I drove back home quietly, thinking about what just happened. It seemed like every mile stone of our relationship happened in that hotel lobby, First kiss, stared dating, and he just told me he loved me. No guy had ever told me that (Besides my family but that doesn't count). I got home and everybody gave me a hug, Drew being so exited he could barely stand it. I told Maddie I had something to tell her, we met in my room.
"Harry just said he loved me" I said to her.
"oh my gosh! did you say it back?" Maddie asked.
"Ya" i said smiling
"aw how sweet!" She said "you two should totally get married"
"Ha maybe when were older" I said going into the kitchen for dinner, she was walking behind me.
"No now!" She joked around
We all met in the kitchen for dinner (pizza) and ate while I was asked more questions about my night mostly by Matt and Dylan. "Where did you sleep" (i didn't tell them cause they'd freak) or "Did you eat". One thing I forgot to mention was that I had mild anorexia. Which means sometimes I think I am way to fat and to deal with it I just stopped eating. My family found out when I was 12, I was in the hospital for a few days cause I was so dehydrated and hadn't eaten anything in a few weeks. Even though I had gotten better my family still watched out for me (especially my brothers).
After dinner I went straight to bed after that. I wasn't feeling that good, I took some nutella and watched interviews of one direction on my laptop.
I woke up and I had a aching pain in my stomach. "MOM!" I yelled she rushed into my room,
"Whats wrong sweetheart" She sat on my bed and looked at me with her sweet eyes
"I don't feel good, my stomach hurts and my head is pounding" I said
"Okay, do you want to stay home today?" She asked and I nodded. She got off my bed and left the room, I text ed Harry I wasn't feeling good and wasn't going to school today. Then I remembered. CRAP! It was that time of the month, great. Harry was over at my house in a matter of minutes. Wow. How did he do that. He rang the bell and my mom came to get it (I could hear it all from my room)
"Hey Harry, do you want to see Kassey." My mom asked him.
"Yes, Please" Harry said , I could almost see him starting to blush.
He walked into my room with a huge teddy bear, and a box of chocolates. Tacky I know, but sweet. "Hey Love, what going on?" He asked me
"I think I am getting my period" I told him, he nodded and hugged me. I slept on and off all day, but when I woke up Harry was there. The showed me some pictures of the boys on his phones and the best interviews on line. He showed me one where this lady looked for phones on the boys while they were cooking and found Louis phone it just so happened Louis was getting a interesting text. They hated that lady. I stared to feel better but Harry stayed with me all day long. I didn't want the day to end. Harry made me lunch and we ate outside on our picnic table in the backyard. I was feeling about 90% better and had a great day with Harry. Once everyone got home from school, Harry said goodbye, kissed me and left.
The next few weeks repeated them selves, just Harry and I. I went to school, got out and drove to the lake with Harry. Sometimes we went back to the house to get bathing suits and we went swimming. Sometimes we took Drew. Sometimes we just sat and stared at the beauty of the lake. We grew closer and closer. I had only 2 weeks till I graduated. The boys left to go on their tour and I felt completely empty. I text ed Harry all I could and we video chatted every weekend. But it wasn't enough I missed him like crazy. I missed all the boys. My dad did call sometimes and it helped get my mind off the boys and the tour. Talking to my dad was the best thing ever, he could call one day, then call again next week, or he could call one day and not call again for months. It was really unpredictable. They guys missed me too they often called just to ask me some stupid question that they should know the answer to. We sometimes played truth or dare over webcam, but it wasn't the same.
Graduation Day came. They boys were away missing me and I was missing them. I put on the white dress I got and my cap and gown over it. I looked in the mirror, I didn't see the same girl I saw last year. I had met Harry and gotten even stronger. I know longer felt like everything in my life just sucked. It was better now, I was done with school and I was going to move on. Maybe Maddie was right, maybe Harry and I would get married. Maybe we would have kids together maybe?
I drove myself to the graduation, my family followed behind me by an hour. When I got there there were tons of people all with the same caps and gowns as me. We all stood in line waiting to be called up. The guest came and sat down. I saw my family then I saw someone sitting next to them, actually a few people. I looked closer and everyone waved at me. The boys! I smiled big and waved back. I looked into Harry's sparkle green eyes and he blew me a kiss.
I graduated, I was all done, it was over! I never had to go back. I ran outside to meet my family, and see they boys. I looked around, but they saw me first. A group of 11 people came running towards me. "AH" I screamed. They boys wrapped me in a HUGE hug and Harry gave me a long kiss. "How did you get here?!" I yelled at Harry.
"Secrets" He smiled and I gave him a fake punch in the arm. That boy and secrets. I hugged each boy, then drew, they my family. My mom cried, Maddie hugged the boys and the boys hugged Claire.I didn't want this moment to end. We went out to lunch after the guys signed some stuff for the girls at my school for graduation. We sat and ate lots when we were done Harry and I went to the lake.
When we were there he stood close to me and hugged me. "Kassey" He asked me.
"Yes" I said still hugging him. He let go and got down on one knee. Oh my god.
