Titus 2:1-15 KJV
[1] But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

[2] That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

[3] The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

[4] That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

[5] To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

[6] Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

[7] In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

[8] Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Older people are to be examples to the younger. There is always someone younger than you that you can be an example to, so be a good example.

[9] Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Obey your boss, even if he or she is an unpleasant human.

[10] Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

[11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Live soberly, righteously, godly, and with hope. Those thing set us apart from the world.

[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

[15] These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Psalm 54:1-7 KJV
[1] Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

[2] Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

[3] For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
Always set God before you.

[4] Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

[5] He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

[6] I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
It is the only good name.

[7] For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
Another psalm about how God always delivers us from trials. He will never leave or forsake you.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much that You will never leave or forsake us, You are always with us. And as that one poem says, You not only don't leave us during trials, You carry us though them. Thank you so much. Father please wrap Your arms around Mrs. W and her family as they learn to adjust to life without Mr. W. please remind her that You are here for her. Thank you that my friend made it back safe from Mexico, You no doubt had Your angels protecting her there, just as they always protect us. Father please be with those in my prayer journal, please bless and keep them, in Jesus's name, Amen
