adelaides point of view
it's tuesday today so i'm supposed to upload on my personal channel. lexi and i are going thrifting today for our channel together because we have a ton of videos stored up that we need to edit still so doing a thrift with us is the easiest way to not have to edit a bunch. we have videos for the next two months but they all need edited.
today colby and i decided to tell our fans that we're dating. i'm super nervous. we are telling them on my channel so we need to sit down to film soon
i got colby to sit down and film with.
"hey what's up angels! it's adelaide! today i'm going to be doing a video with... my boyfriend!!" i said as colby came into the frame, sitting on my bed with me "so guys this is my boyfriend colby i said kissing his cheek.
he introduced himself and said hi to the camera. we explained our relationship and how we met and when we started dating and where our first date was and everything.
we only filmed for like 20 minutes before we were finished as i was just going to put in clips from the past month of us that were too romancey to put into the normal vlog
i had videos of us cuddling that our friends took and videos of us dancing together when we were in sundance and videos of us giving each other presents. i inserted pictures of us from dates and everything as well.
i closed out the video by letting everyone know that next weeks video would be a boyfriend tag.
colby and i walked into the living room, alexis had her new boy over. well this is interesting
"hey adelaide. cmere" lexi said, motioning me towards the couch. i grabbed colby's hand and took him into the living room with me. "okay this is adam. adam this is addi and colby"
he said hello to us as we did to him and he seemed pretty chill. adam soon left so colby and i sat on the couch. colby was sat up against the back corner of the sectional couch and i was laying in between his legs, also laying down.
"i can't believe halloween is this weekend, i need to get more costumes. i have kian & jc's party on friday and then yours on saturday and then that halloween party on sunday." i said looking at colby. he asked me if i wanted to go shopping and i agreed, changing into a different outfit.
one of my friends is in film school and had to edit a video for a project so she ended up asking if she could edit my video this week. i happily agreed so she was uploading that for me today.
i got out my vlog camera as we started walking down the stairs.
"can we stop and get chipotle for lunch?" i asked, grinning
next thing i knew, we were pulling into chipotle. colby and i's video was going up around now so i logged in and was reading some of the comments out loud to colby.
"i knew they were together, it was kinda obvious."
"they're so cute together, hard ship."
"why're they the same person but addi is more boujee??"
"i hope addi makes him go thrifting omg"
"she's pretty but seems kind of clueless"
"he's emo, she's emo, perfect combo"
"colby won't be 5th wheeling anymore"
"i wonder what addis friend, lexi thinks as she used to be obsessed with him."
"i hope they live together soon."
"guys think about the fact that the trap house lease and the adilex apartment lease is almost up."
"who told addi she could pop off like that after that video of her ex mans being an ass to her??"
"i'm lowkey sad because i'm in love with colby but at least he's happy"
i kept reading, most comments being positive.
of course, as expected, their were negative comments as well.
colby and i sat there laughing about the comments on the video.
"so i just need to get this straight. for thanksgiving, we're flying to kansas and staying there from November 18 until the 23rd then flying to new york and staying with your mom from November 23th until the 28th then flying back home on december 2nd, yeah?" colby asked me
"as far as i know, yes." i replied back.
we continued talking about our plans, making sure we were clear before heading out to go shopping.
we freely walked around holding hands and kissing for the first time ever. sure, we'd do this before however very discretely as we weren't official in the public eye. it felt good to be able to do whatever we wanted.
colby and i shopped for nearly 4 hours before heading back to the trap house. everybody was getting ready to watch a movie in the living room. it was some scary movie that i had absolutely no interest in.
colby and i somehow managed to get a spot on the couch. he was sitting in the corner with me basically sitting on top of him, cuddling.
it was so nice to be around everyone i cared about, jake and madeline are dating now as well as aaron and gracie.
i guess i ended up falling asleep during the movie as i woke up to colby carrying me up the stairs.
he laid me down in bed, throwing a big hoodie over my tube top and taking off my jean shorts, the hoodie covering me.
colby got into bed with my, pulling me close to him. i smiled to myself thinking about the positive feedback from the fans. i feel like most of them were wanting or expecting this anyways.
i was then thinking about my costumes for this weekend. i was excited also excited about colby meeting my dads side of the family and my siblings and my moms side. i was excited but also nervous to meet colby's family.
i soon drifted back into sleep, thinking about meeting colby's family and vice versa.
