Alex's POV
I lay in the hospital bed with Demi and she has a boot on her right leg the doctors said her fibula is broken so she has to be in this boot for 2 months but I can tell how she is now in my arms that she doesn't care because she's happy right now. I kept holding onto her then she smiles at me and she kisses my forehead and I kiss hers then she says
"I can't wait to go home and be with you and Jeremy again." she said I smile and I said
"Me neither I can't wait until we finally get out of this uniform and to cuddle on the couch with you guys at home and watch our favorite movie like we always do." she has a huge grin on her face and she squeals a little and she hugs me
"I love you Alex" she said
"I love you too Dems" I said we kiss one last time before we break away and she says
"What are we going to do now that we know what Stephanie did.?" she said I sighed knowing that the person who killed my best friend and tried to kill me and my friends in the process I knew if we found her it wouldn't be good for either her...or me.
"They sent out a nation wide search since she is a national security threat after she put innocent lives at risk on the other side of the world, not to mention endangering the loves of The United States Army personal. I know that when they find her we'll go back to living our lives again without looking over our shoulder scared that she might come after us again." I said right when Demi was about to speak we heard a commotion outside
"GET HIM INTO INTENSIVE CARE WE'RE LOSING HIM!! HIS PULSE IS WEAK!!!" yelled someone from outside I had a bad feeling in my gut about it so I leaped off the bed and opened the door to see nothing but doctors running to help the paramedics reel in a stretcher. As the doctors came by running past me I saw a familiar face behind that breathing mask and I felt my face grow pale once I realized it was Wilmer.
"ALEX!" I heard someone say I look over to the hospital doors to see Nick running towards me I pull myself together and walk run towards him
"Nick what the fuck is going on!? Where's Jeremy!" I said in a panic
"It was Stephanie that stupid bitch kidnapped him and my brother I went over to your house looking for Zac and the door was cracked open the house was a mess when I walked in and I found Wilmer on the floor bleeding he was still conscious when I found him and he went to check on Jeremy since he said that a group of people jumped him and nearly beat him to death. We looked in his bedroom and all over the house but he wasn't there...Alex she has him and my brother she said if you don't turn yourself over to her in the next 24 hours she'll kill them." he said my heart dropped and my anger grew all I thought about at that moment was rescuing the ones I love and taking that bitch out once and for all. I turn around to see Demi on her crutches crying I ran to her and she dropped her crutches the second my arms wrapped around her and she sobbed into my shoulder
"My babyboy!" she said sobbing I felt the tears fall from my eyes I hold onto Demi and I see a officer run towards the emergency doors where they took Wilmer only to be stopped by nurses and doctors, I saw the frustration in his face as they denied him for the 5th time in a row he finally gave up and punched the wall as he too was worried about Wilmer. He looks at me and asks me
"Are you two Jeremy's Parent's." he said
"Yeah we are Wilmer is the biological father and Alex is like Jeremy's second mom." Demi said his face showed sympathy and he said
"We'll do everything we can to bring Zac and Jeremy back we have all our officers looking at every building,hotel,basements anything to find this crazy son of a bitch to put her away where she belongs." he said I'm still holding onto Demi and I said
"Baby you need to rest your leg c'mon I'll lift you back to bed."
"No not when my babyboy is out there scared wondering where his Momma and Mommy are to come save him."
"I know baby believe me that I know but I know what to do to get them back." I said Demi looks at me and her eyes were filled with tears then her eyes get wide and her tone changes
"No don't you dare! there has to be another way than giving yourself up to her!" she said
"Demi I have to it's the only way". I said
"No Alex! There's other ways to do this other than this please don't fall into her trap it's suicide!" she yelled
"Demi I have to I can't risk officers going in there because what if she kills them before we have the chance to reach them it's the best way for me to....give myself up to her." I said she bites her lip trying hard not to cry but she fails and begins sobbing and she grabs me and pulls me into her chest and I hug her back. I can hear her heart beating fast as she holds me close
"Please...when you go over there please don't die because I can't stand the thought of losing you again and this time not having you come back."
"I promise Demi...I promise." I said she kisses me on the lips and it was full of passion and lust that both of us didn't want to let go but we had to. she put her forehead against mine and she looked deeply into my eyes and said
"I love you baby." she said
"I love you too baby." I said I turn around and I see Nick standing in the doorway and he has a tear in his eye
"A-Alex Wilmer is in surgery now they said it'll take some time maybe in the next 2 hours they said that there was a lot of internal bleeding and that if he wasn't found in time he wouldn't have survived.." he said Demi starts to cry again and I held her in my arms and I said
"Nick you saved his life you know that right."
"Alex no I-" I cut him off and said
"Yes you did if you didn't go inside and find him we wouldn't know what was going on or anything you saved him Nick." I said he had tears filling up his eyes and he walks over and we all hug each other and pray.Once we're done my phone starts ringing and it's a unidentified number I look at the screen and I said
"Hang on guys I'll be right back." I said they nod and I answer as I walk out the hospital door into the main entrance to get a good signal
"Hello.?" I said
"Hey Alex long time no see I thought you died in the car accident why can't you take the hint and just fucking die already.!" they said I recognized that voice it's the same voice that always sent chills down my spine I felt anger run through me and I said
"What the fuck have you done Stephanie!" I said
"Nothing just sitting here with Zac and Jeremy just having a good time."
