Alex's POV
Once Nick and I got to the police station with Officer Jason we ran inside to get some protection
"Do you think we need more Alex? there's no telling how many guys Stephanie has in there." Nick said
"Take some extra pistol casings just in case this is a military trained psycho path we had the sam military training she did so we know what to expect but...let's just keep a open eye out who knows what she's capable of especially when 2 of the people we love lives are on the line." I said
"Yeah you're right also don't forget these." Nick said as he threw 2 bullet proof vests onto the table
"How could I these things saved my life countless times." I said when we put all the things we need from the ammunition locker Officer Jason walks in and says
"I found where she is...we traced the signal from a nearby cell tower and the call was made at a old 3 story warehouse near the docks there's usually nobody there but recently witnesses my agents talked to said there has been intense activity there for the past couple days. Tell me right now and I can hundreds of my guys there in a second." he said
"No way you're doing that you can set them off and she'll kill my brother and Jeremy on the spot!" said Nick
"Listen Officer Jason she wants me I'll go in there and deal with her myself.." I said
"No that's fucking crazy at least go in with a trigger that way if you need backup I'll have my boys in there in a matter of seconds." he said
"She's not going in alone I'm going in with her." said Nick
"Nick.." I said before he interrupted me
"Trust me when I say I'll go in with you that way you can get Jeremy and when I get Zac Stephanie would be dealing with 2 highly trained military operatives..she'll be weak and she'll never hurt anyone again..." he said in a stern voice
"You're going to kill her.?" I said
"I would be okay with it it'll be considered self defense they wouldn't convict you if you did." said Officer Jason
"Stop..Just stop she may be a crazy son of a bitch but if we catch her she'll be convicted and rot in jail for the rest of her life don't give her the easy way out." I said
"Just an hour ago you were agreeing we should just take her out what changed your mind.?" said Nick
"Wouldn't you feel happy knowing the person you hate with all your life is living in a real life hell..while they sit in a dirty prison cell not leaving for the rest of her life.." I said Nick stayed quiet and so did Officer Jason I feel my phone vibrate and I see that I got a text message it was a unidentified number I opened it and it was a message from Zac
"Nick I think you should come and take a look at this." I said he walks over and he reads it
"Now we know what to expect all we gotta do now is figure out a way inside and get to them but we need to get past 3 stories of god knows what.."
"No problem lucky for us I got us blueprints of each exit entrance and passage way of that building." Officer Jason said
"Don't you think Stephanie would have this blocked off or guarded.?" Nick said
"Hey..It's useful now we know where to go if we're in trouble." I said they nod and I look over at the clock and I see it's 7:03 pm
"We should go I'll walk in and we'll find them but Nick if she gets me and releases the boys I want you to leave me behind.."
"No way not happening."said Nick
"Do it okay if anything goes wrong Officer Jason gave me a signal when that red light goes on send in the back up."
"But.."
"Do I make myself clear.?" I said he doesn't say anything
"Good now let's go." I said grabbing the extra bag of ammunition and putting a small pistol in my ankle holster we get into a squad car and head to the docks. Officer Jason straps wires onto me and a small trigger button to notify them if anything goes wrong. Oh how I pray nothing goes wrong.
*20 minutes later*
Still Alex's POV
When we finally make it to the docks we see hundreds of squad cars and Military personal
"What the fuck.? Who called back up!" yelled Nick he looks at Officer Jason and he says
"YOU FUCKING IDIOT DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE YOU GAVE US OUT SHE PROBABLY KNOWS AND SHE'S GOING TO KILL MY FAMILY!" he said
"I DIDN'T CALL BACK UP THEY PROBABLY TRACED THE CALL OR CHECKED THE MESSAGE LOGS THEY DO THIS WHEN THERE'S A CREDIBLE THREAT." he yelled back as we pull further inside I notice my dad standing by the army's jeep with 4 other military operatives we stop the car and get out and when he notices me he jogs to me and hugs me tight and I return the gesture and he says
"Sweetheart you shouldn't be here it's too dangerous let us handle this." he said
"No dad my son and my best friend are in there she wants me dad I have to go in there." I said trying to walk past him but he blocked me before I can take a step forward
"I can't let you do that." he said
"Dad this is my fight not yours now step aside." I said
"I'm not letting you in there!" he said
"Why the fuck not.?! can't you see it's my fight I need to finish this!" I yelled
"No! I CAN'T STAND THE THOUGHT OF LETTING YOU GO IN THERE I ALREADY THOUGHT I LOST YOU ONCE AND I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN BUT THIS TIME FOR REAL.!" He said I felt tears in my eyes and I said
"Dad..you'll never lose me but I need to do this to save Zac and YOUR grandson..and the only way I can do that is by going in there..please" I said he looks at me and hugs me then he looks at Nick and Officer Jason
"I want you two looking out for each other comeback safe all of you..Alex don't make me regret this..."
