Chapter 32: Japan Debut
I woke up a little early today. I have to meet Mark before they leave for Japan. I’m going to miss GOT7.
I checked my phone.
From: Peter Pan <3
Hey. Are you already awake? Meet me at the backstage now.
This text was 4:30 in the morning and it’s already 5:00am. OMG.
I immediately went to the backstage and start looking for Mark.
“Hyung?” I said.
“Ooh, you just woke up now?” Mark said.
I nodded. I still feel so sleepy, honestly.
“It’s fine. At least you woke up to say goodbye to me.” he said. “Err, I mean see you later, not goodbye.”
I smiled at him. “Yeah, it’s a see you later.”
“Oh, by the way, I want you to take care of this. It’s one of my favorite caps. So even though I’m not here physically, I’m here through this cap.” he said then handed me the cap.
I took it. Oh, what should I give to Mark?
“And in replacement for this, I’ll be taking that bracelet you’re wearing.” he said.
I looked at the bracelet. Oh, it was the one given to me by a man before. Will I give it to Mark? Yes because Mark even gave me his cap. I took it off and gave it to Mark.
“Fine. But please be careful with it. I don’t know who gave me that but it’s still important for me.” I said. “Oh, and don’t worry. I’ll take care of this cap too.”
Mark smiled, “I want you to wear that until I return.”
“But you won’t be able to see me wearing it.” I said.
“It’s fine. I trust you.” he said.
Oooh. He trusts me? It is one of the sweetest words I wanted to hear, to be trusted by a person. I smiled.
“I trust you also.” I said.
Then Mark hugged me.
“I’m going to miss you.” he said.
I tapped him, “Yah, you’ll still return. Why is it as if you’re saying goodbye?”
He just smiled and hugged me tighter.
After having some small conversation, Mark went back to the dorms and I saw GOT7 going out of the room already.
“Noona!” Bambam said. “I’m going to miss you!”
Bambam hugged me tight.
“I’m going to miss you too Bambam! Gambatte!” I said.
“Ah, I know that. Gambatte means ‘Good Luck’, right?” Bambam said.
“Yeah, or ‘Do your best’ but it also means the same.” I said. “Do your best everyone!”
“Of course we will. Thanks for the encouraging words Rhianne.” JB said.
He tapped my back and just stared at me. I know he is staring at me even though he is wearing his shades.
“JB, where’s the sun?” I asked pretending that there’s the light.
I was teasing JB because there’s no sun yet but he is wearing his shades already.
“Yah, you’re teasing me. It’s just that I have no make-up that’s why I wore this shades.” he said.
I took off his shades.
“But you still look like JB even without shades.” I said.
“Am I handsome?” he asked and stared at me.
I’m melting. -_-
I nodded. “Yeah! Every one of you is handsome.”
“Ei, noona you’re not lying?” Yugyeom said.
I made a promise sign. “I’m not lying, I promise.”
“Don’t worry Rhianne, we’ll bring some souvenirs from Japan.” Jackson said while tapping my back. “Who do you want?”
“I want Ryoma Echizen.” I said. “Oh no, I prefer, Kunumitzu Tezuka or Fuji Syuusuke or Eiji! Yah right Eiji! But I also like Kuroko’s Basketball. Ah who to choose?”
Jackson looked at me weirdly. “Like for real, Rhianne? Who are those? Or I mean what are those?”
“Yah, you’re not watching anime?” I asked.
He shook his head. “They’re just a bunch of cartoons right?”
“CARTOOONS???” I said. “No way! Anime and cartoons are different.”
“No, they’re still the same.” Jackson said.
And I was just like *facepalm* Jackson suddenly tapped my back again. “Hahaha. JOKE! Of course I know they differ, in some part I guess?”
“Whatever” I said while making a W-shape using my three fingers.
“Ei guys, let’s go now.” JB said. “See you soon, Rhianne!”
I waved goodbye at them. Ooh, I’m going to miss them.

