Mahogany pulled a face as she listened to her father give her a long ass lecture about this 'mysterious' boy that she was seeing. Idris had overheard Shereen talking on the phone to Ebony about Kain and Mahogany. His age slipped out of her mouth but Idris didn't hear that part. He only heard, 'Maggie's got a boyfriend! She's growing up too fast'. He didn't hear the 'he's older than her!' He pulled Maggie aside and now she's gotta listen to his bullshit.
"You're too young for a boyfriend." Idris shook his head.
"I don't get it." Mahogany said.
"You don't get what? Tell me and I'll start again.".
"Nah, I don't get why it's wrong me to have a boyfriend when you and mama had Terell at 16. It's wrong for me to be in a relationship but Prince had Pryce at 17. It's wrong for me to be seeing someone when Terell started hustling at 12!" Mahogany snapped.
"Don't you speak to me in that tone, young lady!" Idris' nostrils flared.
"I'm sorry dad but I'm not a young girl anymore. I'm not that baby that you carried 17 years back. I'm a big girl, a grown woman! I can see who I want to see or do what I want to do. I know right from wrong, I won't do anything stupid." She huffed.
"How old is he?" Idris ran his hands down his face.
"Uh.." Mahogany managed to get out.
She was panicking and didn't know what to do or say. She tried thinking of something quick but nothing came to mind. If she told Idris that Kain was younger than her then, he'll find him and talk to him. If she mentions that he's older, he'll find him, talk to him and kill him. He made a face waiting for her to talk.
"He's..uh-" She closed her eyes.
"Old enough to see our daughter.." Shereen walked into the kitchen.
Mahogany smiled small, "Don't you think that's enough. Leave Maggie alone, Idris. She's right, she has a point. She's not our baby girl anymore and we can't hold on to that any longer. You keep on doing this and you'll only chase her away. You keep on dwelling on her dating life and next thing you know, she'll be married." Shereen said calmly.
"Let her do whatever she wants to do. Wasn't that us back when we were younger?" She added.
"...Yeah..." Idris looked at Maggie who seemed a little scared.
"Maggie, you go ahead. Idris, we need to talk." Shereen said walking back into the living room.
Mahogany picked up her phone from the island and walked out of the kitchen, leaving Idris defeated. He just wasn't ready to let her go into the real world. He was still holding on to her, tightly. He doesn't want her heart broken like Shereen's. He broke her heart and he regrets it everyday. Mahogany huffed and called Daina.
"Yeah, where you at, cuz?" Mahogany presses the button on her car to unlock the doors.
"I'm at Natasha's, she's making me a wig, bitch. Imma call this one, Risk-Taker." She said sticking her tongue out.
"Show me." Maggie laughed.
Daina showed her the red wig, "I needed a smile on my face." Maggie frowned.
"Why, what happened?" D asked.
"D, my dad happened. He overheard mama talking to Aunty Ebony about Kain and I then he's here telling me that I can't be dating no boy. He asked how old Kain was but luckily, mama saved my ass from answering. I really don't want my father to know that I'm dealing with a man." Maggie twisted her lips to the side.
"He's gonna end up finding out someday, boo." Natasha yelled from the other side of her room.
"I know." Mahogany huffed.
After talking to Natasha and her cousin, Mahogany drove to Kain's house. She parked in his driveway and hopped out of his car. She noticed a girl standing at his door and he was busy talking to her. She began laughing and placing her hand over her mouth, giggling and shit which made Maggie a little concerned about what was being spoken about. What made it even worse was that this nigga was topless and was in his basketball shorts, you could see his print. Then, she saw Kain laughing and pulling on his chin hair too, licking his lips. As Maggie got closer, she could hear them flirting until she changed the subject.
"So, yeah, I'm having a party tonight. You know, a house warming party. You should definitely come along." She said batting her eyelashes.
"See the thing is, I'm taking my girlfriend out." Kain folded his arms.
"What? Really? You've got a girlfriend? Damn.." She chuckled.
"Sorry. I really wish we could've made it." He looked her up and down.
"Oh, don't worry, we can make it." Maggie stood behind the bitch.
The girl turned around and looked at Mahogany, "Oh..You're his girlfriend?" The girl pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Yeah, that's right." Maggie folded her arms.
"I'm Alice, I'm new here. And you are?" She put her hand out.
"Mahogany." Maggie plastered a fake smile that Kain could see right through.
"You live here with Kain?" She asked.
"Actually, I'm moving in real soon after I sort some shit out." Maggie went and stood beside Kain being petty as fuck.
"Wassup, baby?" She grinned and kissed Kain gently.
