"Ow..." Mahogany hissed as she slowly walked down the stairs in her house.
Shereen sighed, "Maggie, you've got to stop being so damn hard-headed.".
"Mama, I'm in pain!" She huffed.
Shereen helped Maggie on to the couch and the pair of them both sighed, "Look, I've got to get to work, okay? Diana's upstairs if you need her, your plate of food is right in front of you. But if you really need something, just call me, baby." She gave her daughter a kiss on her forehead.
"Alright, mama." She gave her a weak smile.
"Have you tried contacting Kain?" Shereen folded her arms.
"I don't want to." She shook her head.
"Maggie, you're gonna have to speak to him at some point..." Shereen shrugged.
"Well, at this point of time, I don't want to.".
"You're just like your father." She shook her head and walked off.
After that whole altercation, Mahogany was rushed into hospital. Jasmine wasn't the only one doing the beatings but a few of the other girls were too. Once she was admitted into the hospital, they checked everything and didn't find anything except for a broken wrist which is now in a cast. Her back hurts but she's able to move about without any support. She stayed in hospital overnight. Kain has found out what had happened and quickly made his way over but Maggie didn't let him in. She assumed that Jasmine had told Kain about the miscarriage and he didn't tell Maggie but she got it wrong. She's the only one that Jasmine had told, Kain doesn't know anything. Now Kain is confused about the whole situation.
"Let me see what mama cooked..." Maggie sighed.
She lifted up the food cover and noticed that it was bacon, eggs, grits, bacon, pancakes, sausage and potatoes. It was a mix. Maggie smiled and reached over for the tomato sauce. It makes everything and anything taste better. After squirting it out of the bottle, she placed it down and began to slowly eat the food that was on the plate.
"Ma'am, please, could you just wait outside? I just want to talk to Mahogany alone.." Maggie's doctor said.
"Is there anything wrong?" Shereen's eyes widened.
"No, there isn't anything wrong." The doctor smiled.
Shereen left the room, "What's wrong?" Maggie said wiping a tear.
"Everything is fine, you've only got a broken wrist." She smiled, "But, there's this one other thing too." She said.
"What's wrong?" Maggie's eyes widened.
"You're 4 weeks pregnant, congratulations, Mahogany. You're going to be a mom." Doctor Jules smiled really hard.
"I'm what?" Mahogany's eyes widened as her heart began to beat really fast.
Kain on the other hand was listening to the sob story that Jasmine was trying to feed. He zoned her out and just focused on Maggie. He hasn't spoken to her in at least a week and now he knows why. He lost his second child, again. He doesn't know if his is bad luck or not but something or somebody must've cursed him. What he didn't know was that Maggie was carrying his third child. He's very lucky that she didn't lose this baby despite Jasmine and her crew stomping on her stomach. It was a miracle, it really was.
"And I'm sorry for jumping her but you've got to understand how I feels, Ka—"
"Get out of my car." He said lowly.
"Wait, what?" Jasmine narrowed her eyes.
"I ain't got all day, I've got shit to handle so come on!" He yelled.
She jumped a little and slowly made her way out of the car. Kain adjusted his seatbelt and drove off. He was driving to Maggie's house because they both needed to talk. At the hospital, he was mad. His girl was hurt and he didn't even know what state she was in. But Athena managed to send him a picture. Maggie had a busted lip and a swollen cheek with cuts on her forehead and shit. Kain wasn't able to hold her in her arms and tell her that it's all okay.
He knocked on the front door and waited a little while, "Who is it?" Daina asked.
"Open up, D." Kain looked down.
He turned around and saw Marquis and a guy that he had never seen before leaving their house, "What do you want?" Daina rolled her eyes.
"I wanna speak to Maggie." He politely asked.
"Haven't you got the message, son? She don't wanna talk to you.." Daina folded her arms.
"Aye, yo, D!" The man with Marquis yelled, "Is this nigga bothering you?" He made it towards Daina and Kain.
"No, we good." She shook her head.
"Wassup?" Kain made eye contact with Marquis.
"Wassup, Kain?" Marquis gave him a head nod.
"Oh, you're Kain? Marquis has told me all about you. Man, you're a punk for not being by your woman when she needed help. She had to rely on my brother, man." The man said before walking off with Marquis following behind.
"What the fu—? Who the fuck is that nigga?!" Kain clenched his fist.
"Martin. Marquis' older brother." Daina shrugged.
"Look, just come inside, it's too hot, man." Daina sighed.
Kain walked into the house and noticed that it was quiet, "Where is she?" He asked.
"In the kitchen..." Daina quietly pointed, "Look, when she sees you, don't expect her to be quiet. She's gonna be mad, really mad. Good luck, son." Daina said running up the stairs.
Kain sucked his teeth and began to make his way into the kitchen. He stood there, watching Maggie struggle. She was trying to reach for a glass cup in the cabinet, so Kain stepped forwards and helped her with it, making her jump.
She quickly spun around, "What the fuck, Kain?!" She said holding on to her chest.