GOT7
“Is everybody here?” Park Noh-Young said.
GOT7 was in the lobby preparing themselves for their trip in Japan. They feel so pressured today since it’s going to be their debut there.
“We’re complete.” JB said after counting GOT7.
They started to put their things on the van and rode the van too. They’re on their way to the airport.
On the airport,
“Hyung do you want some drinks?” Youngjae said to Mark.
“Thanks Youngjae!” Mark said while he raised his hand to get the drink.
Youngjae suddenly saw that Mark was wearing Rhianne’s bracelet.
“Uh, hyung, that’s Rhianne’s bracelet right? Why is it with you?” Youngjae said.
Mark looked at the bracelet and smiled. “We exchanged things. My cap is with her and her bracelet is with me.”
Youngjae sat down beside Mark. They were still waiting for their flight.
“Hyung, can I look at it?” Youngjae asked.
Mark nodded and let Youngjae touch the bracelet. Youngjae started to look so seriously at the bracelet.
“I’m right.” Youngjae said.
“About what Youngjae?” Mark asked.
“Uhh.” Youngjae said. “I was right that this bracelet is an expensive one.”
“Ahh. Haha. Yeah it looks like it is expensive.” Mark said.
Flight XUSH217 to Japan will be on boarding.
The announcer told them. So GOT7 immediately stood up and went inside the airplane.

Rhianne’s Place
I’m so excited for today. I’m going to be a part of 6mix’s music video. Well, just a few part of it. But still, I’m going to meet C, Jisoo and Minyoung today. Ooooh, I really missed them.
After the gym training, I rested for a while and took a bath again and immediately went to the shooting area. When I arrived there, 6mix were already preparing for the shoot.
“Annyeong haseyo!” I told the staffs and other people there. They also greeted me back.
“Rhiannnnneeee!” C immediately came and hugged me.
“You look so beautiful C.” I told her.
She tapped me, “Yah, why are you making me feel flattered?”
“I am not making you feel flattered. What I say is true.” I said.
C smiled at me, “Awww. Thank you Rhianne!”
The make-up artist approached me so that she’ll be able to put some make-ups on me. After applying the make-up, we immediately started to film their MV. I am so proud that I was a part of it even just for a few seconds.
6mix really prepared for this. You can really see their effort in singing and dancing as well. They’re really working hard. I hope people will also support 6mix.
*ring**ring*
My phone was ringing.
“Hello?” I said.
“Rhianne-a” it’s manager unnie.
“Oh, yes?” I said.
“Wait for me there. I’ll be fetching you and we’ll go together to the pictorial.” she said.
“Okay.” I said.
After the shooting here, I have another shooting together with 15&. It’s for our upcoming album. I waited for manager unnie to arrive. About half an hour, she arrived and then we went to the shooting location. I wasn’t able to say goodbye to my friends because they were still busy filming.
While we were in the van,
“Aren’t you tired, Rhianne? I mean, you have a lot of schedules today. You haven’t even debuted yet.” Manager unnie said.
Am I tired? Naaah.
“Nope. I’m not tired. Actually, I really love doing these things. So everything is fine with me.” I said.
“It’s a good thing to hear that.” manager unnie said. “A lot of trainee backed out because of harsh training. But I’m so proud that you managed to overcome those things and working hard to fulfill your dreams.”
I smiled with what manager unnie said, “It’s really my dream, I will really work hard for it.”
“Even if your parents disagree with it?” she asked.
“Sometimes, you gotta cover your ears and try listening to yourself.” I said. “I’ve followed them all my life. I guess, now, it’s time to follow my heart.”
“You’re really something.” she said.
I just smiled at her.
We arrived at the shooting location. When I arrived, Jimin and Yerin were already there. They started to put make-ups on me again.
Huhuhu. My poor skin, I’m going to have a lot of acnes because of the make-ups but good thing Korea has these skin clinics to help me maintain my skin and made me even whiter. Yiiie. haha.
We started to have the picture taking. Our theme was of course about Christmas. We’re wearing something with green, red, some touch of blue and silver. It’s only October and yet I can feel Christmas is already coming!
Jimin was so cute with her dress and Yerin, woah, she’s just as gorgeous as ever. Together with her blue hair, I can really see Christmas in her. Haha.
After the pictorial, we went to the dorms to rest.

