"Why were you absent yesterday?" I asked Fey who was missing the other day.

"I woke up late, it was like 2 pm when I got out of the bed," Fey leaned her chair on one leg, balancing it.

"Did you tell her, Aly?" Red voiced out while flipping the page of her new book.

"Tell me what?" Now, Fey was balancing a book on the tip of her finger making her looked like one of those trained dolphins balancing a ball.

"Oh, oh yea, Alice and I..." I minimised my volume.

"You and Alice what?" Fey asked again, she was still balancing on the chair.

"We're..."

"Dude, you better spit out before I throw this book on your face," she said in a serious tone.

"We're a couple." That did it. The whole foundation just fell on the ground and Fey ended on the floor with the book on top of her.

"YOU AND ALICE ARE TOGETHER?????"

Everyone in the class stopped what they were doing and looked at us in disbelief. The angered Hyde was now leaving the class while mumbling curses along the way out.

"Yea," I quietly answered, avoiding people gazes.

As always, the news spread like wildfire in school and Alice had difficulties conversing with her friends in the team.

"I'm really sorryyy!" I apologized for not shutting Fey's mouth when I had the chance.

"It's fine, actually, besides I'm happy about it," the calm Alice said.

"Eh?" Fey was dumbfounded by her bold proclamation while Alice and I were smiling like idiots at the hallway.

"Congratulations, guys!" she came over and hugged us both, getting too emotional. "Or should I say, girls?" She started to cry. "Tears of joy, these are tears of joy."

"Aww, Red," I patted her back. For the rest of the day, all four of us went out for a late lunch at a sushi restaurant and watched a movie. I was happy that Alice was getting along well with Fey and especially with Red since Red was more than welcoming, she was just like a mother who just met her son's (in this case, daughter's) future wife. XD

After sending off Red and Fey home, we decided to go Central Perk Park for a night walk under the moonlight. It was almost 11pm so there weren't many sights of people around there.

"Not bad for a first date with chaperones, huh?" I asked. We were both linking arms to one another. Ignoring unwanted looks from passersby.

"If you consider that our first date, it was more like a second date with chaperones to me," she smiled gracefully. "Then, it was not bad. Better than the first." Her body moved a little closer to mine.

"Yeah. Are you cold?"

"A little," she tilted her head in a way, I could only describe as cute! >///

"Here use mine," I took off my jacket and kept it on her before she could protest.

"You always wear this jacket almost every day in school," she lifted the piece of clothing, observing it.

"It was one of the last presents my parents gave to me before I left home," I shrugged. After my parents found out about my 'situation', they wanted to send me to a boarding school but I think they imagined visions of me 'playing' around in the girls' dorms and they dropped the boarding school topic from then on. So, I made a deal with them, I get to choose which high school I would be going and I would be living alone as long I was far away from them. In return, I won't be popping my head into the any family's gatherings or publicly display my sexual orientation to anyone. So, no facebook for me.

"Your surname does ring a bell," she thought deeply.

"Michael Leonardo Simmons, my dad and Faith Whitaker Simmons, my mom," I gave more information. Wondering if she knew them.

"Aren't they the Michael and Faith Simmons party who are running for Governor in Ohio and also a reputable All-American Christian Family quoted by the Christian Christian Magazine?"

"Umm, yeah. I'm surprise that you even know them," I raised an eyebrow for a second.

"My family are supporters of your parents' party," she nervously laughed.

"You can see why they wanted me out of the way," I smiled sadly. We found a bench ahead of us and suggested we should sit down for a while.

"I can't believe I'm meeting the Alyson Simmons the girl who was sent away to one of the European countries to further her studies in Bio-Engineering Basics at age 11," she faked a gasp. "Why are you still here in the states?'

"Don't believe a word my parents said, I was supposed to but I didn't 'cause I'm actually, right here," I explained. I had always fascinated by the subject Biology starting when my dad gave me the book when I was just six years old. I wouldn't describe myself as a child prodigy but I do admit by the time I was seven, I wrote an impressive thesis about DNA-Structure that was published internationally to universities for advanced studies. My parents were very proud of me back then that they kept encouraging me but unfortunately; when I was 9, I didn't want to study anymore; I wanted to play more and was figuring out who I was. That time was one of the bleakest moments of my life and was struggling with my sexual inclination. Hyde was also one of the problems, after schools he would try to get into the house but too bad, my parents disliked him and they didn't let him in which was one of the things I was grateful of my parents.

"I couldn't believe that we ended at the same high school," I pondered. "He must have hacked into my computer. I thought I would have lost him after moving here after 6th grade."

"To me, you guys seem to be really close," she opined.

"Hhaha," I laughed and turned into a serious note. "Not really. Hyde's a stalker and if he doesn't stop, I might call the police on him." Though, I would be lying to myself to have said that. "Nah... He's just a poor dude to even fall for me."

"Can we drop the subject? I rather talk about you instead," I grinned which made her blushed and leaned her head to mine shoulder. I wrapped an arm around her to make sure she was comfortable enough.

"What's so interesting me? I'm just a bitchy cheerleader," she snuggled a little.

"A hot bitchy cheerleader," I retorted jokingly.

"Yes, yes, a hot one," I could tell she rolled her eyes. "If it weren't for cheerleading, I'm nothing."

"You know what, you're right."

"Aly?!" she straighten up immediately, shocked.

"I'm just kidding," I pulled her close into an embrace and kissed her lips softly. To my surprise, she melted like hot butter.

"You are special, more than you know it but one thing I'm absolutely sure about is," I held her gaze for a second, "you are important to me."

"Kiss-ass~" she looked away. She started to cry again and I didn't know what I did to hurt her again. Abruptly, she turned back and reached for my face, she initiated the passionate kiss that left both of us breathless when it broke.

I was speechless for a few second. "Woah~" That was all I could say while staring at the innocent Alice in front of me who was batting her eyelashes.

"Hmmm, definitely something I never tasted before," I voiced out. "I think another try should be enough." I plunged for another kiss and it was an hour make-out sessions at the park for the both us.

"I thought you said, one was enough," Alice finally said in between breaths.

"As if I'll be satisfied by only one," I pretended to snigger. Jokingly, she stood up and paraded in front of me where after that, I pulled her on top of me. Alice leaned closer, her blonde locks fell upon my face.

"Now, I want to know about you," I murmured as if there was a secret between us. Technically, our relationship was a secret from our families. "Everything about you."

She bit her lips in reluctant at first and then bent over to my ears, spilling everything about her from her sweet pink lips. Once a while, she would brushed her lips against my earlobe, teasing but I would end up giggling at her attempts.

Alice Veronica Kessler was born on 17th July 1992. Doesn't like any type of bugs and being stuck at home with her family; her parents and her younger sister, Vickie. She loves dancing especially cheerleading and being healthy, drinking protein shakes and eating a healthy diet.

"So, you don't mind me bringing you out tomorrow at the Diner again?" I nuzzled her nose. "There are a lot of calories in fries."

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," she nuzzled back. I would said my life is complete but.

Too bad there was something in the way.

"Your phone is vibrating," Alice realized.

"Oh really?" I picked up the phone and she got off me, sitting on the bench while I take the call.

I saw the caller ID and took the call.

"Aly, where are you?" Desiree's was on the other end of the line.

"I'm with somebody," I hesitantly answered.

"Oh," [insert awkward silence here please] "Okay, I'll see you back at home then." After that, only a click sound was heard.

"Is everything okay?" Alice asked as I walked over to her.

"Yeah, everything's fine." I sighed. "Just fine."