Kain's eyes widened once he had seen her face. It was like the picture that he had seen but a little bit better. His heart literally broke into a million pieces. He looked away and so did she. He backed away letting her have her personal space. Maggie suddenly felt really weird with him being around. The thought of her carrying his baby was just weird and crazy. She didn't know what to do or what to say. She hasn't told nobody and she also doesn't plan on telling Kain.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I came to see you. I didn't know what you was mad about so I thought I'd let you cool down." He said.
"You don't know what I'm angry about?" She placed the glass cup down.
"Well, now I know why." He shrugged.
"So you didn't know why I was upset at you before?" She tried narrowing her eyes.
"No." He said truthfully.
"She's a bitch...." Maggie sighed and shook her head.
"Come here, baby.." He pulled her in for a tight hug and she started crying.
"I'm sorry for not letting you be here with me, Kain. I was hurting. I know you're super mad at me." She sniffed.
"I'm not mad at all. You got me, that's all that matters." He kissed her cheek.
Mahogany moved her face away a little and instead, gave him a kiss, "I...I love you, Kain." She looked deeply into his eyes.

Skai grabbed her duffle bag and made her way towards the door of the dressing room. She didn't see Kain in here tonight and she was hoping that she would. She just wanted Kain I see a glimpse of her dancing on stage but he wasn't here. She rolled her eyes at the thought of Mahogany but didn't stop walking. She made her way to a black car and waited for the doors to unlock. Instead, the window rolled down.
"You just gonna stand there?" The person questioned.
"Did you get my job done?" Skai asked.
"I did.".
"Well, then, well done, cousin." Skai got inside.
"I'm glad you did what I told you to do. She got what she deserved, Jasmine." She shrugged handing Jasmine over her duffle bag.
"She did. I mean, I lost my fucking baby." Jasmine opened up the duffle bag and found money in there.
"The baby was never his, bitch. You crazy and delusional." Skai scoffed.
"And your baby was never his either, so I guess we're even." Jasmine retorted.
"Don't talk about my dead child, bitch." Skai stopped and looked Jasmine dead in the eye.
"But my child is dead to—Whatever, lets just hurry up and get home. I'm tired." Jasmine rolled her eyes.
Skai sat back in her seat and pulled out her phone. She went on notes and wrote down the next plan. She then went on iMessage and messaged DP, telling him that everything that they've done is up to date.
"Let's get home." Skai nodded her head.
Mahogany's house...
Kain sat at the island, tilting his head side to side multiple times as his eyes were narrowed. He scoffed quietly to himself and stared properly, making sure that what he was looking at was correct. He hadn't have noticed it before at all. It was Mahogany. She had gotten a little thicker, that's all but it was all new to Kain. She was a little slimmer before but now, her curves were showing a little and that ass is poking out too.
I did that...I did..., he thought.
"You did what?" Maggie turned around and asked.
"Huh?" Kain snapped out of his thoughts.
"You just said 'I did that...I did...'. Was you talking to me?" She asked.
Kain noticed that he said his thoughts out loud, "I was just..." He scratched the back of his head.
"Dayummm! Maggie, you getting thick!" Daina walked into the kitchen with popcorn in her mouth.
"What?" Maggie looked down at what she was wearing.
"Kain. You did that, my nigga." She slapped hands with Kain and left the kitchen.
"You look good in them grey leggings." Kain licked his lips.
"Boy, don't start." She smiled.
"Come here." Kain laughed.
She made her way over to Kain, "I'm gonna start heading home.." He said gently brushing her cheek with his thumb.
"What? No! I want you to stay." She frowned.
"Your mom's gonna be home within an hour, boo. I know you need my dick but not tonight, baby." He chuckled.
"I don't need it." She rolled her eyes and giggled.
"Well, I can always pack an overnight bag, or something?" She suggested.
"No, you need to stay home..." Kain shook his head.
"But I wanna come with you! I wanna stay with you, Kain!" She frowned.
"Nah, Ma. You're safe here. There's been people snooping around and I don't want you to get involved, baby." Kain said just as Shereen was walking into the living room.
"Well, you can stay here. Can't you stay?".
"Maggie, I'll see you tomorrow." Kain kissed her forehead before leaving, "Goodnight, Miss Black." Kain smiled.
"He never listens to a thing that I say." She rolled her eyes.
Kain's house...

Kain sat down in his living room couch, trying to figure out who could possibly be behind all of this. They had sent him another image, again. He stared at the image, trying to remember who's tattoos they could be but he knows himself that he won't find out. He's fucked to many girls in the past, who knows who it is.

Kain put his phone down and closed his eyes for a little bit. He could smell something coming from outside. He twitched his nose to the side and quickly stood up. He immediately smelt something burning. He opened the front door and found his car on fire.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" He yelled as the neighbours began to come out of their houses.
"No, no, no! This cannot be happening, bruh!" He ran his hands down his face.
"Kain! What happened?" She ran outside in a night gown.
"Somebody put my fucking car on fire, man. Fuck!" He cursed.
"Did you see who it was?" Alice questioned.
"Nah, I was inside minding my own when I smelt some shit burning!" He shook his head.
