Ciel's POV
This morning I woke up earlier than usual and I couldn't get back to sleep. I decided to go to the garden until the sun came up. It was about 5 am and from what I could tell everyone was asleep.
The garden was so calm and beautiful in the early morning hours. The flowers and bushes danced in the wind and I felt a calmness wash over me.
Y/N POV
"____." You heard a woman say. Her voice was muffled and anxious but you still found her voice to be soothing.
"____!" There she was again. Why is she yelling now? Who's ____" You thought to yourself. You opened your eyes and immediately regretted it.
You saw a woman in a pool of blood and a man laying close by her. The woman began to crawl and reached out to when you were, desperation radiating off of her.
"____, my child,.... run... before she finds you-" She fell to the floor.
You woke violently from your dream. When you thought back to the nightmare you couldn't help but cry.
Was she my mother? Are my parents gone? Am I ____?
You couldn't fall asleep now so you looked out your window that oversees the garden to find Lord Phantomhive gazing into the night sky.
You decided to go outside and sit with him.
Might as well. I'm not going back to sleep anytime soon.
When you got there he didn't seem to notice you at all.
"Good morning Lord Phantomhive." You laughed to yourself when he jumped a little.
"O-oh good morning miss.. uh miss.."
"____. My name is ____. Well my first name is anyway. I can't remember my second name." You gave him a gentle smile. You could have sworn you saw him blush but it was too hard to tell with it being so dark out.
"____. What a beautiful name." He mutters to himself.
"Oh what was that?" You jokingly say and you chuckled to yourself. His cheeks became a cherry red.
"W-what?! No! I-I just mean that it's nice to finally know what to call you." He looked away in embarrassment.
"Yes of course. So what are you doing out here my Lord?"
"Ciel." He said softly.
"What?"
"Call me Ciel," 'What a lovely name' you thought to yourself. "And to answer your question, I'm out here because I couldn't sleep." He was gazing up at the moon. His visible blue eye twinkled in its light and you couldn't help but stare. "So Lady ___ why are you here? It's too cold to be out." He looked back to you and you shook your head.
"Bad dream," you looked into his gaze "and if it's so cold out here then why the hell are you here?" You playfully added.
"Well my Lady I came prepared with a blanket but you're here in a nightgown." He remarked. You didn't notice until now that you weren't properly dressed. Your face became hot as you fished for an answer.
"Um well you see-" ACHOO!
"I thought this would happen. Here you can come inside my blanket so you don't catch a cold." You nodded and sat closer to the young earl. Before you even realized it, you began to fall into a deep sleep.