GOT7
After hours of trip, they finally arrived at Japan. When they were on the airport, a lot of fans were waiting for them. They started screaming the moment they saw GOT7. Good thing, there were guards to protect the boys.
They immediately went to the hotel that they will be staying. JB, Jackson, Mark and Youngjae were together in the room and Jinyoung, Bambam and Yugyeom were together on the other room.
They unpacked their things.
“It’s really tiring! Wooh. But I am so excited with our debut here.” JB said.
“Yeah! Our fans here in Japan were really something. I’m glad I went here.” Jackson said.
Youngjae and Mark were just quiet there, agreeing to them.
Mark suddenly took his phone. “There’s a wifi here right?”
JB nodded.
Mark immediately posted something on twitter.

Arrived at Japan! Soo tired. I hope everyone’s doing well.
“I hope she will reply.” Mark said.
“Who? Rhianne?” Jackson asked.
JB and Youngjae looked at Mark.
“Yeah, I want her to reply. I kinda miss her already.” Mark said.
“But hyung, you have Rhianne’s bracelet.” Youngjae said. “She’s still with you.”
Mark looked at the bracelet. “Uh yeah. She’s with me.”
“She gave the bracelet to you?” JB asked.
Mark shook his head, “We just exchanged things. I’m going to return it to her the moment we comeback to Korea.”
“Take care of it. It may be important for her.” JB said.
After that conversation, JB took his phone out and then he started to become a little sulky.
“What’s wrong hyung?” Youngjae asked.
“There’s just something I remembered, Youngjae. Never mind me. I’ll just go outside. I need some fresh air.” JB said.
JB went out while Jackson, Mark and Youngjae were looking at him.
“What’s JB’s problem?” Jackson said.
“I don’t know.” Mark said. “Do you know Youngjae-a?”
Youngjae just kept quiet.
“Youngjae-a, do you know something?” Jackson said.
“I don’t know hyung. But I guess something happened. Someone might texted him. He will not be like that for simple things.” Youngjae said. “It’s maybe because of…”
“…because of a girl.”

Everyone from GOT7 was rehearsing on the stage they’ll be debuting before the main program. From the outside, fans were already waiting there. Some prepared a lot of fan chants, some prepared banners. You can really see that they really want GOT7. For a rookie boy group, it’s really something.
“JB.” Mark said.
JB looked at him.
“Are you alright? Did something happen?” Mark asked.
JB smiled at Mark. “No need to worry about me. Everything is under control.”
“Is it about a girl?” Mark asked.
JB looked at him so surprised, “A girl? Who told you that?”
Mark looked at Youngjae and pointed at him.
“Ei, Youngjae-a. Tsk. It’s not real. It’s not about a girl.” JB said.
Mark put his arms around JB’s shoulder, “Just tell me if you have that kind of problem. I’ll give you a brotherly advice. Haha.”
JB just smiled and they continued practicing.
“Oh Mark, by any chance, if you were given these options what will you choose?” JB said.
“What options?” Mark asked.
“A friend, or the one you like?” JB asked.
“Uhhh.” Mark said. “That’s kinda hard but I think, if Rhianne will be the girl here, I’ll choose her than my friends. Haha.”
“Thanks.” JB said.
“So it’s really about a girl?” Mark said.
“Nah, it’s about a friend.” JB said.
“Okay fine.” Mark said. “I’ll just keep quiet.”
Then Mark tapped JB’s back and practiced again.
Hours later, they prepared themselves and the fans started to enter the auditorium and then the program started.