"Fuck, man! I gotta find out who's behind this shit, man!" Kain shook his head in defeat.
Next day...
1:24 p.m
"So you really have ran away from school, huh?" Kain asked kissing Maggie chest.
"Uh-huh...Don't wanna go school but I'm starting next week." She shrugged.
"So you really didn't see who it was that did that shit?" Maggie sat up straight.
"No, I checked the cameras but the person was wearing all black." Kain shook his head.
"From what I could see, I could definitely tell that it was a woman." Mahogany said.
It sent chills down Kain's back, "I don't know." He said thinking that it could maybe be the person that was sending Kain those messages.
"Look, don't stress about it, Kain. You're lucky that you wasn't in the car. I'm lucky you're still here." She kissed his lips.
"You hungry?" Kain questioned.
"I guess." She nodded her head.
"Let's head down to Waffle House." He sighed and got out of bed.
She went into the bathroom bringing her phone along with her. She started her playlist and Naked by Ella Mai began to play. She put her phone down and stood in front of the mirror, naked. She stared at the bruises on her face. They were getting better and better as the days went by. She rubbed her stomach and closed her eyes letting a tear fall. She wasn't planning on getting pregnant at all. Kain probably slipped up or something. She put her hands down by her side and sighed. She looked at her body. She was still kinda skinny but she noticed that she gained weight. Her stomach still looked the same.

Kain stood behind her and kissed her neck. His hands slowly went over to her boobs as he massaged them, playing with them also. She couldn't help but close her eyes and relax her body.
"I'm gonna get into the shower." Maggie said turning around to face him.
"Imma hop in too." He nodded his head.
He slapped her ass and she giggled, getting in with him following in after. At least a couple of hours passed and the two were both seated, eating their plates of food. Kain couldn't help but stare at the way she ate. This truly nigga is in love. He doesn't want to believe it but he knew for a fact that he is. Mahogany just looked at how happy Kain was. He just found out that he lost another child. Her telling him about this third one isn't gonna do any good. So, she decided on keeping it to herself. Was she going to keep the baby? Of course she was. Maggie doesn't believe in abortion. Her family doesn't. She made a mistake by not having any type of protection but she knows for a fact that she was going to love and protect this baby no matter what.
"So, Kain, I was thinking..." Mahogany started off.
"Now that I've finished school, how about I move in?" She propped her head up with her fists.
"Move in? What happened?" Kain asked putting his knife and fork down.
"Nothing." She shrugged.
"Why do you wanna move in? Something must be going on for you to move in." Kain looked into her eyes.
"It's nothing, Kain. I'm being serious." She lied.
The reason why she wanted to move in is because once she's out of her mothers house, she's free to do anything she wants. Shereen has always had the rule, 'if you under my roof, you do what I say.' Mahogany's always stuck by that except for losing her virginity. She's not sure how Shereen will react but if she's already out of the house, then all will be fine.
"There is nothing wrong, Kain, I'm being serious." She said.
"A'ight, then. Have you spoken to your mom?" He asked.
"No, not yet. I'm planning on telling her. I just don't know when.".
"I'm more than happy with you moving in with me baby but you already know how it is. There's already someone that's basically asking for war with me and I don't want you to be in danger.." He sighed.
"Just see what your mom says, a'ight?" He said and they both did their little handshake that Maggie had made up.
"I've got to head back to Jamaica again next week." He announced, "You gon' tag along this time?" He asked.
"Of course. I wanna go somewhere this summer and I truly think Jamaica is the place." Maggie nodded her head and smiled.
"I'll tell my mom about that too so that she knows. How long you thinking of spending there?".
"Probably just a week. I don't wanna be there for too long because I've got to head out to New York too." He said.
"Fine with me." She smiled.
After Kain had dropped Maggie home, she was chilling at home with Daina and Athena. The girls had some catching up to do. It was now summer break and they were planning on where to go. Athena just wanted to go and party all summer before they all had to attend college. They wanted to go abroad that's for sure.
"I can't wait to go abroad and just drink, girl. We're finally 18 and we're free!" She exclaimed.
"Man, I'd love to drink but I gotta watch out for the baby." Mahogany laughed not noticing that she had slipped the private information out.
"Baby? Huh?" Athena furrowed her brows.
"Oh my—I wasn't suppo—"
"You pregnant?" Daina asked.
"I—Well...—I guess..." She shrugged just admitting it.
"Congratulations, bitch!" Athena pulled Maggie into a hug.
"Imma be an auntie! Damn!" Athena said grinning.
"Have you told your mom?".
"No, I wasn't supposed to tell you either. Nobody isn't supposed to know, Kain can't know either." Maggie sighed.
"Maggie, you're gonna have to tell your mom and Kain at some point. You're seriously scared about telling them? What about your dad? He'll go mental." Thena folded her arms.
"I guess so." She shrugged.
Just then, Shereen entered the house with a few bags in her hands. She smiled and gave Athena a hug before heading straight for the kitchen. Athena was right about what she had said. Mahogany sighed and shook her head. She wasn't really worried about her mother's response, or Kain's. What she was really worried about was Idris' response.
