Lauren woke up with a throbbing pain in her head. She slowly opened her eyes and squinted as she waits for her eyes to adjust from the brightness of the room. She scanned the room full of balloons with a handwritten get well soon and wake up Jauregui. She tried to speak but her throat is too dry. The door opened and Clara walked in holding a bouquet of sunflowers and a cup of coffee.
"Oh my god" Clara whispered as she walks towards Lauren placing the flowers and coffee on the table before holding Lauren's hand "Thank god you're awake"
"W-wat..er" Lauren tried to speak.
"Yes of course" Clara grabbed a cup of water and a straw "I'll be back in a sec okay?"
Lauren nodded as she drank all the water her mom gave her. After a few minutes her mom came back with a doctor.
"How are you feeling?" The doctor asked as he checks Lauren's vitals.
"Like shit. My head is killing me" Lauren replied. "Mom?"
"Hmmm?" Clara replied.
"Where's Camila?"
"We can talk about that later sweetie.. you need rest"
"I'm very well rested.. how long was I out?" Lauren frowned.
"2 days" Clara sighed
"Camila?" Lauren's voice cracked.
"She's still missing"
"Oh my god" Lauren whimpered
"Don't worry the police are doing everything to find her" Clara sat down.
"Don't worry too much Ms. Jauregui you're head is still recovering.. Stress and too much overthinking will trigger headaches" The doctor said and Clara nodded.
"Thank you"
"I'll be back with some medicines" The doctor smiled before walking away.
"It's my fault.. I was there. I promised her.. I promised her I would protect her" Lauren sobbed.
"It's not your fault baby" Clara rubbed Lauren's hand with her thumb.
"She must be so scared right now" Lauren wiped her tears off her cheeks "What about her bodyguard? Matthew?"
"He woke up last night. The doctors stitched the wound on his head"
"What about Alejandro?"
"He's not mad at you" Clara smiled "He's doing the best he can to find his daughter"
"It all happened so fast" Lauren sighed. "I hope she's okay"
"She will be.. It's Camila were talking about here. She's a fighter" Clara smiled.
"I'm scared mom" Lauren whimpered "I don't know what I would do if I lost her.. I can't just stay here and do nothing.. I need to find her"
"I know sweetie" Clara sighed as she wraps her arms around her daughter "Let's just pray and hope she's okay.. don't worry we'll find her. For now just rest honey"

"Fuck" Camila groaned as she pushes herself up on a bed. She tried to move her right leg but she can't. "What the fuck?" Camila frowned as she stares at a cast on her leg.
"It's broken"
Camila turned her head to the other side of the room.
"What the fuck?" Camila whispered "Cole?!"
"Hi Mila" Cole formed a weak smile as he rests his back on the wall. Camila frowned as she examines Cole's face filled with bruises and a busted lip.
"Where are we? And what the fuck happened to your face?" Camila asked.
"Long story.. how you feeling?"
"Heavy" Camila sighed "Lauren?"
"She's not here" Cole replied.
"Is she safe?"
"I think so"
"Why are you here?" Camila asked.
"Keep you company?" Cole chuckled.
"I'm serious" Camila rolled her eyes "And why are you trashing my car?"
"They sent me here to hurt you.. but I didn't.. I couldn't.." Cole sighed "When we first met.. I uhh liked you. You're so kind and sweet and I got to know you.. and our friends.. so I fucked up your car instead of you. Telling my brother I'm sending you threats to scare you.. But it wasn't enough for him.. so he came here to hurt you"
"Why?" Camila frowned.
"My dad.. Jack"
"Oh shit" Camila whispered
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.. he locked me up before I could warn you"
"It's okay.. don't blame yourself" Camila replied. "Is your brother a doctor?"
"No.. why?" Cole frowned
"How did the cast on my leg got here?"
"They payed a nurse" Cole replied.
"So is he the one who sent the box on my porch?" Camila asked and Cole nodded.
"I'n sorry Mila" Cole sighed and Camila smiled when she saw sincerity in Cole's eyes. "How can you smile when you're locked up in here with me? You're really weird Cabello"
"Crying and being miserable won't open the door, Cole" Camila replied.
"Good point" Cole smiled back.
"So.. how long was I sleeping?" Camila layed back down on her bed.
"A day" Cole replied.
"What are they planning to do with me?" Camila asked as she tries to fight the fear. She needs to be strong. That's what Lauren would tell her if she was there with her.
"I honesy don't know.. Don't worry.. I won't let them try anything to you"
"Thanks.. I can't fight them off if I have a broken leg"
"Punch them on the throat if they try to do something"
"Great idea" Camila chuckled.
It was quiet for a few minutes, Camila closed her eyes but snapped them open again when she heard keys dangling outside the door.
"Pretend you're sleeping" Cole whispered and Camila nodded. She closed her eyes again and took a deep breath. The door opened and she heard footsteps walking towards her.
"Heavy sleeper" The guy chuckled.
"She got hit by a car and broke her leg Dylan" Cole replied.
Dylan? Camila thought.
"Now I know why you won't hurt her.. she's fucking hot" Dylan chuckled while Cole scoffs.
Dylan walked closer to Camila and smiled "Her girlfriend is smoking hot too.. 'til I broke her face"
Camila tried to fight the tears as she focuses on staying strong for Lauren.
"You asshole! What did you do to her?" Cole glared at his brother.
"Don't worry.. I didn't kill her" Dylan scoffed.
Camila felt relieved at what she just heard.
"This one's really turning me on" Dylan smirked as he runs his fingertips from Camila's ankles up to the slit of her dress.
"Don't fucking touch her!" Cole ran towards Dylan but two guys held him back. "Let me go!"
"So protective.. do you love her?" Dylan chuckled and Cole just glared at him "Oh shit...you do. That's why you can't hurt her"
"Shut up" Cole muttered.
"Too bad.. she's not into guys" Dylan walked closer to Cole and lifted his chin up "If you didn't betrayed us.. you could've fucked her here"
"I'm not like you" Cole replied.
"You're nothing like me. You're weak" Dylan smirked before walking towards the door "Dad would be very disappointed in you"
The two guys shoved Cole on the ground before locking the door behind them.
"Fuck" Cole hissed.
"You okay?" Camila sat up and Cole nodded.
"I'm fine" Come sighed "You okay?"
"Y-yeah.. just uhm scared" Camila stammered as she covers her legs with a blanket. "H-he might..."
"I won't let him" Cole cut her off "I won'tet him touch you"
"Is it true?" Camila asked and Cole sat back down on his bed.
"Is what true?"
"You love me?"
