Here's the chapter as I promised...
Thalia's Pov
I couldn't help but smirk as I turned around. There was only one entity I knew who could shoot that many arrows in so little time (she could shoot more in less too) and well... the pink arrows are a dead giveaway.
Turning around I found myself facing a short pink girl who was grinning at me, Arrow, my beloved sister, one of the few people who I got so closed to during my time in Paradise, who knew almost if not everything about me... I took a quick look at Artemis, since it was her arrows that the guardian had split. She didn't look mad (well... maybe a little), just confused and surprised...
Arrow (flinging herself on me as she hugged me): THALS!!! I missed you!!!
Me (laughing): I missed you too, little sis...
Arrow (frowning): How am I little when I'm about millennium years older to you???
Me (grinning): You can't exactly be my big sis if you're so small, now can you???
Arrow: HEY!!! I was born this way!!! I can't change that!!!
Artemis: You know each other???
Me (smiling): This is Arrow, one of Serenity's many guardians...
Artemis (nodding): Ohh... And why did she shoot at my arrows... And how could she have done that???
Arrow: I'm sorry but when I saw you all having a competition, I couldn't help myself!! Being the guardian of Archery and all it comes naturally for me, see a competition, start firing arrows...
Artemis: But how did you shoot that many arrows in only thirty seconds??? Neither I nor Apollo can do that!!!
Arrow: Apollo??? Ahh!!! You're both the god and goddess of archery, right??? Well, it's obvious I'd be better than you, isn't it???
Me (seeing the confusion on Artemis' face): Arrow is one of Serenity's many powers. Long time back, due to some reasons, she lost control of her powers and they were drawn out of her and given a life and will of their own. They are called the guardians of Serenity since they were formed out of her powers.
Artemis: Ohh... But that does not explain why she is better at archery...
Arrow: Mistress was the first goddess of existence, when all her powers were expelled from her body each took charge of a particular domain, in my case archery, we somewhat became that domain. So you are the goddess of archery while I am the domain itself. A part of your powers come from me. After all, mistress is the goddess of power, control and creation for a reason...
Artemis (nodding then looking shocked): Ohh that makes sense..... Wait, she the goddess of power, control and creation!!!
Arrow: You did not know?? (Covering her mouth) You cannot tell anyone!!!... Actually, it doesn't really matter. It's not like you can do anything to her either ways...
Artemis (looking at me): You don't mind me knowing all of this???
Me (smiling): Although I will not return to the hunt, I still trust you and the hunters. You won't tell Zeus and even if you do, like Arrow said; it won't matter. We are the warriors of Chaos; we are no longer scared of the gods or goddesses because even individually we can destroy you. And Ales won't exactly let you hurt her; you'd all rather just sign a death wish than want to face him.
Artemis (smiling at me): I won't betray your trust a second time. I won't tell anyone and neither will my hunters...
Me (turning to Arrow as a thought crosses my mind): But why did you come here??? To visit or do you have some information???
Arrow: Vo... Nico's boyfriend came home to relay some information and since most of the guardians are busy protecting their domains or preparing for the final battle, I agreed to deliver the news and accompany Dash who wanted to see mistress...
Me: Dash?? Where is he??
Arrow: Why on my shoulder of co....
She places her hand on her shoulder expecting to touch Dash's fur only to find that he is not there. She frantically looks around her before starting to take very deep breathes... Wait, deep breathes??? I quickly covered my ears just as she started screaming loud enough that the whole earth might have been able to hear her...
Arrow (screaming): DASH!!! YOU STUPID EXCUSE OF A RABBIT- EARED FOX!!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO LEAVE MY SIGHT!!!! GET BACK HERE SO I CAN KILL YOU, BURN YOU AND EAT YOU ALIVE!!!
I couldn't help but grin at her threat... Did she actually think that Dash would waltz up to her after hearing that threat? I could see all the campers and gods and goddesses rushing here worried. I also noticed an amused Percy and Serenity walking to the front of the crowd, along with the army. And the said fox had wrapped itself around Serenity's neck, making it seem as though she was wearing a furry blue scarf. It popped its head as it heard its name being called out again and again along with a lot of curses by an angry Arrow. Percy spoke stopping her string of curses to the fox...
Percy (grinning amused): You do realize that no one will willingly come to you when you say stuff like that, right???