Rhianne’s place
I wonder what they are doing now. I guess, they’re so busy preparing for the debut program.
Suddenly, I saw Mark’s cap. Ooh, he asked me to wear it until he comes back. So I immediately put it on. I hope Mark will take care of that bracelet, cause I will take care of this too.
I don’t know who gave that bracelet but still, I should treasure it. Plus, it looks so expensive and like it was personalized. There were even initials written there. What again are the initials?
Think. Think. Think.
Ah. It’s BJL. I wonder who that BJL is.
“Unnie!!!!” Jimin immediately entered my room. “Dream High 3 teaser is out!”
So I immediately went out of the room to watch it. When I saw my face,
“Yah, I feel so embarrassed with that.” I said.
“Nah, you’re beautiful unnie.” Yerin said. “Do I really look like a meany one?”
Jimin immediately answered, “Yes! You really look like a very mean one.”
Yerin immediately hit Jimin. “Yah!”
Then we burst out into laughter. It’s fun being with them.
“Taehyung looks so handsome there.” Yerin said.
“You like Taehyung already?” Jimin teased Yerin.
“I said, he was handsome. I didn’t say that I like him.” Yerin explained.
“Fine. Fine. Fine.” Jimin said.
I love this two. I really love them.
“Uhh.” Yerin said.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Is that Mark oppa’s cap?” she said.
I touched the cap and smiled. “Yes. We exchanged thing that’s all.”
Yerin frowned. “I hate Mark oppa. He won’t let me wear that and you, he’s giving you that? Unfair.”
I suddenly removed the cap and put it on Yerin.
“Don’t worry. Mark won’t know.” I said.
Then Yerin smiled while wearing the cap. She’s really cute with it.

GOT7 debut
“Are all the lights ready?” the staff said. “How about the music? Okay?”
You can see that everyone is already in a hurry because in a few minutes, the debut showcase will start. Staffs started to run in places while fans continue to cheer for GOT7.
At the backstage…
“You’re going to wear that?” Jackson asked Mark.
Mark was wearing Rhianne’s bracelet.
“Yeah, so, she’s still with me even during performance.” Mark said.
“I never thought that Mark is this sweet.” Jackson hugged Mark. “Hahahahaha”
And here comes the bluff guy.
“Okay everyone! Let’s do our best! Good luck!” JB said.
One by one they started to put their mics on and then they prepared themselves for the performance. During the start of the performance, they sang the song Jun.K composed entitled, “So Lucky”
Every fan started to scream as loud as they can the moment GOT7 came out of the stage. They performed different songs. The showcase took almost 2 hours or maybe even more.
After 2 hours, it’s time for them to say goodbye to their fans.
“WE LOVE YOU!” JB shouted.
Then the whole GOT7 bowed down.
After the performance, fans started to go out already and the staffs started to clean the auditorium. GOT7 went to the backstage.
At the backstage…
Mark was looking so freaked. He’s walking back and forth looking up and down.
“Yah Mark hyung, why are you like that?” Jinyoung said.
Mark paused for a while.
“Has anyone seen the bracelet?” Mark said.
Mark was looking for the bracelet. He looked on the tables, under the tables, inside the cabinets, but the bracelet was nowhere to find.
“What bracelet hyung?” Bambam said.
“Rhianne’s bracelet.” Mark said.
“You lost Rhianne’s bracelet?” JB exclaimed.
“I know I was wearing it. But now, I can’t find it.” Mark said as he continued to look for the bracelet.
Youngjae looked at JB then he looked at Mark. “I’ll help you find it hyung.”
All of them started to look for the bracelet. Mark even went to the stage to look for it but he still can’t find it.
“You should have not worn it.” JB told Mark.
“I know. I know.” Mark said as he was still looking for it.
“Hyung, maybe a fan got it during the times when we were shaking hands with them.” Yugyeom said.
“Ah yes, maybe that happened hyung.” Jinyoung added.
“Impossible. It can’t be easily removed from my hand.” Mark said.
They started searching again.
It’s almost an hour, but no bracelet was found. Jackson put his arm around Mark, “Just say you’re sorry and didn’t mean to lose it. She’ll probably understand.”
Mark removed Jackson’s hand and took a deep breathe.
“sigh” that’s the only thing Mark said.
“Everyone, let’s go now to the hotel so you can rest. Tomorrow, you’ll be having your interview here.” Park Noh-Young said.
GOT7 started to walk towards the van while Mark was walking slowly still thinking of the bracelet.
“Rhianne will probably understand it.” Jinyoung said.
“I hope so.” Mark said.
Then they went to the hotel.
Upon the arrival at the hotel, Mark immediately tweeted.

