Kate's Pov
I opened my eyes to see Zayn still asleep. I ran my fingers through his hair then kissed his forehead.
It's his first holiday here and he can't even get out of bed
"Good morning" he said in his morning voice
"Good morning, how're you feeling today Mr Malik?" I smiled
"I feel a lot better I think it's gone" he said giggling
"Great, I guess you can hangout with the boys today"
"Really? Are you free today?" he asked in excitement
"Yeah but why?"
"Can you go out with me? Like on a date?" he's asking me out OMG I can't wait
"Cool but when?" I asked him
"Pick you up at seven?"
"Great, where are you taking me?" I really wanted to know where he was taking me tonight
"It's a surprise you'll have to wait until 7 to find out"
"I better get going then I have to study and get ready for tonight, are you going to be alright here?" I didn't study anything this weekend and maybe I'll call the girls later to come over so they can help me get ready I still have to ask him What to wear....He cut my thoughts saying "Yeah I'll be fine just go and do what you gotta do"
"Zayn?"
"Yeah" he answered
"What am I supposed to wear tonight?"
"Just wear a dress or something we are not going anywhere fancy" he paused "It really doesn't matter what you wear you look beautiful no matter what" his words are so sweet he's so sweet OMG I'm melting...
"Awwe" I said hugging him
"I love you Kate" he said kissing me on my cheek
"Love you too" I said with a bright smile "I gotta go see you at 7"
"Bye baby" he said pressing his lips against mine
I kissed him back then walked out of his dorm heading towards mine OMG!! He just called me baby for the FIRST TIME!! I can't describe how happy I am right now
I got my phone out of my pocket and called Eleanor
*ring*ring*ring*ring*
"Hi" she answered
"Hey El how ya doin?"
"I'm good, you?" she said
"I'm great" I answered
"You seem excited, what happened?" she spoke with excitement
"Bring Megan and meet me in my dorm right now. I'm gonna tell you when you get there"
"Ok, Bye"
"Bye"

*knock*knock*
It's probably Eleanor and Megan.
I opened the door with excitement
"Hey girls"
"Hiii" they both said while coming in
"Now tell us what happened?" Megan said I think she really wants to know
"Well...He asked me out"
"OMG!! When?" Eleanor asked
"Today he's picking me up at 7, I asked him where he was taking me but he said it's a surprise" I'm really excited I never felt this happy before
I glanced at the clock *6:00 Pm*
"Girls it's 6:00 now can you please help me get ready"
"Of course we're gonna help you" Eleanor said rushing towards the wardrobe "Did he tell you what to wear?"
"He told me to wear whatever I want, Nothing fancy tho"
"Okay then this is perfect" Eleanor said picking a not too short not too tall pink dress
"And try these too" Megan said handing me my favorite flats
"Ok give me 15 minutes" I took the dress and the shoes and headed to the bathroom

I took a shower then dried my hair and got dressed and opened the door
"Wow Kate you look gorgeous" Megan squealed
"You're beautiful" Eleanor said with her eyes wide
"Thank you girls" I said
"Make-up time" Megan said as we headed to the mirror
She started with the lipstick
"Please Megan don't apply too much make up just lipstick and eyeliner I don't wanna end up looking like a clown"
"Don't worry just trust me" she said giggling
Eleanor searched through my accessory box
She picked my gold butterfly necklace It's my favorite
She placed it around my neck
"Done" Megan said "Now your hair"
"I'm gonna do that" I said
I curled my hair letting it fall on my shoulders then I picked a purse and placed my phone in it then I put on my favorite perfume
"How do I look?" i asked them
"Gorgeous" Eleanor said
"I'm pretty sure he's gonna melt when he sees you" Megan said
"Awe thank you for these amazingly nice words besties"
I glanced at the clock one last time *6:55 Pm*
Zayn's gonna be here any minute
Zayn's POV
*6:45 Pm*
"How do I look" I'm so nervous I don't know why
"You look perfect" Liam said
"Don't worry mate you're gonna be fine" Niall reassured me placing his hand on my shoulder
"Well...I better get going"
"Have a nice evening Mr Malik" Harry said winking at me
"I will, Bye guys"
"Bye" they all said
I took my phone and car keys and put them in my pocket then headed to her dorm.

