CHAPTER FOUR

"So, how did you two meet?" Sooyoung asked as her and Taeyong sat on the grass of the football field, both of them sheltering themselves in the shade of a tree as the other students in their gym class were playing soccer
"It was around 3 years ago, We had just started high school, And she was my seat mate for almost all of my classes, and that's how we eventually became really close friends"
"I used to be a very problematic kid growing up, and I couldn't even control my powers or my demon. My sister used to get picked on by some guys that were upperclassmen. I got into a fight one day with them because one of the guys tried to take advantage of her and I couldn't stop. At that point I was already shifting to my demon form and it was hard for anyone to stop me, even my sister or other Demons, they couldn't get me off of him until Seoyun came and pulled me away from him without caring if I hurt her and she hugged me really tightly. She was crying and soon started to curse me out for fighting" Taeyong said as he chuckled sadly, looking down at his lap
"She was the only person that wasn't afraid of my true form and was the only person to have that much control over me, She was my friend and soon became my first love, So cliche isn't it?" Taeyong said smiling sadly as he looked at Sooyoung, who shook her head
"It isn't, it sounds like you two were really in love" Sooyoung said smiling as he nodded, his smile dropped though and his eyes became cold
"I knew I was, but I wasn't sure about her, maybe at the beginning" Taeyong said lowly
"What made you think that she didn't love you towards the end?" Sooyoung said as he shook his head, raising it and meeting Sooyoung's stare
"I don't think I should even say what happened, you already have a pretty little image of Seoyun placed in your mind of what type of person she was and I don't want to tarnish that now that she's gone" Taeyong said as he stood up and reached his hand down to help Sooyoung get up
"After coming to school, I've realized that i didn't even know what type of person my sister was but if this is what makes you comfortable than so be it" Sooyoung said nodding understandably as she put a hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile, reassuring him that it was okay
"Thank you for understanding, and sorry for assuming that you'd be anything like your sister, I can see now that even if you two look alike, you two are drastically different" Taeyong said as he smiled widely and grabbed her hand softly, as she nodded and smiled down at their hands
"Thank you for talking to me, and I hope we can become friends" Sooyoung said as Taeyong nodded and chuckled, the bell rung and the two walked together to the cafeteria
"Ohh, it seems like we haven't met before; Hi, I'm haechan and this is mark" A boy with brown hair and a pretty tan had went up to them as soon as Sooyoung and Taeyong stepped into the cafeteria
"Couldn't you just wait until we got to the table to introduce yourself, Haechan?" Taeyong said chuckling and rolled his eyes playfully at the grinning boy
"You know Haechan, he isn't patient" Mark whispered as he greeted Sooyoung with a small bow and Haechan did the same
"Sorry that he bombarded you" Mark apologized as Sooyoung shook her head and smiled
"It's no problem and I'm Sooyoung by the way" Sooyoung said, shaking her hands reassuringly and chuckling
"Nice to meet you, Sooyoung"
They all walk to the table and she seen that Jisun was sitting there and went to sit next to her.
"Wanna go with me to get lunch, Jinsoul usually comes with me but she seems to be a little late at the moment" Jisun said as Sooyoung nodded and they both went to get their lunch
They get their lunch and Sooyoung was busy having a coversation with Jisun, who had warmed up to Sooyoung by now.
They were walking back and Sooyoung was somehow distracted that someone "bumped" into her, making Sooyoung fall to the ground.
"Watch where you're going, idiot"