"Wassup?" He said and he felt her tongue slip and he furrowed his brow.
The kiss wasn't done until Mahogany pulled off, "Maggie.." Kain muttered.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Mahogany fake laughed and playfully pushed Kain before looking at Alice, "I just haven't seen my man all day today and I've been missing him.." Mahogany smiled whilst looking at Kain.
"Look, we'll be there at the party. We'll even go and buy you a nice gift." Mahogany lied straight through her teeth.
"There's no need. I'll uh...leave y'all to it. It was nice meeting you, Kain." Alice blushed a little before walking off.
"See you later on tonight." Kain waved.
Mahogany stood there looking pissed with her arms folded, "Man, what the fuck was that?" Kain sucked his teeth and walked into his house.
"What?! Are you fucking kidding me, Kain?!" Mahogany followed behind and closed the door.
"You acting all petty and shit." Kain explained.
"What? I just gave you a kiss. It was just a kiss.." She shrugged, "I can't believe you was seriously flirting with her. I heard y'all before she changed the conversation to her party, nigga. You ain't slick! I bet you've been flirting to the strippers behind my back too." Mahogany retorted.
"I wasn't flirting with her, Maggie." He walked off.
"Oh, so I'm a liar, now?" She tilted her head and followed him.
"I never said that." He raised his voice.
"Don't be raising your voice at me like that!" She yelled.
Kain tried ignoring it so he walked into the kitchen, "You are really unfaithful! I thought you had changed and stopped all of that shit! I know how you were before, walking around and fucking younger and older women! You ain't nothing but a man hoe! A. Man. Hoe!" Mahogany said throwing her finger in his face.
"Don't be calling me that!" He backed her into a corner and she immediately went quiet.
She stared into his eyes and couldn't help but get turned on by the way he shut her up. He sucked his teeth and walked to the fridge, opening it and grabbing a bottle of water. Maggie just watched him as he moved around the kitchen. Kain knew that she was watching him. He could feel her eyes on him. He put his bottle of water down after drinking it and looked at Maggie.
"Get the fuck out if you think I'm a fucking man hoe!" He said.
"I-I'm not moving..." She mumbled and folded her arms.
"Fuck outta here, bro..." He muttered and walked away.
Mahogany let out a deep breath before looking down and closing her eyes. She threw her head back and shook her head. Maybe it was her fault that she reacted that way but he was flirting with Alice and giving her compliments. The whole thing was just all petty and stupid. But she couldn't lose Kain to anyone so she just sucked it back in. It reminded her of the arguments they used to have before they started dating. She walked into his bedroom upstairs, knowing that he would be in there. She walked down the stairs and found him texting away on his phone.
"I-" She got cut off, "Yo, wassup?" Kain said answering his phone and Maggie sighed.
"Yeah, I'm going. I've already booked my flight and shit." Kain said.
"Nah, I'm heading with Omar, Monty, Callum, Titan and Jontell. Only us niggas are rolling out." He added.
She stood there watching him talk on the phone. He spoken for another two minutes before hanging up and looking at Maggie. He laid back down on his back and watched TV. She folded her arms and went and laid beside him. She was on top and she gave him a small smile. He looked at her and wrapped his arms around her small body.
"I'm sorry, I popped off like that. I had no right. I shouldn't have called a man hoe.." Maggie sighed.
"I shouldn't have flirted with ole' girl." He licked his lips.
"So you admit to flirting?" Mahogany sat up.
"I guess. It's just who I am..." He stated which caused Maggie to suck her twrh, "I'm sorry about that.." Kain looked away as he sat up too.
Maggie didn't want to say a thing. She didn't want to lose her man but what he did was wrong. Sure, Alice was fine and shit but Kain wasn't even gonna go there. He had a girlfriend and he need to respect their relationship. Maggie straddled her legs around his lower body and pecked his lips. He smiled and kissed her deeply. This time, they kissed all over each other. The neck, the chin, the jaw and everything.
She pulled off and smiled at him. She got off of his lap and removed her shoes along with her jeans and leather coat. She went into Kain's closet and reached up for his shorts. He sat there licking his lips and staring at her ass. He just wanted to do these things to her that'll make her scream his name out loud for the whole world to hear. She put the basketball shorts on and climbed on to the bed behind Kain, giving him a massage.
"Damn..." He muttered.
"You like that?" Mahogany asked.
"Hell, yeah..." Kain chuckled and so did she.
"Your skin is so smooth.." She kissed the back of his neck.
"Where your hands learned how to work like that?" He asked looking back.