"I won't Dad I promise." I said
"GET THESE THREE SOME GEAR THEY'RE GOING IN!" he yelled once we get everything we walk up to the front doors of the warehouse and my phone starts blaring and it's a unknown number and I knew it was Stepahine
"Hey! you made it welcome to the party and I see you brought two guests but guess what you get to be with me while they spend their time with the rest of the guests downstairs."
"I'm coming for you... but a deals a deal I go in and you let them go your fights with me not them." I said
"We'll see Johnson We'll see..." she said then she hangs up we walk into the front doors and there's nothing but we had to keep an eye out just in case.
Demi's POV
I've been on edge for the past few hours since I found out about Jeremy and Zac I'm still in the hospital waiting for any news on Wilmer but so far nothing. I can't leave either because of my injuries and just sitting here doing nothing is making my anxiety rise and when my anxiety rises I panic and lose control of myself but the nurses here are keeping me calm but at the same time all these emotions coming throigh me all at once is literally driving me insane. I hear a comotion outside and I grab my crutches and stand in the doorway to see them reel in Wilmer in the other room next to mine I call the nurse and I tell her
"Can I see Wilmer Valderama or not yet.?"
"His surgey went on a little longer than we thought but you may see him if you'd like just give him a little time sweetheart." she said
"Thank you." I said I use all my strength to get to his room and once I do I see his side bandaged up and his head is also bandaged up to I hold his hand and I feel him hold it tight and he says in a weak voice
"D-Demi.."
"I'm here Wilmer..I'm right here."
"Demi..get my gun.. save Alex..Stephanie's going to kill her..save our boy...make sure they're safe and that y-you're safe..hermosa go my officers will protect you." he said in a weak voice
"Okay Wilmer I will..I will stay strong for us please.." I said with tears in my eyes
"I'm hanging in there Demi..go you don't have a lot of time.." he said I nod and I go to the end of the room to the box of his belongings
"Where is it.." I said to myself then I see his 12 mm pistol it's huge I check the case and there's 12 bullets in the chamber I hide the gun in my hospital gown and Wilmer said before I left
"Demi..watch out for yourself..please tell Jeremy I love him...that we love him." he said
"I will." I said I go back to my room and I grab my phone and call Dallas
"Hey any word on Jeremy yet.?" she said clearly sounding on edge too
"Where are you.?" I said
"On my way to see you why.?" she said
"Meet me in the parking lot and drive me somewhere."
"Drive you where exactly.?" she said
"Dallas enough with the fucking questions I don't have a lot of time!" I said
"Okay! I'm pulling up already come outside." she said I hang up and make sure none of nurses see me when the coast is clear I quickly use my crutches to sneak off outside. I see Dallas's BMW and she opens the door for me and helps me inside, Once she get's into the car I pull out Wilmer's gun and make sure it's ready
"Where the fuck did you get that.?!" she said
"Dallas just fucking drive I need to save the ones I love before it's too late." I said I look to the hospital doors to see nurses running towards the car
"STEP ON IT!" I said Dallas hits the gas and we get onto the main roads I check the find my iphone app and I see Alex's current location
"Do you even know where we're going.?" Dallas said
"Go to the docks that's where I need to be." I said as we got closer I notice dozen of police cars and Military personal
"Fuck how am I going to get passed all these cops." I said then I hear gunshots going off inside and I began to panic so I dropped my crutches and I limped as fast as I could getting past the cops and into the old warehouse doors too see nothing but smoke and broken debris every where as I make my way through I hear more gunshots going off upstairs.
