Hold on a minute! The baby dragon can talk?! DRAGONS CAN TALK?! WHAT!?
"What a strange reaction. I thought all humans knew that dragons could speak in many languages. Perhaps I am mistaken..." the dragon said.
Woah. Creatures that aren't human look so cool when they speak in the human language!
"I don't think people have enough information on dragons to know that. Meeting one is rare after all. And talking to one is even rarer!" I said excitedly.
THIS IS SO COOL! There are no mythical creatures on Earth, so meeting one in this world is AWESOME!! AND IT CAN TALK!!
"How foolish. Humans are unsophisticated to the point of preposterousness. This is why we dragons will never comprehend human nature," blurted the dragon.
"You are using some pretty big words for being so young. Look at how small you are!" I said.
I was a little shocked at how the dragon was speaking, especially since it looked younger than me.
"Dragons age more slowly than the human race. I should be many times older than you. But, you seem mature for yourself as well," the dragon inquired.
What it said was true. I'm pretty mature for my age...since my mental age is 19 years old.
"Whaaa..at? Naw. I'm just a toddler. Also, there is no way that you are older than me. I'm bigger than you!" I said teasingly.
"Hmm...I guess it is difficult to believe my age. What is your name, human?"
"It's Cordelia de Boren Cyllia."
"Thank-you. Now please hold out your hand."
"Huh? Why?"
"Just do it."
"Uhh sure."
I was a little confused at what the dragon was doing. I stretched out my hand anyway, AND THEN IT BIT ME!
"OWIE! THAT HURTS!" I thought this dragon was pretty rational, but apparently, I was wrong.
My blood flowed out of my hands. Looking at my cut, the dragon licked the wound. Immediately afterward, my cut healed itself in shocking speed.
"That should be a little better, human," said the drag-wait...WHAT! Standing before me was not the dragon. Instead, it was turning into...a human!
Its black fur became black clothing and its horns changed from blue to black.
The horns changed shape into spirals and the dragon's body changed into a human. But, the only thing that stayed the same was its alluring emerald eyes and a few of its scales on its hands.

"Wh-wh-wh-a-wha-wha-wha-WHAT! DRAGONS CAN BECOME HUMAN?! ALSO, YOU ARE ACTUALLY OLDER THAN THREE-YEARS-OLD!" I screamed.
What the heck just happened in front of me?! WHAT!?
"Another strange reaction...perhaps humans are more foolish than dragons believed," the hot guy in front of me said.
"Dragons CAN CHANGE FORM?!"
"It's ancient magic in the dragon community. Few can use it, but I am...special. All we need is the blood of the creature we wish to turn into."
"W-wow!"
"That is not important, though. Currently, I am in your debt, Cordelia. Without you, I may have died," he said.
"It's okay! You don't owe me anything!"
"...What a strange human."
"HEY! You say that too much! It's starting to be mean!!!!" I shook a little in my rage.
"...haha Haha HAHA!" The guy began to laugh loudly.
"You really are being mean!!!" I yelled.
"I know exactly how to pay you back...Hey, Cordelia, make a contract with me," the guy said calmly.
"What does that mean?"
"In return for my protection and magic, you will give me your protection and mana. We will become equals, so to speak."
"...Are there any risks?"
"Not really."
"Uhh...sure then?"
"Alright. Give me a name."
"Any name?"
"Yeah, but please pick wisely. This will be my name after all."
What name should I give him? This is hard. The face he's giving off is saying, "You better not mess this up or else."
This is hard. First off, the name needs to be easy to say. Next, it must be good or else he might kill me.
I tried to get inspiration from how he was, but I didn't want to come up with a cliche name. Seriously, every time a heroine gets to name something, it always ends up as "White" or "Black."
Be more creative, heroines!
But as I thought about it, I wondered what name sounded cool, yet could describe the dragon.
In reality, the dragon was probably going to protect me more than I would protect it. It was also more knowledgable than I was.
So basically, the dragon was perfect and probably extremely strong. Wait...I know a good name.
"What about...Ace?"
Ace is a relatively short name. It also describes the strength of this dragon.
So...will he like the name?
"..." The man before me froze and stayed silent for a bit before he smiled. It was a genuine, knowing smile.
Strange. I couldn't look away.
"Are you okay?" I said. He was acting weird.
"...I like the name. Thank-you, Cordelia," said Ace.
"Wait really? Yay!" To be honest, I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. Currently, Ace looked so peaceful and genuinely happy, yet it was so mysterious that I couldn't look away.
"Yes. All that's left is to seal the contract," Ace said.
"Huh? Okay, sure," I said, still in a daze.
In one quick motion, Ace grabbed my hand and pulled me in for a kiss. I didn't really understand what happened until it was over.
"Alright. It's done," Ace said calmly.
"Huh? Wait. WHAT! WAIT A MINUTE! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?" I am seriously confused right now. No way...did he just...k-ki-kiss me?!
"To seal the contract, there must be a kiss. I thought it was obvious," Ace said.
"WHAT!? NO ONE TOLD ME THAT!" I was seriously freaking out now. That was my first kiss ever!
In my past life, I NEVER KISSED ANYONE! Obviously, as a three-year-old, I didn't kiss anyone in this world either!
"Hmm...you really are strange..."
"CAN YOU STOP STAYING THAT?! YOU ARE THE STRANGE ONE!! YOU KISSED A TODDLER!! THAT MAKES YOU A PEDOPHILE!!" I screamed. I was about to go hysterical.
"Technically, I am a toddler too-in dragon years," Ace said wittingly.
"THAT DOESN'T MATTER RIGHT NOW! YOU ARE THE WORST!"
"Forgive me for that. I probably should have clarified."
"YEAH! YOU SHOULD HAVE!"
"I'm very sorry."
"COULDN'T YOU HAVE TURNED BACK INTO A DRAGON BEFORE KISSING ME?!
"Sorry, I didn't think about that."
"YOU IDIOT!!!"

I have finally calmed down...maybe. I am extremely mad at Ace, but what can I do now?
After he kissed me, a mark showed up on my right ankle, which Ace pointed out. It was an intricate black pattern that closely resembled a dragon.
"Shouldn't you be getting back soon? Your family is currently looking for you," Ace said after a while.
"How do you know?"
"My senses are better than an average human."
"Alright then. Let's quickly head back. But first, turn back into your dragon form. Dad might pass out if I brought a boy home." I said seriously.
"Yes, ma'am." Soon after, Ace's human body melted away and turned into a small dragon.
"Let's go home, Ace."
