Joan- "Uncle Steve what's this"? I asked pointing to a vase that was on a table"
Steve- "That is a vase given to grandma by grandpa"
Joan- "Pretty"
Steve- "No touching Joan. We don't want it to break"
Joan- "Okay"
-Little bit later-
CRASH!!!
Mary- "What was that"? I said as stood up quickly
Steve/Dad- "I dont know" I replied as we headed to the living room
Steve- "What happened"?! I asked as I saw the vase that was broken.
Steve- "Joan did you do this"?
Joan- "No"
Steve- "Allyssa come down here"!!
(no response)
Steve- "Allyssa"!!
(no response)
Steve- "Allyssa McGarrett come down here"
-moments later-
Lissy- "Sorry I was doing something. I couldnt hear you"
Steve- "No wonder you couldn't hear me. Your music is loud. Go upstairs and turn it down"
Lissy- "But.."
Steve- "Now"
Lissy- I go upstairs and turn it down and then come back down. "What is it Dad"?
Steve- "Someone broke my base. Did you do it"?
Lissy- "No I was upstairs"
Steve- "You sure"?
Lissy- "Yes I'm sure. Joan was running again and she broke the vase"
Joan- "I wasn't running and I didn't break the vase. Uncle Steve told me not to touch it and I didn't"
Lissy- "Sure. Whatever Joan"
Joan- "Im telling the truth"
Mary- "Are you sure Joan"?
Joan- "Yes mommy"
Steve- "Joan you better not be lying to us"
Joan- "I'm not"
Lissy- "Dad she guilty"
Joan- "Im not guilty. I didn't do anything"
Lissy- "You were right by the vase and I heard you running from upstairs"
Joan- "But I wasn't down here" Mommy don't you believe me"?
Mary- "I'm sorry Joan but I believe Steve and Lissy"
Joan- "But...but..I didnt do It" I said crying
Mary- "Come on your going in timeout"
Joan- "Uncle Stece you got to believe me"
Steve- "I'm sorry Joan"
Mary- "Since you were told not to run in the house and you broke the vase. Your going to bed early and no beach tomorrow"
Joan- "But we're leaving tomorrow"
Mary- "I'm sorry Joan. Now let's go to the guest room"
Joan- I'm crying on the way there
Dad- "What was the smirk for"? I asked Lissy when I saw her face
Lissy- "What smirk"?
Dad- "The one you had when Joan and Mary was leaving"
Lissy- "I wasn't smirking"
Dad- "You sure Lissy"?
Lissy- "Yes I'm sure. I'm going to my room"
Dad- "Okay then"
-Later on-
Dad- "Lissy can you come to my office please? I asked from the bottom of the stairs
(no response)
Dad- "Lissy"? I asked
(no response)
Dad- "Allyssa did you hear me"? I asked
(no response)
Dad- "Lissy can you come in my office please"? I yelled
Lissy- "Okay! Be right there Dad" I replied
-Office-
Lissy- I go in and see the vase sitting on the table. I gulped and asked "What is Dad"?
Dad- "I need your help on something"
Lissy- "What is it"?
Dad- "I was cleaning to base up when I saw something weird"
Lissy- "What was weird"?
Dad- "The way the vase feel and the pieces of the vase is interesting. It looked like the vase was broken from somewhere high not knock down. Care to explain that"?
Lissy- "Maybe she broke it from the top of the stairs"
Dad- "But you told me that she was running"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "So how can you hear her running down stairs when you were upstairs. You didn't hear me calling you. You had your music so loud. You didn't hear me the two times I called you"
Lisst- "I....uhhhhh....ummm"
Dad- "I'm going to ask you one more time. Did you or did you not break my vase"?
