Through Jay, I was able to know what it meant to be normal.
We lived normal for the rest of our lives. It took years, but eventually I got past the whole "assassin" thing. We loved each other unconditionally and the ninja became my family.
Five years after we first met, Jay proposed to me on the beach, waves lapping at our toes. I said yes.
Through him, I found love.
Through him, I discovered happiness and peace.
Through him, I was able to be complete.
And best of all, he taught me what forgiveness looks like.