Fans started to react and asked Mark what did he lost or some corny stuffs. But Mark didn’t pay attention to them. He is still not on the mood.
“Will Rhianne get mad at me?” he told himself. -_-
Suddenly, Rhianne replied to his tweet.

Mark immediately replied to Rhianne. His heart was beating so fast. He doesn’t know what to say to Rhianne.

From that moment, Mark suddenly became even sadder. How will he give that to Rhianne?
The next day…
GOT7 started to prepare for the interview session.
“There are some translators there just in case you won’t be able to understand what they are saying.” Park Noh-Young said. “JB, take care of the group. I trust you.”
“Leave it to me.” JB said. “Okay everyone, let’s just be real in this interview. Let the world know what GOT7 really is. We’re going to show our honesty to them.”
GOT7 started to go in circle and then they shouted their mini slogan.
“G-O-T-7!” JB said.
“Jjang!” everyone answered.
One by one they started to enter the hall. A lot of cameras started to work and now flashes are the only thing you can see. GOT7 sat down together with JYP.
“Hello everyone! Today, JYP Entertainment proudly presents the rookie boy group of the company, GOT7.” JYP said.
Applauses started to fill the hall. GOT7 stood up and bowed down to them. Then they went back to their sits.
“We’ll be handling some interviews for today. You may start asking some questions about them.” JYP said.
One reporter started to ask a question, “We have heard that GOT7 is very close with 15& and as well as the new member. How was your relationship with them?”
JB immediately took the mic. “GOT7 and 15& are like brothers and sisters. We treat each other so special that people think that we’re in a relationship with them. But the truth is we’re just so close with them since we help each other improve. And we’re not only close with them, we’re also close with the other artists of JYP.”
Another reporter asked, “Is there anyone in GOT7 who had some plastic surgeries?”
Jinyoung answered, “None. We don’t believe in plastic surgeries. We believe in the real us.”
Then Jinyoung made some handsome pose. Then Jackson tapped him and smiled at the cameras.
“A lot of fans wanted to know the answer here. Has GOT7 been in a relationship, whether in the past or in the present?” one reporter asked.
Jackson got the mic, “Some of us had past relationships of course but now, we’re not in a relationship. We are focusing first on our career and maybe sooner or later, we’ll have time for that.”
JYP smiled at Jackson’s answer.
“This is just an additional question to the last one, who was the members who have their past relationships?” another reporter asked.
JB took the mic again. “As far as I know, Mark, Jinyoung and I were the only members who had past relationships.”
“Are you still friends with them now?” reporter said.
“Due to our busy schedule, we haven’t have contacted them for a long time, I guess. But we’re still friends with them.” JB said.
“Moving on, Mark, it was rumored that you had ‘SOMEWHAT’ a feeling for your co-star and new member of 15&, Rhianne. What can you say about it?” a reporter said.
Mark looked at JYP and sighed.
“Rhianne and I are great friends. She is just a jolly person off-cam that’s why we were able to be friends with her so easily. Well, what I wanted to mean is she is a likeable person. Not only I, but all of GOT7 members likes her like what JB said earlier.” Mark said.
Bambam took the mic, “Yeah! Noona is so kind she even taught me how to answer the Math problems. But we hope that you’ll not put any meaning on it.”
Jackson whispered something to Mark, “So there’s already an issue between you and Rhianne. How did they know?”
“I don’t know either.” Mark answered Jackson.
“What are your other plans for the future? First as a group then as an individual?” a reporter asked.
JB first took the mic, “As a group, we’ll be going to work hard even more so we will not disappoint our fans. We’ll produce better music and stage performances.”
