I'm gonna need a better sword." I said as I threw my blade away, "I think I can help with that bud." He said as he handed me a sword.
"Be careful with it. It was mine from when I was your age." He said, "Thanks!" I said as I slashed at my father, suddenly there was a large explosion forming a large cloud of dust. "Very good. You didn't even hesitate for a second. You would have killed me for sure if I didn't have this." My father said as the dust settled revealing his sword.
"(Y/N) RUN!" Chris yelled as he grabbed me and threw me back while he drew a new sword that transformed into a scythe.
"NO!" I yelled, "I WASN'T ASKING! That's no ordinary weapon, it's a cursed gear. Just like this, and now I know your working for her." He said, "Why yes I am, and I will kill you, Lucinda and Glynda." My father said, "DIE!" I yelled as I snapped and reappeared next to him and stabbed him in the heart. "Your sword might have scared him, but a blade is useless if you cant use it!" I said as I changed my sword into a gun and shot my father repeatedly until he fell off the roof.
"MOMMY!" I shouted as I ran out of the void over to a large crowd of people.
"Hey there kiddo." April said weakly, her once white dress stained red with her blood, "A...April." I said as I began to cry, "Hey no tears bud." She coughed, "I...I need you to look after your mom, y...you know how she can be." She said weakly, "D...Don't talk like that you're going to be fine." Mommy cried, April smiled, "I... I love you both three thousand..." April said as she slowly passed, "YOU BASTARD!" Grandpa yelled, "LET HIM GO!" I yelled as I began to cry, "I want him to suffer and one day I'm going to kill him!" I said, "He's not my father and he never will be... as far as I'm concerned he's just a monster." I said, "And a monster should be with other monsters." I said angrily, "My baby." Grandma cried, "(y/n) come here." She said, I walked over to her and suddenly she hugged me. "Sweetie don't live for hate, April wouldn't have wanted that." She said, "Ok Sarah." I said, "I thought I told you to call me grandma." She said.
A few weeks later after April's funeral I left for Menagerie with Mama and Ghira. Mommy didn't know I left, and I didn't want her to. I knew if she had known she would have tried to stop me from leaving. "Kitten are you ok?" Mama asked, "I...I'll be fine Mama." I said as we walked into the house. "It's nice to see you again young one." A woman said from behind me, "Sienna?" I said, "In the flesh. Thanks to your mother, I'm able to be here." She said, "You see kitten, Adam stabbed her. She was half dead by time I had found her in the street bleeding out. I nursed her back to health and tended to her wounds." Mama said, "I owe your Mother my life." Sienna said, "This just goes to show you what being a good person can do." Mama said, "April was a good person. Look what happened to her." I said sadly as I walked to my room.
"Kitten you need to let it go. What happened to April wasn't your fault. That monster is to blame." Mama said as she sat down next to me on my bed, "YES IT WAS!" I shouted, "I just had to go and have one last fight! If I would have just stayed behind and let Chris handle it I could have blocked the shot!" I said, "If I wouldn't have tried to play hero April would still be alive!" I cried, "Kitten." She said, "Mama why does it hurt so much?" I cried as I hugged her, "It's because your a good person honey." She said as she hugged me and gave a kiss on the forehead.
