" OMG !! He was that ill !! Oh That's really bad " Mum said in shocked voice as she stood up
" Yes .. And the funeral is tomorrow in the church " I said as I walked towards my window I took a glance at Danny's room then turned my attention to Mum
" Oh !! I should tell your father then .. we should go .. All of us ! yeah .. Sleep early because we will be up early okay ?!... I have to call Gina " Mum said as she got really confused and began to walk out of my room

I took My Laptop out and opened it I decided to log in My face book account and see how things are going .. The home page loaded and all the news were clear .. !! No one knew of the Death of Danny's Father !! How possible is that !! we are in The era of speed .. I opened Danny's profile and found nothing !! The very last thing he updated was that silly selfie we took together the day I helped him in the school work !! I stared at this picture for a while and found myself smiling .. I closed My laptop picked up my phone .. I was about to call Danny but I wasn't ready to hear his sad voice again so I decided to text him small text Keep the hope .. I wish you a safe night and good sleep take care of yourself ILY.. I pressed send then put my phone by my side after a few minutes I got a mess back It's I Love you not ILY .. You too :* that message was able to make me smile for the rest of the night .. I put My head on the pillow and prayed to be ready for the hard day coming next ...
" Kasey ! Seriously you have to wake up !! " I hear-ed my mum calling I just felt tired .. so tired that I put my pillow over my head to prevent the sunlight coming from my window because mum of course let the Curtains be opened " Right now ! " Mum shouted as she took away the pillow from over my head ..
" Fine !! " I said as I sat on bed half asleep
" Wear Something white " Mum said Making my eyes go really wide
" White ! IT's a Funeral isn't it !! " I said as I stood up and began to look for my slipper with one eye because the other was almost blind by the sun light .. I looked at the alarm next to the bed and found that it was six in the morning
" Yeah ! Mr McCall wanted people wear white when he die .. he said that people should be happy for him because he left that ugly world " Mum explained
" I see .. but don't you think that it's way too early !! I mean what funeral will be at six " I said as played with my messed her .. I even messed it up more ..
" We will help Gina to put candles all over the church and those stuff .. the funeral will start at Eight .. so You better go and get dressed right now " Mum ordered me then left the room and left me confused .. I wasn't able to think or do anything at all I was really tired ..
I decide to take a Quick Shower to wake myself ..I walked to my wardrobe searching for something white to wear I couldn't find anything but a White dress I have never worn before .. I took it and went to take my Quick shower .. after Taking a shower I went out passed a brush through my hair and began to search for something to wear on my feet but I was interrupted by my mother who entered the room suddenly ..
" You are n't ready yet !? " she said this like a fact not a Question
" I Just can't find something would be good by that dress " I explained looking to my feet
" wear anything Gina Is waiting for us downstairs ! " Mum ordered she was in a real hurry and seemed to be really confused .. Well I was the same
" Gina ! " I said as I raised an eyebrow
" Yeah ! Your Dad and tom will come later at eight ... so we will go with Gina " Mum said as she was about to leave .. I began to search again for any shoes to wear but mum's voice stopped me again " Can You Just hurry up !! " Mum yelled and walked downstairs
" Fine !! " I grumbled as I took out my converse and wore them .. I walked down stairs and found that mum was already outside the house she was so busy and she didn't notice that I was wearing converse with dress * Thanks God * after she put everything in Gina's car she got in Gina was already there on the driver seat ... I saw Stella walking out from her house she came closer then she hugged me and some tears came down her face ..
" It's okay " I said as I opened the car door to let her in then I got in too ..and Gina drove Immediately ..after short silence I decided to speak up
" How is Danny ? " I asked Stella in a very low voice in order not to let any of our mothers hear our conversation
" I really don't know " Stella answered me in the same tone she got my point of lowering my voice " He didn't came home since yesterday .. I kept sending massages to him he Just send me a text saying that he will be in the church today but nothing more " Stella said as she checked her phone again to make sure that Danny didn't send her any new massages .. a face of frustration was drawn on her face when she found that nothing was send by him
" He will be okay " I gave her a small smile and rubbed her back ..I wasn't sure of that but I had to raise the hope up ..
" we are here " Gina said in a week voice as she got off the car and we all did the same .. she opened the car's bag and began to empty it there were bags and boxes lots of them " Help us let that in the church " she said as she and my mother took the first box and walked with it into the church .. Stella took a small bag and walked in the church .. I tried to carry a box but it was too heavy .. Much more than I thought It would be ..
" I Think You it's a little heavy for you " I hear-ed someon's voice saying that when Hands took the box away from mine for somehow I felt that it was Danny I raised my face and saw that It was him..
" Are You okay ? " I asked him as I looked at him in the eyes
" Yeah ! Um fine " he said as he looked away .. I found a red part in his face !! he was injured !!
" what is that ?! " I asked him as I touched him and he made a sound of pain
" Nothing " he said as he put the box down .. I then noticed that there was a bandage on his arm
" And What is that !! " I said I was about to touch his arm but he stopped me by holding my baby hand with his worm one
" Every time you touch that you hurt me .. It's nothing let's but those inside " he said as he carried the box again and walked inside the church .. I took two bags and walked after him
" Danny .. I missed you so much " Stella came fast and hugged her brother after he put the box down or step_brother I wouldn't call them half brother and sister because they seem more like twins * in soul * there is so much love there
"Missed you too " Danny said and slowly pushed her away he was about to go out to bring the last box when his mother stopped him
" Are you okay dear ? " she asked him
" Yeah ! Um fine " he said as he raised an eyebrow and went out ..