"Kassey, He held out a small blue box, will you take this promise ring from me." he opened the box witch held a gorgeous ring with 2 hearts in the middle. I smiled and nodded. I was afraid if I talked I would cry. Even though I was better at crying when I needed to now, I still didn't like it. He slipped the ring on my finger and and kissed me. We broke it and I smiled, "Thank you Harry." I said while cuddling with him.
"I didn't do anything, you did, you took my heart and ran away with it" He said smiling at me.
"Well thank you for letting me" I joked around with him.
"I didn't have a choice!" He smiled and I giggled. "Oh and I almost forgot, Kassey, guess what?"
"Are you pregnant?" I asked him smiling, Addison used to say that to me all the time.
"What? No" He said "The boys and I have declared the rest of the tour a girlfriend trip too, and Paul said it was okay as long as it didn't interfere with our music time."
"REALLY?!" I asked I couldn't believe it! I was shocked. That meant 6 months I didn't have to miss them.
"Yep, Niall new one is coming too" Harry said smiling, I giggled.
"Have you met her yet?" I asked him.
"Only over a webcam, but she seems very Niallish" Harry said I laughed and we started to walk back to the car.
The boys all slept at my house (apparently my mom had know for as long as the boys had). Drew and Louis also had a bond growing. Harry said it was because they had the same maturity level. Drew actually liked all the boys about the same, expect Harry, he LOVED Harry. Liam was helping my mom with dinner again (suck up Liam), Harry was helping Maddie perfect her cartwheel while I watched, Zayn was helping Claire with her drawling, and my brothers where getting to know Niall. My brothers had been doing pretty good with not threatening to kill the boys if the did something bad to me, I was proud. Drew was playing tag with Louis and Drew was winning. I didn't want this moment to end. We sat together and helped Maddie with her cartwheel. Harry was a good teacher, Maddie learned in no time how to do a perfect cartwheel. I had a small feeling she already knew how.
At dinner my brothers did great with the other guys. They joked around and they actually like most of the same music, of course one direction wasn't my brothers favorite,but they did like the fray and the wanted. They even pretended to be fans of Justin Bibier for me.
After dinner Harry and I took Drew to the lake to burn some energy. We played in the water for a while, then we all went out to ice cream together. I held Drew up on the counter so he could see. The waitress told me my son was adorable. Harry's eyes got big, but i just said thank you and moved on, then smiled at Harry. We got our ice cream and laughed about it.
"Why did she think I was your son?" Drew asked me.
"I guess cause I am old enough to be your mom and we look alike." I told Drew who giggled
We finished up eating and went back to the house. Drew fell asleep in the car again, but this time Harry carried him inside.
The boys were all crying while watching toy story, even my brothers. Oh god what have I done to them. "I never looked at it that way" Matt said while sobbing and nodding at Liam. Harry smiled and took Drew to his room then came into mine with me. We went on twitter together and answered some tweets. I made Harry follow a few fans just cause I know what its like for someone so famous to know you exist.
We all fell asleep were we where, Harry on the floor of my room, Niall, Zayn, Liam, and Louis on the couches and chairs and my brothers on the floor. Everyone finally seemed to like each other, thank god. I thought for sure my brothers were going to scare the boys with threats about me and death comments. My brothers didn't like any guy I knew, they didn't like my guy friends, my old boy friend they hated and they had a darn good reason to. I woke up in the middle of the night, and just laid there thinking about the last few months. I never thought I would even get a boyfriend, better yet Harry Styles! I never thought I would feel this way about myself, stronger. I used to strong to, but in a bad way, I hid from stuff I didn't like. Now I could cry, though I didn't ever feel like it, now my anorexia symptoms were going away and I felt better. Drew was happier than ever, he knew his dad was gone but he didn't cling like he used to, he still wanted to be with me but no as badly anymore. Maddie and Claire used to cry every night when dad went anyway, but now they seem to be doing great. Even my mom seemed happier, he had even more energy than she did and it seemed like the smile on her face never went away.
I got up and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, to my surprise I saw a glow from the dinning table. I walked in slowly and saw Liam on his laptop talking to fans about how late it is and where they are and why and that all the girl friends were coming on tour with them and he was exited. I got a glass of water and sat next to him in the dinning room.
"Liam, you should go to bed" I told him sounding more like a mom than planned
"But Mommy" He begged me
"Fine but only 15 more minutes" I joked with him and he did a little happy dance. We both talked to the fans for a while till it got boring and the fans stared to leave. He closed it and smiled at me.
"What are you doing up?" He asked in his investigator voice
"Couldn't sleep, what about you?" I asked him
"Same" He looked down at my hand "Do you like the ring" He asked smiling his Liam smile.
"I love it" I whispered smiling back at him. "Liam, what are the other girls like?" I had to know, I felt like I wasn't anything like them.
"They are all different, Danielle dances and shes soft and good with kids, but a little stubborn nice though, Eleanor is nice, shes relaxed and doesn't really care about what happens, shes funny, shes the girl verison of Louis, Perrie is a sweetheart, Zayn spoils her rotten, like we all do, shes a cutie and very nice also, I haven't really met Hannah that well, just a webcam, but she seemed nice too. Why do you ask?" Liam asked me
"I just feel like they a mile away from where I will ever be" I said looking at my hand and playing with my ring.
