My name is Clara Smith. I was walking to school one morning when I passed out. Luckily, I happened to be on a busy road when it happened, so someone was able to call the ambulance for me. I was whisked away to a hospital where I would be examined.
No one told me what was going on, but I assumed I was going to die soon. The nurses would often come into the room, give me a look of pity, and then leave. Thanks for making me feel better.
Before you all say something, I'm not sad. Not in the slightest. Real life was just boring. I had no friends or siblings to worry about either. Also, my parents never really had time for me. If I could describe them in three words, they would be: greedy, selfish, and uncaring. At some point, I wanted to work hard enough to get their attention, but it never ended well.
I'm not a useless child either! I was extremely smart. I ranked in the top ten nationally for my smarts. I was one of the geniuses in this world. Sports weren't very hard for me to learn either. I was also pretty good at cooking. My parents sometimes didn't give me food because they would rather use the time to party all night with friends. So, I would steal stuff from the kitchen and make my own home-cooked meals. My cooking would rival a five-star restaurant...I think. I never ate at any restaurant, so I would never know.
Because of all this, I'm a pretty responsible and independent lady, if I do say so myself. But now I'm about to die. I doubt my parents would care if I'm alive or not anyway. I'm just something that is wasting their money. Also, life is boring anyway. Therefore, I shall wait for death with open arms.
In the meantime, I purchased a popular otome game to pass the time. It was called "Love, Love in the Super Cool Magic Academy of Incredibly Hot Guys." Besides the disastrously long, stupid, and embarrassing name, it was actually pretty fun. I played through the whole game in less than a week and unlocked all the hidden characters. Too bad the name sucked, or I would be talking about it with the nurses, who became my temporary friends before my imminent death.
After finishing the game, I decided to take a walk. I needed to stretch my legs anyway. While walking around the hospital, truck-san decided to give me a visit. WHY! TRUCK-SAN, I WAS GOING TO DIE ANYWAY! DID YOU HAVE TO CONVENIENTLY CRASH THROUGH THE WALL WHERE I WAS WALKING?!? I STILL HAD LIKE A FEW MONTHS LEFT TO LIVE!!! (A/N Truck-san, nooo.)
"Whyyyy...tru...c..saannn...." were my last words before I died.

Now I'm here in a pure white space. A man who looks like he's in his twenties is doing the dogeza in front of me and is repetitively begging for forgiveness.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm so-"
"Stop. First, tell me where I am. Next, tell me who you are. Lastly, explain why you need my forgiveness," I told him. The aura this guy was giving off was so depressing that I got annoyed.
"Y-yes ma'am. Uh. You're in the ju-judgment room where we decide whether you go to H-heaven or Hell. I am the i-idiot god of fate that me-messed up... I may have messed up your whole fate..."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, when I was err- writing down what your fate would be, I accidentally sp-spilled some of my ink on the paper before sending it off. So your life was going to be pitch bl-black because of m-me. Umm... originally, you were going to be born in a happy family with many cute pets... you would later be the CEO of a very p-prominent company..."
"Wait...WHAT! I should have been RICH? I SHOULD HAVE BEEN RICH? WHERE'S MY MONEY? IABFGHURBWEUHRB!!!" I screeched. I think I scared the poor guy, but I really hated my life before, so learning that my bad past was his fault made me angry.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm sorry!" The "god" was continuing to beg for my forgiveness, which was becoming more annoying. So, I decided to forgive him if he did me a favor to shut him up.
"I'm a pretty nice person, so I'll forgive you!" I said with my nicest smile.
"Re-really!? Thank-you so so mu-"
"BUT. Where is my compensation?"
"H-huh? Co-compensation?"
"Yeah. I think I deserve some. I mean, you ruined my life. So, shouldn't you repay me?" I know I sound pretty evil right now, but this guy was so easy to boss around. What was "god-like" about him? Also, I was going to get some compensation.
"Y-yeah. Sure. I'll uh reincarnate you into a-another world...!"
"Anything else...?" I said threateningly.
"H-how ab-about three w-wishes!" said the god.
"Ok. I'll accept. Thank-you!"
"R-really! Thank goodness!" yelled the god joyfully. "So what would you like?"
"Hmm... First, I would like to keep all of my memories of my past life. Also, I would like to live a fun life. Lastly...hmmm...How about I let you decide?"
"Really? Okay then. I'll do my best to accomplish your wish," said the god who was slowly regaining his composure after momentary shock. I didn't notice before due to his weak figure, but he was extraordinarily beautiful. His face had the golden-ratio and he had long white silky hair.
He was the type of guy that would make all the girls either swoon or faint in front of him. His resting face seemed bored yet wise, but because I saw his appearance earlier, I knew that this guy had a weak character.
"The world I am going to send you to is out of my jurisdiction. But, I will inform the god there about your situation. I wish you the best of luck."
"Wait! Before I go, can you tell me your name?"
"Huh? My name?"
"Yeah. It's kind of sad just calling you 'God of Fate.' So, tell me your real name!" I said. He seemed like a cool dude (besides when he's annoyingly depressing).
"Uhh...sure. My name is Shai."
"Thanks, Shai, for the reincarnation. Also, since I don't think we'll be able to see each other in person anymore, can I ask for another favor other than the three?"
"That depends on what it is."
"Can we talk from time-to-time? I bet you're lonely sometimes. We can talk through dreams or something."
Shai shocked for a moment. His expression was kind of funny, especially on his hot face.
"Uh... sure. I would love that," he said with a true smile. Kyaaaaaa! Flowers were literally blooming behind him. If I didn't know his personality, I would have totally fainted or gotten a nose bleed on the spot. A god's beauty is no joke.
"A-alright then! I'll be off! Talk to you soon!" I said, trying my best to leave the bright light coming from Shai's face.
"Ok. May fate be on your side," Shai said with his glittering smile. Agggghhh! Get me away! The light...it's purifying me! Noooooo...
The next thing I know, I'm in a dark place.
