Humming along with him- not paying attention, you began to eagerly hop on the spot, inching closer and closer to the front of the line.
One downside to Kiseichus was that they equated to double the hunger, because Cracker took half the nutrients you gained daily, you needed to eat twice as much- basically feeding for two people.

"Next in line!" Gasping lightly, you sped to the front of the counter and gave the employee an awkward smile, "um.. two cheese calzones please?"
The teenager behind the counter gave you a lighthearted, apologetic smile, "I'm sorry miss but we just ran out of calzones"

Ignoring his concerned questions, you numbly walked away without ordering anything- mostly for his sake knowing just how the Kiseichu acted during situations like this.
Destroy the place
As expected Cracker was livid, beginning to stir and coagulate in your intestines, you actually might have feared the Kiseichu would act out on his anger and do something violent if you didn't know any better.
Surprisingly, Cracker respected your body well enough, and never once has he attempted to forcefully take over.
You suspected it was because of how new he was to this planet, having to be unused to such foreign rules and customs- and the high consequences that followed when those rules and customs were broken, he was most likely scared to find out what could happen to him.
Suppressing your amusement at the thought, you stepped outside and watched people move busily around the streets, just walking at an even pace without a set destination in mind, you wanted to get as far away from the fast food joint as possible.
How dare they deny us our food after all the diligent waiting we did
Laughing at his words, you tried not to focus too much on your growling stomach, "ah it's okay Cracker, we can just-" "(Y/N)!"
Blinking in surprise, you turned to see one of your closest friends rush up to you with a large doughnut box.

Rolling your eyes at Cracker's words, you felt the Kiseichu flow around restlessly in your stomach.
"Hey Luffy, having a hard time?" Glancing down at the big box, the boy rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Yeah I am! We got super hungry right? So I wanted to go eat some meat, but then Katakuri got upset and said we-" clamping your hands over the other's mouth, you darted your head around for any signs of suspicion.
Nobody was around.
"Luffy! Are you nuts?! What if somebody heard that?!" Chuckling carelessly in apology, you slapped your forehead in exasperation, "what are we gonna do with you?"
"Hey, are you hungry? You looked really scary when you walked out of that restaurant earlier" you blinked, "we did?" You jumped feeling your throat tickle with the sensation of you and Cracker using it at the same time.
"Yeah, Katakuri said Cracker must be being super cranky"
"Hey!" But the other was quickly shut up when Luffy opened up the box, revealing rows of doughy, sweet goodness.

Agreeing with him full heartedly, you didn't hesitate to dive both hands into the offered box and chow down gluttonously on the doughnuts you grabbed, feeling Cracker go into a frenzy in your stomach, you assumed the other was satisfied as well, "thanks- Luffy, you're a lifesaver"
Laughing cutely, the raven haired teenager stuffed a handful of sweets in his own cheeks, hearing his voice become half watery as he hummed in delight.
"Ahh, doughnuts" you smiled hearing Katakuri's deep voice hum joyously, watching the Kiseichu act out in Luffy's body for more of the soft, chewy treats gluttonously, it made you smile.
As the two of you walked by on a crowded crosswalk, you kept an eye out for any suspicious looks as the younger boy whispered to himself and to you.
"You should have seen it (Y/N)! Zoro ran up to the guy and punched him right in the face-! Katakuri I told you why we couldn't do that, people would have gotten hurt!" Then the teen began to get into a playful argument with his Kiseichu.
"Yeah Zoro's cool, he's in my biology class- never really around though.."

You laughed- until both you and Luffy caught sight of a billboard across the street and went still.

Cracker was still ravenously going at the doughnuts in your stomach, completely oblivious to the swing in your mood.
Glancing at Luffy, you saw a distant look in his eyes, hinting that Katakuri was probably just as distracted by the food as Cracker, you blinked feeling Luffy take your hand, cradling the box of sweets to his chest.
"What if gramps found out about Katakuri..?" Your eyes widened at the saddened look on Luffy's cheerful features, "Ace told me about what happened to Sabo- I don't want them to take Katakuri too.." Luffy squeezed your hand.
You squeezed back, "we don't want them to hurt us either Luffy, the two of us will do whatever it takes to protect our friends, right?"
Brightening up like the sun rising over the horizon, you grinned seeing the raven gleam up at you- before smiling down at his stomach, lifting his shirt, revealing a decently fit body with little scars, and laughing.
"Yeah! I won't let anyone try to hurt us Katakuri! Yosh!" Dragging you away, you allowed Luffy to get the two of you out of that place.
Protect us? We've been the one who's been keeping us from kicking the bucket this whole time
Shaking your head, you noticed Luffy's small house in the distance, "let's play at my house! We still don't have school till Tuesday!"
Danger!
You felt Cracker shudder in nervousness, a memory of Luffy's grandfather- a member of authority who was highly ranked, talking trash about Kiseichus blazed warnings in your mind.
We don't like that man
Slowing to a lazy stroll, Luffy turned to you with an encouraging look, "ah, don't worry, gramps is out at work- right till Tuesday"
Okay.. if the menace isn't around
Entering the house, you smiled politely seeing Ace setting up the table, "ah Luffy-" he froze seeing the two of you with a half empty box of doughnuts.
Raising his arms in the air in exasperation, the raven scolded Luffy, "why didn't you tell me we were having a guest?! I would've cooked a lot more if I knew (Y/N) was coming!"
You bowed in apology, "sorry Ace, I guess you're not gonna have any leftovers tonight"
Punching Luffy in the head, the older man just waved your apology off with a wide grin, "eh, I got takeout back at my apartment, I'm just here to make sure Luffy doesn't starve while that bastard's out"

Lounging in the living room, the three of you slouched into the couches after just having finished your third movie, and you smiled seeing Luffy sprawl himself all over the cushions, purring happily from the sensation of being full.

Lifting your shirt, you blushed watching Ace glare into your stomach accusingly, "come on you get it? Because (Y/N) and Luffy-"
"(Y/N) and Luffy what?" The gravelly voice made all of your blood freeze.