"Oh stop being silly, the girlfriends have already heard about you, and if you really want to know they think your gorgeous and absolutely amazing for Harry, and they are dying to meet you" Liam told me while he smiled
I knew I was blushing but it was dark in the room so Liam could see, "Liam, thanks" I said and walked back to my bedroom and went to sleep.
I woke up by Drew's footsteps running around the house. Harry was still sleeping and I threw a pillow a him and woke him up. He mumbled something and rolled over. I got up and walked into the hallway to see Louis running around screaming "WHERE ARE YOU!!" I guessed they were playing hide and seek. It seemed Drew was winning again. I walked into the kitchen where my mom and Liam were making breakfast together (still a suck up).
"Shes alive!!" Zayn yelled, I glared at him. "Wheres Harry" he asked
"Guess" I said sitting down a pouring lucky charms.
"still?" Niall asked and I nodded. Drew came in and sat in my lap while he picked the marshmallows out of the lucky charms. I laughed and tickled him.
"Do you guys have anything carrot themed in this household?" Louis asked my mom and she shook her head slowly while walking away. Bad answer mom.
"WHAT DO YOU BLOODY MEAN YOU HAVE NO CARROTS, HOW DO YOU LIVE!! OH MY GOD LIAM WILL YOU TAKE ME TO GET CARROTS PLEASE!!!!!???" Louis had a tantrum in my kitchen.
My mom stared while Liam immediately got up and picked Lou up and carried him to a chair in the living room and sat him in it.
"Sit here for 5 minutes and don't get up, think about what you have done then i will think about taking you to the store okay?" Liam said
"Fine" Lou said crossing his arms.
I could help but smile at Liam's daddy ways with Lou.
We finished eating and after 5 minutes Liam went to get Lou, "Are you ready to be calm now?" He asked Lou who nodded and they walked to the car to get carrots. Harry finally got out of bed at 12 in the afternoon. We all went out at about 3 to do some shopping cause we had to leave to go on tour tomorrow morning. We got a endless supply of microwave meals and carrots, some new clothes and 10 Nerf guns for everyone to protect themselves. Okay we actually planned on beating up Paul on day with Nerf guns.
We got home and the other lads packed but Harry and I took Drew to the lake on last time for a while. Drew and I had never been apart for so long before. I was worried about him, and me. We played with Drew longer than we ever had before than went out for ice cream. While we ate I tried to explain to Drew that I was going away and wouldn't be back for a while, but I will be back.
His little lip quivered "You mean you and dad are going away at the same time" A tear came down his little eye and I hugged him n one side while Harry hugged the other.
"Hey buddy, I will be back, it wont be like dad, I will call every night and I know I will." I said about to cry myself.
"But Kassey, I don't want you to go" Drew said and I broke down tears running down my face. Harry didn't know what to do, he sat there hugging Drew till he calmed down
"Drew, I know don't cry, please Drew" I hugged him and he stopped.
"Kassey, what if you get hurt like daddy?" He asked me. I stopped my thoughts
"Drew what do you mean, Daddy didn't get hurt hes just fine." I said hoping I was right.
"But everyone says he could get hurt" Drew said looking up at me, then it clicked no one ever really told Drew why daddy went away he just heard bits and pieces from out family, he must think that when ever someone goes away they could get hurt and that's why he was so clinging.
"Drew, our daddy does something not a lot of daddy's do, he fights in the war that's going on, he is in the army, hes brave and not everybody does that, and when he goes away, he could get hurt, but when mommy or Matt, or Dylan, or Claire, or Maddie or me go away it doesn't mean we are going to get hurt." I had become a crying mess by now.
"But how do I know how long your going to be gone" Drew asked me with tears still in his eyes
"Well Drew I will tell you, like I did, I wont ever leave without you knowing, even when I go to school I give you a kiss before I leave right, so you know I am leaving for the day and that I will be back soon" I explained to him. He thought for a little and smiled at me. I never felt so happy to see that smile of his. Than it stopped "I don't want daddy to get hurt" I said while he ate his ice dream that was now more like soup.
"Neither do I but we have to have faith that our dad will come back safe and for the past 20 years he has and I have a feeling he isn't doing to much action right now." I told him, I wasn't sure if he understood completely, but he got the point.
We got in the car and took Drew by target to get him a toy before we went home. A coincidence he picked a Nerf gun. We looked around and Harry got a fake toy cat that made noise like a cat and looked real. It was kind of creepy but he got it anyway. We told Drew that when we got home to go and shoot all the boys with his new toy. I opened it and he got ready for action.
When we walked into the house it was quiet and dark, I turned the light on and all the other boys shot us with their Nerf gun until they saw Drew had one too then they gained up on Drew. We finished off our Nerf gun fight and all of us (including Drew) fell asleep on the floor of the living room watching Love Actually (Harry's pick).