Standing in front of her dorm
*knock*knock*knock*
She opened the door
Wow...She looks so fucking beautiful
"Hey" she said smiling shyly
"Hi, breathtaking as always I see" I said kissing her forehead
"Thanks, you're looking good too" She said blushing
"Alright you two go and have a great time" a familiar voice said from behind her it's Eleanor probably Megan's here too
"Bye El if you need anything just text me" Kate said hugging her
"Shall we go now?" I asked
"Yeah let's go" kate said
I wrapped my arm around her waist and walked her to my car
"Where are we going now?" she asked
"You'll see"
We both got in the car
"Is it far from here?" she asked I can tell that she's very excited too
"No it's not that far we'll be there in like 15 minutes" I said starting the engine then pulled out of the parking lot.

*15 minutes later *
"We're here" I got out of the car and ran to her side then opened the door for her
"Thank you" she said stepping out of the car
"No need" "Come on" I grabbed her hand walking her to the river
Kate's POV
Wow this place is beautiful we're standing on a bridge above the river
And there is a canoe waiting for us
Zayn got on it first and then helped me in.
It started moving in the water
He was sitting beside me looking straight into my eyes
He wrapped his arms around me and I closed my eyes
Is this a dream??
I feel butterflies in my stomach, I never felt this way around someone He's my first "True Love"
I pulled away "I love you Zayn" I said getting lost in his brown eyes
"I love you too baby" He said and placed his hand on the back of my neck and pulled me closer then his lips crushed against mine
The butterflies started fluttering in my stomach
This is the best day of my life! Our very first date
I really love him and I think I'd never live without him
He smiled against my lips and broke the kiss resting his forehead aganist mine, holding my hand
"Kate...." he whispered
"Yeah?"
"I love you and I can never live without you, you're the moon that lights up my world, So...C-Can you be my girlfriend?" he said looking in my eyes. I saw worry in his eyes he was pretty nervous
I nodded happily "Yes Yes Yes" I squealed happily hugging him tightly
"Thank you Kate thank you very much, and I promise you I'll do everything to make you happy and I'll always protect you no matter what" He said smiling widely
"Believe me, I know" I said
Zayn's POV.
I was so nervous to ask her I was afraid she rejects me
"Kate..." I whispered
"Yeah?" she said looking in my eyes I guess she knew how nervous I was
"Kate...I love you and I can't live without you, you're my life you're the moon that lights up my world. So...C-Can you be my girlfriend?" I asked looking in her eyes waiting for an answer
She nodded happily "Yes Yes Yes" she squealed and hugged me tight I can't believe It!!
"Thank you Kate thank you very much, and I promise I'll do everything to make you happy and protect you"
"Believe me, I know" She said
A while later
I moved the boat closer to the bridge and tied it well. I stepped on the bridge and helped my girlfriend get off the boat
This date isn't over it's time for surprise number 2
"Let's go" I said taking her hand and walking her through the garden
"Where to?" she asked
"To surprise number 2" I said
"There is a surprise number 2?! Zayn this too much you shouldn't have done all of that"
"You deserve more baby" I said
I lead her to a blanket with a picnic basket on it. I placed them on the side of the river.
We both sat down with her head against my chest and me holding her tight.
I feel those butterflies flutter inside me I never felt this feeling with anyone before she's my first and last love and I'll do anything to keep that beautiful smile on her face.
I got out the box from my pocket. I opened the box and held it in front of her
"A beautiful necklace for the most beautiful girl in this world" I whispered in her ear
"Zayn it's very beautiful" she paused "Zayn you didn't have to do all of this, this is too much" she said looking up at me
"I told you, you deserve more this is just a little thing for my precious girl" I said kissing her head
"Thank you" she said
"Let me put it on for you" I said as I took the necklace from the box, She held her hair upwards and I placed it around her neck.
"Done" I said
She leaned back on me with her head on my chest
I started playing with her beautiful curls as we admired the beautiful view
I glanced at my clock *9:00 Pm* it's getting late and we have lectures tomorrow
"Kate? Kate?" I looked down at her and realized that she was asleep in my arms. She looked so peaceful I didn't want to wake her up. She started shivering I think she's a little cold. I took off my jacket and placed it on her shoulders to keep her warm.
The car wasn't far from here so I carried her bridal style and walked to the car. I unlocked it and carefully placed her in the passenger seat. I placed the basket and the blanket in the backseat.
I got in the driver's seat and then started driving to campus. I parked the car and walked to the other side to carry Kate to her dorm. I carried her bridal style again and locked the car.
I was in front of her door I placed her on the floor gently and started searching for the keys in her purse, once I found them I unlocked the door.
I walked in with her in my arms and placed her slowly on her bed and covered her with her blanket and placed her purse on the nightstand. I kissed her forehead and headed out of the room. Today was the best day of my life.
I finally asked her to be my girlfriend, and she said YES!