Mahogany just laughed, "I don't know." She shrugged.
Kain grabbed his phone out and went on his camera, putting it on selfie mode. They had plenty pictures of each other and many pictures of the two of them together. Mahogany loved taking pictures with Kain but sometimes he'd be all moody and try not to take the pictures by hiding his face in the crook of her neck. Today, he decided on taking the pictures himself. Mahognay went ahead and licked his ear, making them both laugh.
"I just want you to know that you're my girl. What I did earlier on was out of line." He put his phone down.
"I know. I'm sorry for all of this crap that I was saying." She kissed his cheek.
"So, this party...we gon' roll out or what?" He asked.
"I think we should go. I mean, she's new to this neighbourhood and she may need friends. Maybe she's a nice girl. It wasn't her fault, she didn't know you were taken." She stood up and went to his mirror.
"You ain't got anything to wear.." He said eyeing Mahogany.
"I'll go to the mall or something. Can you drop me off?" She went back to Kain.
"Yeah, I can do that." He nodded his head.
"Let's go now. You know how long I take to get dressed." Mahogany smiled.
Mahogany's house...
4:57 p.m
"My aunty is at work." Daina said kissing all over Jontell.
"A'ight...I just don't wanna disrespect her, you know?" He said kissing Daina back.
"You won't be disrespecting nobody, chill." Daina laughed.
Just then, the doorbell rang and she got frustrated. She got up from her seat and Jontell smacked her ass. She giggled as she walked away. She opened the door and found a girl standing there with a band-aid on her forehead. She looked a little rough. Her hair was all over the place and she had black bin bags on the floor. Daina furrowed her brow and folded her arms.
"No, I don't have no money to give you, sorry." Daina went to close the door but the girl stopped it with her foot.
"Bitch, are you crazy?!" Daina raised her voice.
"I'm looking for Mahogany Ross." The girl said, "Can I leave a message?" She asked and Daina rolled her eyes.
"Tell her that Jay came by." She sighed.
"Jay?" Daina narrowed her eyes.
"Jasmine. Jasmine Sorrell." She mentioned before picking the bin bags and walking away.
Daina shook her head and closed the door. These ratchet ass hoes, she thought in her head. They were probably just looking for trouble. She walked back into the living room and Jontell watched her walk towards him. He licked his lips and gave her a tight hug.
Jasmine sighed and looked back at the house before walking off. Her feet were aching and she had nowhere to go. Her friends were all busy shopping together whilst she was on the road, struggling to survive on her own. Her mother had just recently kicked her out of the house. She begged and pleaded but her mother didn't listen. She wanted her hoe of a daughter out of the house and on her own as she was acting like a grown woman. Her mother has accepted that she's a big girl and that she's now able to have sex but not to bust it wide open for nearly every guy, including her mother's boyfriend, Charles.
There was only one reason why this girl could've gotten kicked out of the house and one reason only. She knew that it would get her into trouble but does Jasmine ever listen? It was for carrying you-know-who's baby.
The Mall...
5:34 p.m
The pair arrived at the mall and 2 hours ago and were still finding an outfit for Maggie to wear. Kain told her not to worry and that she could get whatever she wanted. She was stuck on a few dresses so he went ahead and bought them all anyway. He was currently holding her 3 big bags and they were entering the Chanel Store as Kain wanted to pick something out for Maggie.
"I wish I had enough money to do the same thing to you." Maggie said putting her arms around Kain after he had put the bags down.
"Don't worry about it, mama." He kissed her forehead.
"You sure?" She twisted her lips to the side.
"I am sure." He smiled.
"A'ight. I wanna pick something out for you." He said browsing the store with Maggie following behind.
"I really don't need any more gifts, Kain. You buying all of these dresses and shoes are already enough." She folded her arms.
"I wanna get them for you." He stopped and turned around.
"Don't worry about it, okay?".
"Fine, okay." She huffed.
She already felt bad for letting him get her all those dresses and now he wants to head to the Chanel store and purchase more things? She didn't want to waste any of his money even though she knows that he's got more. He picked up an all black Chanel Shield Glasses and took a good look at them.
"Put these on for me, mama." He handed it over to her.
She slowly put them on and he gave her a big smile, "You look so sexy in them." He licked his lips and removed the glasses from her face.
"Thank you.." She blushed.
He then went ahead and got her the Gold Coco Crush Earrings that she absolutely fell in love with. She couldn't thank Kain enough. He kept on going around and picking things up for her. She wanted him to stop but he insisted.
"Baby, don't you think that's enough?" She looked at Kain.
"A'ight, one more thing then I'll stop." He smiled at her.