Arrow (turning around to face him): Master Ales!!! I didn't notice you coming here...
Serenity (grinning): Who wouldn't come running when you scream like that??? Do you notice that all the campers and the Olympians are here???
Arrow (noticing Dash): Ahh!!! There you are you stupid fox!!! Wait till I get my hands on you...
Serenity (scratching his head with her index finger as the fox purred lovingly): He must have sensed me and run off while you were... (Noticing the target with silver and pink arrows) apparently busy shooting arrows...
Arrow (scratching the back of her neck, embarrassed): Ahahaha... I may have been a tinsy-winsy bit distracted...
Percy: Sure, just a tinsy-winsy, huh??
Arrow (trying to change the subject): I came to deliver some information!!!
Serenity: Information???
Arrow: Yes since Nico's boyfriend was sure you wouldn't send him back, he came home and gave the message hoping we'd relay it to you...
Percy (glaring at Nico who slightly flinched): Well he was right, I wasn't planning on sending Nico there any time soon...
Serenity (sighing): What's the information???
Arrow: After the battle here, Gaea sensed End retreating....
Zeus (lightning bolt appearing in his hand): GAEA!!! YOU ARE INTERACTING WITH HER??? YOU....
Serenity: Cool yourself Zeus, Gaea is good. Now if you'd not interrupt I could get the information...
Arrow (glaring at Zeus): As I was saying before I was oh so rudely interrupted, Gaea sensed End retreating to Alaska and a week or so later she had sensed him again out of Alaska. He is coming here with a bigger army, again blessed. V (looking meaningfully at Serenity and Percy who nod and motion for her to continue) managed to find a weakness of this blessed army. Each of them have a black rhombus jewel somewhere on their body, if you can find that and destroy it, the blessing will no longer remain and you can easily kill it. He also said that if you use your powers, say Thalia electrocutes the monster and destroys the jewel in the process, the monster will disintegrate.
Serenity: You mean using our powers to destroy the jewel and monster at the same time???
Arrow: Yes... Ohhh... And he also apologizes for the symbol issue and has said that his sisters have gone into hiding not before asking him to inform Jason and Ethan that they are very sorry for what they did and how they hope that you two can understand why they did it...
Jason and Ethan were about to answer when a certain annoying son of Poseidon emerged from the crowd and walked up to Arrow. The one thing that crossed my mind was, 'he's so dead...'...
Nathan (arrogantly): Why should we listen to you when you are getting the information from an enemy??? We should capture you and kill you like we should have done to that blue monster that appeared during our match (pointing to Serenity and himself). It was because of that... what was she called, Watery???... that I lost the match. That slimy cheating creep of a creature...
Each of the army members, grinning evilly, moved a step backwards after another, along with Percy, although Serenity stood where she was, giving him a killer glare which he did not notice as his back was to her. I moved backwards pushing Luke, the hunters and Artemis back, thankfully they understood and moved back without arguing. Arrow gave a look to Serenity asking for permission which Serenity nodded to...
An arrow appeared in her hand, as her eyes blazed with power, her mouth mumbling softly for anyone to hear. I knew what she was doing, cursing the arrow... I found myself moving my face forward in excitement of what was going to happen.
Arrow (emotionlessly): Nobody... And I mean nobody talks bad about my mistress or my siblings!!!
She notched her arrows and aimed at a frightened Nathan who turned to run away showing her his exposed back. After turning he found that he couldn't move. I looked at Serenity to see her eyes brown in color...
Luke: Time...
Me: What???
Luke: Serenity... She is using Time's powers to freeze his body so that he can't move... This is going to be interesting...
I smirked along with Luke, knowing it would. If there was one thing Arrow hated, it was people making fun of her family... She released her hold on the arrow letting it whiz across the air and land on Nathan's butt. She notched two more arrows and shot them, both landing on the same place. She then looked at Serenity indicating that she could release him, which Serenity did. Nathan fell to the ground, his face contorting in pain. His two friends slowly walked up to him and helped him up and to the infirmary... As they were going, Arrow spoke...
Arrow (smirking): I wouldn't pull the arrows out if I were you. They are enchanted, the more you pull the deeper it goes. Oh and don't bother with magic, they won't work... After twenty four hours the enchantment will fade, you can pull it out then...
