Chapter 17: Her
Katrina's POV.
"Here, I got this from my locker" I was doing my retouch when Quira went inside and hand me her PE uniform, I smiled at her before I got the shirt from her.
What Quenji said earlier keeps on repeating in my mind, how dare him to said I have change? And if I did, that was because of him!
"I can't really stand Quenji for defending her! Like gosh, talagang kumukulo dugo ko sa babaeng yon!" Naiiritang sabi ni Quira habang nag papalit ako ng damit, napailing nalang ako at hindi siya sinagot.
"She even lied? Gosh! the audacity, she's so makapal aren't she?" Quira keep on ranting, palakad lakad pa ito nang lumabas ako sa cubicle and wash my hands.
"What do you think bem? Should we-" She stopped when I interrupted
"Can we not talk about it please?" I said while wiping my hand, she went silent before nodding.
Hindi ko alam ang mararamdaman, offended, naiinis, basta, nag hahalo ang emosyon ko, his last words hits me different, how could he say that? how dare him!
Palabas na kami ng restroom nang biglang mag ring ang phone ko, agad ko naman itong sinagot, it's patricia.
*Patricia is calling;
"Hey"
"Nasa PH ako"
"WHAT? you where in what?"
"I'll send you my condo address, see yah mwuaps!"
End call*
Did I heard that right? She's here?
"Sino yon?" Quira asked.
"A friend, let's go"
Matapos ang tatlong subject ay dismissal na rin, hindi na ako nagpa alam kay Quira at umalis nalamang agad para makauwi.
"Nandito na po ang Mom niyo" bungad saakin ng maid pagka pasok ng bahay
"Si tito?"
"Hindi ko po alam" ngumiti nalang ako sakaniya bago nagtungo sa dining, saktong nandon si mom.
"Mom!" Bati ko kay mommy and then gave her a hugged
"My baby! how are you?" She asked while I'm grabbing a bread on the table as I sit besides her.
"I'm good, bakit nga pala wala si tito, mom?" Tanong ko sabay kagat sa bread
"Ow yeah, speaking of him, get ready tomorrow okay?" Napakunot agad ako sa sinabi ni mom, tinignan ko siya ng nagtataka
I got confuse why but it turns out, he want to introduce me to his few investors, I just nodded and went to my room.
I just took a bath and get dressed before I left home, pupunta ako sa condo ni Patricia.
I still don't know why is she here, we've been together for 2 years in NZ. And suddenly nandito siya which choice naman niyang mag aral sa NZ.
Minsan talaga magulo ang babaeng yon. But I love her tho.
I already arrived at her condo building, saktong pag labas ko nang kotse ay nakita ko ang dalawang pamilyar na mukha, it's Quenji and Irish, seems like kad-dating lang nila.
Napadapo ang tingin sakin ni Irish, nangunot ang noo nito pero agad din napangiti, sumulyap siya sandali kay Quenji bago binalik ang tingin saakin at halikan ito sa pisngi.
I raised my brows and smirked at her before I rolled my eyes and went inside the building.
Mag sama sila. Eh ano naman pakielam ko? Gosh! I hate their presence.
I knocked as I reach her condo unit, agad naman itong bumukas at bumungad saakin ang kaibigan ko.
"KAT! I miss you omg!" Nakangiti itong bumungad at agad akong hinila para yakapin
"Oh naka simangot ka diyan?" Nawala ang ngiti nito at napatingin sa kamay ko, napatingin din ako at napagtanto naka kuyom pala ang fist ko.
"Wala, mainit lang sa labas" Sambit ko at agad dumiretso sa kusina para uminom ng tubig, sumunod naman agad siya.
"Anyway, I will be staying here for good" bungad niya habang nag sasalin ako ng tubig sa baso
"Interesting" Iyon nalang ang naisagot ko habang umiinom
"Bakit parang ayaw mo naman ako dito! Kaya nga ako umuwi kase na miss kita! Sa FU pa ako nag enroll para sundan ka! Such a bad friend!" Reklamo nito at tinalikuran ako
"Walang laman ang fridge mo, nagugutom ako" Sambit ko pag katapos mag hanap ng makakain
"What do you expect? Kad-dating ko lang here" Sagot niya sabay umirap
Anyways, dahil gutom din ako ay inaya ko siyang mag grocery, I called Quira too, to join us, I want to introduced Patricia to her.
Patricia has been a good friend to me, she's sweet, humble, and very angelic, pero maingay.
I remember when I first went to University in Auckland, No one bullied me but I can sense that they don't like be either, they just attempt to talk to me when it's related to school works, I just have my self to accompany not until she came, I felt comfortable around her, and she told me, I was her first friend, she never had chance to have a friends because her parents won't even allow her to hang out with someone, until she decided to live in NZ to be independent away from her family.
From the moment I saw her, I knew she was something special. Both Quira and her is very important to me.
"What took you so long?" Reklamo ko nang maka pasok si Quira sa kotse ko, sinundo na muna namin siya.
"Duh, you just rush me to say na aalis tayo!" She responded then rolled eyes
"Anyway, Hello! I'm Quira, Katrina's Best friend!" Quira introduced her self to Patricia
I laughed at my self when I realized that they both have the same vibes, Parehong maingay.
"Omg! Hello! I'm Patricia! I've heard a lot from you!" Nakangiting sambit naman nito
"OUCH!" Agad akong napatingin kay Quira ng masama nang hampasin ako nito sa likod, Abnormal talaga!
"Ang kapal ng face mong i-backstabbed ako! I feel betrayed! Akala ko ba-" hindi nito naituloy ang sasabihin nang siya naman ang hampasin ko
"Pinag sasabi mo!" Singhal ko sakaniya, umakto pa itong naiiyak.
"Living proof!" Sabay turo nito kay Patricia "She just told me! You've been making kwento about me!" She said while raising her brows, Patricia just laughed at us.
"Never mind" Iyon nalang ang naisagot ko and then started my car.
"What kind of a friend-" Hindi nito naituloy ang sasabihin nang ipaharurot ko ang kotse ko paalis ng bahay nila.