Alex's POV
Once we get up the stairs we hear shots being fired towards us Nick and I fire back and so does Officer Jason I turn my head looking quickly where the bullets were and I see 3 guys firing at us Nick shots 2 rounds and I shot 4 and I hit 2 guys and Nick hits the last one
"MOVE!" I heard someone say on the other side
"GO! GO!" I said we move fast and we have our heads lowered as we fired into the open halls shooting 2 more guys and clearing the hall but we knew there were more coming
"GO TO THE EAST WING.!" yelled Officer Jason I Look to his direction and I see Stephanie and she points a gun right at him
"JASON LOOK OUT!" I yelled he turns and she fires hitting him in the shoulder blade Nick and I fire at her direction but she runs up the stairs I run after her and Nick grabs Officer Jason and puts him somewhere safe. I run up the flight of stairs but she fires almost hitting me then I fire a few rounds but nothing I run past the doors and there's a dark hallway
"Fuck.." I said to myself then I see the flash of a gun go off and I felt a familiar burn on my arm one I've grown to familiar with.
"AHH FUCK!" I said she didn't hit me the bullet just grazed my skin but it burned like a bitch
"GIVE UP JOHNSON YOU DON'T HAVE A CHANCE!"
"NOT UNTIL YOU LET THEM GO!" I said it gets quiet
"Fine..."she said I hear a door open and I see Zac being pushed out and he's holding Jeremy I see them and I nearly burst into tears he walks to me and Jeremy sees me and yells
"MOMMA! YOU CAME TO SAVE US LIKE YOU PROMISED!" He said
"Yeah I did baby." I said
"Wait we're not done here yet Alex you see one false move you make and I shoot both of them right now walk towards me..." she said Zac walks next to me and I whispered to him
"Go downstairs and run whatever you do don't stop get him out of here." I said when I see Stephanie point the gun at me she said
"Go on Zac get going and Alex drop your gun and kick it over..NOW!."
"Alright here." I said and I kicked it to her she picks it up and she laughs and says
"You know how long I've waited for this moment to see you weak and vulnerable..I find it so funny how now I'm in control of you and you're nothing but a weak,worthless and a coward individual now.."
"You've got what you wanted now are we done here.?" I said
"Oh no the show just started and look we have a audience now do we." she said as she points the gun behind me
"NO!" I grab the gun and push it up she fires it but the bullet hits the water pipe causing it to burst she drops the gun and I punch her she grabs me and tries to pin me down
"GET OUT OF HERE RUN!" I yelled to Zac as the water is falling down on top of us I managed to get on top of her and punch her making her nose bleed she grabs me by the collar and head-buts me hard causing me to get off her. She tackles me and she knocks over the old wooden door causing it to shatter into hundreds of pieces she continues to hit me and she grabs me from my throat. I struggle for air and I see the evil in her eyes I try to reach for whatever is near and I grab a metal bar and I bash her head with it getting her off of me I grab the gun from my ankle holster and I point it at her. She looks at me and wipes her bloody lips and laughs
"Do it..KILL ME it's all you ever wanted right..." she said I have the gun pointed at her but I couldn't pull the trigger
"See you can't do it can you...you wouldn't have the guts to kill your own blood would you.?" she said
"What the fuck are you talking about.? what do you mean my own blood.?!" I said she slowly gets up holding onto her sides and her lip and nose kept bleeding and she says
"You see I grew up without the love and without the family, I always wanted the life you had but they gave me up...he gave me up and he raised you instead of me..his perfect little daughter while he had another who was suffering. When I found out where he lived I saw him with you happy and living life with you while he didn't give a shit about me and I vowed that day that I'll make you suffer. That school shooting that happened I hired someone to kill you but they failed in the process all I wanted was for to die that way I can live the life I never had the life you had with your dad...our dad." she said
"No....No it can't be...NO!"
"That's right Alex...I'm your sister..." she said as she hold her hand out to me and she says
"Save me baby sister...save me.."
"N-no...N-no."
"SAVE ME!!!." she yelled
"NO!" As I fired the gun hitting her in the arm
"AHHH!" she yelled she falls again and she sees the blood coming out from her arm she looks at it and smiles
"Oh the pain...how I love this burning feeling." she said she get's up again and I said
"You're fucking crazy...You're fucking crazy we aren't the same! We aren't the same!" I said
"Oh but we are we're more alike than you think..." she said
"No..No!"
"But I have one last thing for you..." she said as she was shaking and struggling to stand
"What.?!" I said as she pulls a gun out and points it at me I didn't react fast enough and I heard a gun go off....
