Anna's POV
I was just about to break the long, dreary silence when the same doctor as before cleared his throat to announce something. I and Dan quickly stood up.
"I-Is he alright? W-Will he w-wake up?!" Dan asks worriedly.
The doctor laughs
softly.
"Don't worry, everything went perfectly okay, he has woken up but is under a...a loopy drug I would say. So therefore, he may do things he would never do normally if he was fully conscious and aware. And I know of his records, so don't be alarmed if he talks for now, but when it wears off, it's only up to him to decide if he wishes to talk again."
I nodded. "C-Can we please see him?!"
The doctor bit his lip but eventually nodded, leading us to Phil's room and leaving us alone with him.
The room was covered with white walls, bed sheets, desks, floors and even chairs. I looked over to the small bed where Phil lay, his eyes half open as a small smile lay on his face.
I rushed to his left side as Dan rushed to his right.
"Lion, h-how are you?" I ask nervously, taking one of his ice-cold hands into mine and squeezing it gently.
Phil's eyes widen as his mouth drops. "I'm a lion?! COOL!" He giggles happily.
I hear Dan laugh softly.
Dan's POV
"Hey there kitten." I say quietly, my stomach fluttering as I remembered the first time I gave him that petname.
"I'M A KITTEN TOO?!" He exclaims excitedly making me and Anna both laugh as well.
"You're my kitten and her lion, now Phil, how are you feeling?" I ask quietly.
"Cool...I feel good, my arms feel tingly and i'm kinda hungry." He says lazily.
I let out a soft chuckle. "You're always hungry, I'll get you something."
Anna got up. "I'll get it, I'm getting something for myself too, want anything?"
"No thanks." I smiled sweetly.
Anna kisses Phil's forehead before leaving. "Just in case he's not loopy when I get back." She mumbled and I nod sadly, turning back to Phil once she had left.
"Phil, do you remember anything that's happened?" I ask seriously.
His eyes widen at my sudden change of mood and looks worried, shaking his head. "N-No I d-don't, i'm s-sorry..."
I smiled soothingly. "It's okay not to, don't worry. I actually wish you wouldn't."
He tilts his head. "Why?"
"Because it isn't a nice memory and I never want you to go through bad things at all, I want you to be happy all the time."
Phil nods lazily, not seeming very.intrested at what I was saying at all but staring at my face.
"You are r-really pretty, h-how do I know you?"
I giggle and blush madly. "Thanks, so are you. And I am...I was, your boyfriend, I think."
"Was?! Can you be my boyfriend again please? I'm sorry for whatever I did! I bet it was something really stupid."
I awe quietly and shake my head. "No you did nothing wrong, it was me. And i'd love to be your boyfriend again, i'm just gonna ask you later when you wake up again."
"Why?"
"Because you might not remember this conversation."
"I will try to!"
I chuckle. "You're so cute."
"You are cute too! You have a cute face!" Phil grins, sitting up properly and shuffling closer to the chair I was sat on.
I also shuffle closer with a big smile on my face.
"How do I have a cute face?" I ask happily.
He giggles and shuffles even closer so that out faces were only a few centemitres apart.
"You have a cute nose." He explains, raising his hand up and booping my nose making me groan and him laugh even more. "You also have cute red cheeks!" He chuckles, pinching my cheeks softly. "Beautiful eyes and skin." He says softly, cupping my cheeks and softly stroking it. "And finally
cute red lips." He blushed slightly, tapping on my lips with his finger.
I chuckle and roll my eyes. "Everything you just did and said made you extremly cute."
"Okay so we can both be cute together!"
"Okay!" I say giggling uncontrollably.
Phil yawns quietly. "I'm sleepy."
I frown and nod. "This talk was nice, too bad you probably won't remember it.."
"I'm sorry...but you will, right?! So you can tell me everything we just said again when I wake up?!" He jumps slightly, looking estatic.
"Of course, I'll tell you everything, now go to sleep kitten, i'll be right here when you wake up, so will Anna."
Phil nods lazily and lays back down on the bed. "Okay." He smiles, peafully falling asleep.