"You hurt any of them and I swear I'll have you six feet under!" I said
"Woah! No need for violence Alex so tell me how's Wilmer doing I saw him go into Memorial Hospital just awhile ago and I can tell you're outside right now standing by the green palm trees." she said I looked around at every building nearby including cars and the parking lot across the street
"Where are you.?!" I said
"Now why would I tell you that.?" she said
"You want me then come get me I'm right here out in the open shoot me if that's what you want! Unless you're fucking scared." I said
"It doesn't work that way Alex you have to come to me in order for me to give you what you want." she said
"Then where the fuck are you.?!" I said
"I'll send you the address Johnson and how does Demi feel about all this.? How is she even though she almost-" she said before I interrupted her
"Don't you dare fucking bring her into this! your fight is with me not her!" I said
"I think it does and I have someone here to prove that.." she said I hear the phone being tossed around and I hear a familiar voice on the other end
"Momma.?"
"Jeremy! babyboy are you okay did the bad person hurt you.?" I said
"Momma I wanna go h-home Uncle Zac is here keeping me company while the bad person is here." he said I felt tears come into my eyes
"That's good that Uncle Zac is there okay baby stay with him and don't let the bad person hurt you okay Momma and Mommy are coming okay.?"
"Okay Momma I love you." he said
"We love you too baby."
"No! Noo I wanna keep talking to my Momma!" I heard Jeremy say on the other line
"Jeremy! baby Momma's here!" I said as I heard the phone being tossed around again
"And to show you that he's also alive here's one of the guys we served with." Stephanie said and I heard another voice that I was glad to hear
"A-Alex.?"
"Zac I'm here it's okay we know what we have to do now Nick and I are coming to get you okay.?" I said
"Alex..when you get here... kill this bitch once and for all make sure my brother is safe and take care of yourself I'll see you when you get here.." he said I hear footsteps running towards me and it's Nick
"Alex is that.?" he said
"It's Zac" I said I hand him the phone and Nick says
"Zac! I got you brother we know where you are we're coming okay!" he said
"I love you Nick.." he said and we heard a loud crash on the other end and Zac yelling and I hear Jeremy crying
"Don't hurt my uncle!"
"Jeremy hide! please close your eyes and count to 10!" Zac said the phone starts to lose signal and Stephanie says on the other line
"You have 10 hours now hurry the clock is ticking." she said and the call ended Nick and I had tears in our eyes and he had his hands over his head
"Fuck I'm going to kill that bitch!" he said my phone vibrates and it's a message with the address where they are
"I got the address Nick we have one shot at this and we need all the backup we can because there's no telling what this bitch could do." I said he nods his head and we make a few calls and we make a plan on what to do once we're inside.
"This crazy bitch messed with the wrong family." Nick said
"She did but we all know that she won't hurt anyone else after tonight." I said
"Alex we're a family now, we stick together and no matter what happens Zac and I love you guys like our own blood we'll always be here okay.?" I nod my head and hug him
"I love you guys so much."
"We love you too."
Zac's POV
After the beating Stephanie gave me my stomach is bruised and my arm is broken I see Jeremy hiding and I knew Stephanie was downstairs I call Jeremy and he runs over and he helps me up and I wrap my arm around him and I hug him and said
"It's okay Jeremy I'm okay listen I won't leave you here alone okay you have me here to protect you we're family okay." I said he nods and hugs me tight
"I love you little man."
"I love you too Uncle Zac." he said as I hug him tight then we hear the door kick open and it was Stephanie, the loud noise caused Jeremy to flinch a little but I held him tight and whispered in his ear
"It's okay Jeremy it's okay I got you okay your safe in my arms." I said
"Awww isn't that cute." Stephanie said
"Leave him alone you've caused enough harm to him already."
"Whatever.." she said then 4 of her guys came in and she said
"I need you guys to load up the ammunition when she comes in don't kill her bring her up here to me I'll finish the job.." they nod their heads and leave as Stephanie continues to look at surveillance cameras I see Alex on one camera on the phone with my brother and I see the time stamp on the video and it was from an hour ago. I see her zoom in and she said
"Soon I'll have you six feet under my friend even if we're the same biologically I would rather have you dead than alive.." she said
"I thought you weren't going to kill her that was the deal." I said
"Sometimes deals don't fall through especially when it's your own blood...." she said as she kept looking at the screen with Alex and Nick on it
"She'll know everything pretty soon..oh she will." she said as she walked away locking the door behind her I looked at the desk to see computer monitors and keyboards I knew if I would hack into the system it could set off a alarm but I couldn't risk the fact on getting caught who knows what she'll do if I did that then I see the phone she used to call Alex I look at Jeremy and I said
"Little man I need you to do a small mission." I said he looks at me and nods his head
"I need you to run to the desk and hand me that phone and when I'm finished to put it back to where it was can you do that.?" I said he nods his head and says
"Yes Uncle Zac." he gets up and runs and once he grabs the phone he hands it to me and I find Alex's number and I sent her

"Stephanie is planning on capturing you once you get into the building her guards are going to be inside when you get here watch your back please. We're on the upper level make sure Nick doesn't separate from you don't text back please or she'll fine out-Zac"
I sent the text and deleted it from the messages that way she wouldn't know I touched it I give Jeremy the phone and he puts it back to where it was and he runs back to my arms and we sit down together and we hear the door open and I whispered in his ear
"Mission accomplished little man." I said he smiles and I hug him tight now all we have to do now is wait and pray to come back home safely.