JB paused for a while.
“As an individual, I’ll work hard to be a more fruitful leader.” JB said.
“How about your relationships?” a reporter added.
“About relationships, right now, I’m not yet thinking about it. But I want to go back to the place where our family met a very kind family who helped us so much. That’s what I’m planning for the future. Friends can also be considered a relationship.” JB said.
The other members answered about their future self.
“I’ll be a more mature Bambam.” Bambam said.
“I’ll become even taller and handsome.” Yugyeom said. “But of course it’s a joke. I’ll try to learn different languages and be fluent with it.”
“I think I’ll teach kids fencing.” Jackson said.
“I’ll teach kids piano!!!” Youngjae said. “And I’ll improve my singing skills and my English.”
“I’ll be a good guy to everyone. I’ll work hard.” Jinyoung said.
And lastly, Mark.
“I want to settle at the age of 30.” he said.
A lot of them screamed when Mark told that. It means, it’s the last 9 years of his singleness.
A lot of questions started to occur; some asks about their past lives, some asks their plan for the future and etc.
After the interview session, they went back to their vans and planned to take a visit in some places in Japan.
Japan is really famous for their technologies and also their anime/manga. You can see in the stores a lot of manga books and different costumes of different anime.
“It’s Ryoma Echizen!” JB said as he was pointing to a standee. “I didn’t know Prince of Tennis is still famous right now.”
“Hyung, you know Prince of Tennis?” Yugyeom asked.
“Yes. Prince of Tennis is my favorite anime.” JB said.
JB then demonstrated the different plays in the story that made others laugh.
“Rhianne also likes Prince of Tennis.” Mark said.
“Oh really?” JB said.
Mark just nodded.
“Ah, speaking of Rhianne, I should buy souvenir for her.” Jackson said as he entered the store.
JB followed Jackson and the others as well.
Jackson was searching for a stuffed toy. “Ah look, it looks like Jimin. Hahahaha.”
The stuffed toy was like a chibi, a fat girl with an angry look.
“You like to tease Jimin so much.” Jinyoung said.
“Not really.” Jackson said. “Ooh, this one looks like Yerin.”
The stuffed toy was cute girl.
“And this one looks like Rhianne.” JB said as he was holding a cute girl stuffed toy.
“Let’s buy this for them.” Jackson said.
They went to the cashier and bought those stuffed toys.
Youngjae was just roaming around when he saw Mark looking at the bracelets there.
“You’re still thinking for that bracelet hyung?” he asked Mark.
Mark nodded. “I was thinking of replacing it, but not even one looks like that bracelet.”
“I guess it was a personalized bracelet hyung.” Youngjae said.
“Kinda, yes. It looks like a personalized one.” Mark said.
Youngjae just tapped Mark.
GOT7 then went out of the shop and roamed around more. They went to restaurants and ate some stuff. A lot of fans were there to take pictures of them. Since fans started to gather there, they decided to go back to the hotel to rest.

“And 1-2-3 go!” Kahi unnie exclaimed.
Yes we’re dancing now. -_-
“All I want for Christmas… All I want for Christmas… All I want for Christmas… Is you…” we sang it while singing it.
“Okay, let’s have a break.”
I immediately sat down. I’m too tired.
“Unnie are you alright?” Jimin asked.
“Yes Jimin, I’m alright.” I said. “It’s just that, I having a hard time breathing again.”
Jimin immediately rushed at my bag and got my inhaler.
I guess, I’m really too tired.
“Oh is Rhianne alright?” Kahi unnie said.
“I’m just tired.” I said.
“Let’s just have our practice again tomorrow.” Kahi unnie said. “And you (while pointing at me) you’re going with me to the hospital.”
What? It’s normal for me to have hard time breathing because my lungs were born weak. I’m sick with the hospital.
Not the hospital please. -_-