After taking all the boxes inside .. we opened them , all of them were full of Candles , Gina ,Stella and My mom put them all around the church , Me and Danny were supposed to light them up .. I began but then I hurt my self ..
" Watch your hand !! " Danny said as he came closer to me he turned the candle off and took my finger which was hurt and began to infuse it ... I took my hand away and gave him a serious look
" We need to talk " I said and it came out of my mouth like an order More than a request ..
" Yeah we will " he said I continued looking at him waiting for more words to came out of his mouth " Later " he said as he walked to continue the lightening thing .. he mad me so angry that I could go and punch him in the face but I just held my anger and continued lighting up the candles .. Then we began to put candles on the seats too .. Gina Said that she would like the people light up candles while praying .. I tried to talk to Danny again .. so after all the work was done .. Danny went out for some air .. I went after him and left mum Gina and Stella inside as It was still half an hour earlier before the funeral begin ..
" So ! " I said loudly as I came closer to Danny in order to get his attention
" So ? " he asked as he turned to look at me with his eyebrows up ..
" Did your money dry from yesterday ?! " What a silly Question I have just asked !! of course I didn't want to say that .. It seems that words go out of my mouth without feeling them ..
" Yeah !! I could pay for my food yesterday Fortunately " he said as he smirked but I could see pain in his yes
" You know I am here for you and I will always be here " I said as I held his hand with both mine he gave me a small smile and was about to say something when we hear-ed someone arriving with his car . .. " I think we should go inside now " I said as I heard people parking their cars
" Yeah " he said .. Both of us walked to the Church door " You First " he said letting me go fist I turned and gave him a small smile then went in and he followed me ..
After a While the church was full of people .. But none of them was Danny's friend Except Ed of course , Janie was there too except those two none from school was there !! How could no one even the teacher come !! the Priest came and said some prayers .. Every candle was Lighted up ... people were standing holding there candles .. I took around the church while the priest continued saying prayers .. I found that all women were dressed in white .. But Men where dressed in suits .. IT seemed that we were in a weeding not a funeral ... I couldn't resist it but take a look at Danny .. he wasn't wearing the same chemise he was wearing a while ago .. or Maybe the same with a Suit Jacket and black Tie .. he looked so attractive .. I know I know It's not the suitable thing I should think of right now But I just couldn't help but staring at his perfection in that suit .. after the priest finished his words Everyone Just put off his candle and sat down ..then Danny requested to play something on the Church piano .. Honestly It surprised me that he could play the piano !! How Many instruments he can play !! I wonder .. he began to play something really sad .. Which mad all of us cry with heavy tears .. All The Church was affected by the music he played .. Even him I could see his tears from distance and I could feel the heat he felt ..
" I am sorry .. But Dad used to love this song " Danny said as he left the piano and turned into his place ...
" It's okay ... anyone would like to make a speech ?! " The priest said after Danny went back to his seat short silence after someone spoke up
" I would " Stella said as she stood up
" Oh please , come over here " the priest said as he handled her the microphone
" I would Like to Say .. Or tell I don't know " she said as some tears went down her face she swiped them away and after a short silence she spoke up again " Danny I want you to know That I love you and I will always be here with you Like forever .. and We all know that he is in a better place .. I love you brother " she ended her short but cute speech by a wide smile for Danny which he gave it back
" Thanks You ! For that amazing Speech .. anyone else ? " the priest asked
" Yes ! I would like to say something " Mr. Anderson ( Stella's father ) stood up .. Danny looked at him with hatred .. That look made me feel afraid of him!!!
" Yes please " The priest gave him the microphone and Mr. Anderson began to speak
" No Deny That losing Someone special Like McCall Was something Really Difficult for all of us " he seemed too be so affected that he stopped for minute or something then spoke again " I want to tell Danny That losing the father something hard .. and I know that because I lived that experiment before .. But I really would like that If Danny considered me his Father "
ِas soon as Mr. Anderson said this Danny stood up " You will never be like my father ! and Don't dream to be like him ! You are not my father .. You are Just the man Mum is married to " he said in his loudest voice that every single person in the church looked at him in surprise ! Voices were up and Danny Quickly left the church .. Ed went after him .. and so did I .. when I came outside I just could hear Danny Saying " leave me alone " and the sound of his motorcycle as he derived away really fast ...
" Where is he going ! we should catch up with him !! " I said to Ed
" Just leave him he will be okay by his own .. he needs some time to think and put everything together " Ed said to me as he look sadly at the floor
" I don't understand that !! and why no one from school came !! even the teachers no one !! " I said waiting for him to say something explain that
" No one knew about Danny's real father Kasey ! Just you and me .. And Janie I told her yesterday no one else ..Danny is the popular guy yes ! Everyone knows everything about him No ! they barely know something about Danny " ED explained a he entered the church again
" OH My God .. OmG" I said as I walked slowly into the church again ..