He walked over to the handbags and browsed for one. Mahogany was literally in heaven whilst looking at all these handbags. She looked at Kain who was busy conversing with the young Caucasian lady who was helping him between the pink or black Small Boy Chanel Handbag.
"Kain..?" Mahogany stood beside him.
"I tried asking the helpful lady for help. Which one do you like?" Kain asked.
"Uh..I don't know? They're both really nice..." She shrugged.
"I'll get them both, thank you." He smiled.
"Kain, you're going all out. It's really okay. I don't need all of these things." Mahogany folded her arms.
"You just feel bad because you can't do the same, right?" He lifted up her chin and pecked her lips.
She playfully rolled her eyes, "I want you to have them, okay...?" He smiled.
"Fine.." She folded her arms.

He pulled on his chin hair and licked his lips whilst staring at Mahogany through the crack. Her body is beautiful..., he thought as he watched her step into her dress that he had bought. He stepped away from the door and headed downstairs. While he was waiting on Maggie, he went on his phone. He went on Snapchat and saw a picture of his cousin Melissa and Skai. He sucked his teeth and shook his head. He exited out of the app as he heard heels clicking on his clean marble floor. He looked up and found Mahogany standing there looking as beautiful as ever.
"Damn.." He licked his lips.
"What? Do I look okay?" She asked looking down at her outfit.
"You look sexy, Ma.." He pulled her in for a hug and gave her a kiss.
"You're gonna mess up my makeup if you don't remove your lips." She struggled to get out of his grip.
"My bad. Nah, but for real. You look amazing, baby." He chuckled.
"Thank you." She smiled.
"Alright, you ready to go?" He asked.
"Yeah." She nodded her head.
Kain looked super fine to Mahogany. He didn't over do it. Just a floral print shirt with some skinny jeans and sneakers. To top it off, he wore his chain and a Patek Phillippe that nicely sat on his wrist. They exited his house and walked across the road down past a house. Once they reached the front door, they couldn't really hear much. Kain looked at Maggie and she insisted on him knocking on the door instead. He knocked on the door and Alice opened the door with a huge smile on her face.
"Hey, y'all." She smiled.
"Hey." Mahogany and Kain gave her a small smile.
"Welcome to my humble abode. Come on in." She smiled.
"This is for you." Kain said pointing at the little gift bag.
"Here.." Mahogany said handing her the bag.
"It was all Mahogany's idea." Kain added.
Alice smiled and opened up the bag, "Thank you so much, Mahogany. Thank you, Kain. I'll light this up." She smiled as she looked at the candles.
She smelt it and closed her eyes, nodding her head. She walked off and left the two behind. Mahogany looked at the house before she walked towards the living room with Kain. Some soft jazz music was being played in the background once they walked in. The living room was nicely decorated. The main colour being grey.
People were conversing and drinking glasses of wine or champagne. Kain greeted a few of his neighbours and they began having a conversation. He introduced Maggie to them all. They all seemed friendly to Mahogany and she enjoyed talking to them all. Many were young. They were either in their late 20's or early 30's.
Alice walked back into the living room and smiled at her guests. She moved down here to live on her own but to also pursue her modelling career. She was one of them well-known Instagram girls but she didn't want to be known for that. She really enjoys modelling and hopes she can help the young black girls in the future too. Mahogany was seated on the couch, conversing with one of the neighbours that she had met. From the corner of her eye, she spotted Alice walking over to Kain, putting her hand on his shoulder. Kain cut his conversation with Miles, another neighbour, and began a new one with Alice.
Mahogany watched her from afar, "Girl, I told my Miles to stay away from this Alice chick." Ari pursed her lips.
"Kain's very approachable. I mean, a lot of women and young girls will do anything to be his girlfriend or to spread their legs wide open to feel his 'huge' dick, they say." She put emphasis on 'huge'.
"I heard some shit like that too." Ari sighed a little.
"Just keep an eye on Alice." She stood up and walked over to Miles.
Mahogany put her glass of orange juice down and stood up. She watched as Alice laughed and covered her mouth. Mahogany joined them both and Kain put his arm around Maggie, giving her a kiss on her cheek.
"You straight?" He asked.
"Yeah. I met Ari, she's so friendly." She smiled and looked at him.
"We ought to get moving, now. I made some moves our reservations at a restaurant and we can't miss that." Kain said.
"Aw, well, thank you for coming." Alice smiled.
"And we're across the road if you're in need of anything." Mahogany added.
"Thank you." She pulled Maggie in for a hug.
"Have a good night." She waved as they walked off.
