Maddie wouldn't admit it but..her and Luke were getting closer.
No they weren't best friends
No they weren't even friends for god's sake.
They were..acquaintances.
Luke was glad they were a little closer than before.
But he wanted to call her mine.
Yup Lucas Robert Hemmings wanted to call Madeline Rose Parker(not that he knew her middle name)..mine.
(A/N I know it's not Lucas but this is Fanfiction so deal with it:)
Maddie was afraid of making friends.
She my friends had something you call..social anxiety.
Not only that but last time she had friends it went down bad.
*flashback*
Maddie was in year 8 this year.
It was the fourth year her dad had been abusing her.
She decided to tell someone.
Mom?
Don't have one.
Dad?
Hell no he does it.
Rebecca?
She's a blabber mouth.
Lisa?
She wouldn't care.
Casey?
N-yes..shes the only one I can trust.
So when she got to school the next day she was determined to tell Casey.
When lunch came around the next day she asked Casey if she could talk to her.
She said yes so Maddie grabbed her hand and they went outside to the courtyard.
It was winter but there was no snow.
"Maddie what did you need to drag me out here for ??" Casey asked.
"Well it's kinda private but um..my..dad h-he does s-something kinda b-bad t-to me.
My dad abuses me Casey.?"
"Maddie I bet your just asking for attention you little attention seeking slut!" she practically screamed into Maddie's face.
She then turned around and walked inside the school leaving Maddie in the cool July air.
Casey walked back to the table and smirked.
She then stood up on the table and screamed "MADDIE PARKER IS A LITTLE ATTENTION SLUT!!"
And sat back down.
Maddie knew that she couldn't trust anyone anymore.
When she got home that night her father was sober.
And he had 'good news'.
They were moving to Sydney from New Castle.
*end of flashback*

Maddie's POV
When I got home that night from school I did my homework and went to
bed.
Boring..right?
I got up the next morning and put on some black leggings,a red t-shirt and my gray and black sweater.
I then brushed my hair and put on my usual makeup.
I grabbed my black and white converse,put them on and grabbed my navy blue back-pack.
I do the same thing every single morning and night
I'm so boring.
Well I'm here..again.
School..or hell you know I like to call it hell better.
I walked into school and saw nothing really changed same typical school.
But something caught my eye..a girl with red long hair wearing a crop top and really tight leggings making out with a guy with black skinny jeans and an All Time Low t-shirt.
When they pulled back my breath got hitched in my throat.
It was..Casey an-and Luke.
And then..everything went black.
