The Awakening

/ The Town of Unity, a place supposedly built on Peace, a town built from scratch, a gift to harmony from the three Great Factions. Do little know that this town is filled with people from all factions, and aren't they tense. A town where many can go to, a town where people can learn to co-exist.
What a joke. Our people hate the leaders. The people hate each other. The Warden thinks co-existence could bring peace. Maybe he doesn't know that the people would tear each other's throats our the moment one of our champions look away.
We...are divided,

Raider: That fool...
/ After the Raider left the War room he decided to take a walk around the town. /
Raider: How does he even expect to solve our crisis? By making peace with them, They're animals!
???: *Whispering*

Raider: *Grunt* Damn fools...if they want to say something...
Then Say It To My Face!
/ With The Raider's outburst many civilians coward in fear. /
Raider: *Growl* No good people, can't they see what we are doing? There is no more war, no more conflict. It's over.
/ As the Raider's Day went on, he begins to think. /
Raider: "These people, they are War supporters, I feel it. Why must it come to this"
/ Tired from the day the Raider heads to the newly made inn, ran by two Samurai citizens, and begins to sleep. /

Raider: Sounds just like any other day...Welp *cracks neck* *cracks fingers* let's get to work.

Kensei: "Something felt, off...That Warden, I couldn't put my finger on it. It was as if I could sense him, but even clearer.
My senses, they saved me countless times, it was as if my senses was another person telling me what to do.
But this time, I can see him without looking at him. Why?"
/ As the Samurai Vanguard Leader thinks on his thoughts, he decides to follow his leader, with a couple minions wanting to make sure their Leader is safe. /

Kensei: What is he doing?
S(amurai). Minion: Look over there Sir. There is another person with them.
Kensei: Hm? "Who is he talking too?"
???: *mumbling*
Warden: *mumbling*
Kensei: "more people? Wait a minute those aren't people, aren't they...they are!" Bowman Take the shot towards that handshake Now!
*Twang*
*Whoosh*
Kensei: What do you think you are doing?!
/ The Warden looks confused and looks towards the Kensei. /
Kensei: Don't fall for his tricks! A man working with monsters should never be trusted!
???: *grumbles*
/ With a final word the Man falls back into the shadows while two Dark Wolves attack the Warden. /
???: *Roar!*
/ With a roll the Kensei was able to dodge the palm strike from this Beast of Darkness. /
Kensei: By the Gods aren't you ugly
Ursa: *Growl* *Roar*
/ With a Roar The Bear like Beast charged at the Kensei. With another roll the Kensei was able to get out of the way. As this Bear was recovering from his missed charge the Kensei quickly took this chance to rush the bear and did an Heavy strike on the side of the Bear as it was turning. With Bear fully turned it called for a challenge. The Bear began to rise and Roared.
The Kensei ready to answer this challenge rushed at the bear with his Nodachi
at the ready.
He dodge the palm strike aimed for his head and stabbed the beast within its stomach, With effort he took out the sword, twirled and with a final Nodachi Slash he bisected the Bear, leaving the Beast of Darkness to fade into two. /
/ As the Beast fades the Kensei looks towards the Warden who is still battling two of those Wolves of Darkness. /
Kensei: "I must hurry"
/ As the Kensei runs towards The Warden's location atop the edge he sees the Wardens battle was won. /
Kensei: Warden! Are you alright?
Warden: Yeah, I've had worse.
/ As the Kensei stands next to his comrade, he then sees the village, The Fire, The screams, his men struggling against the hoard of Monsters.
The Warden then begins to spew nonsense. /
/ The Warden falls on his knees, defeated. /
Kensei: Warden! Come and get off your knees, Stand up and fight!
Warden: ...It's too late, wherever the Grimm go, destruction always follow.
Kensei: The Same went for Apollyon, yet she could kill a hundred of these in her sleep.
Warden: Kensei...
Kensei: Now I'm not going to take this. You can stay here and hide all you want. I'm going out there and I'm going to show that I fight for Unity! I hope you can say the same.
/ With The Kensei's word declared he leaves. The Kensei then runs towards the town called Unity, while hearing a scream. /
For Unity!
Kensei: For Unity!
/ With a scream of his own he then sees the Warden running faster then him toward Unity. The Kensei knowing his comrade will take care of the ones in front, he turns and heads towards a different part of Unity.
May the Three brothers help guide them in their endeavors the Kensei thinks. /

Warden: "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea"
/ The Warden thinks as he stares down a pack of Beowolves. /
Warden: Hmph, you think you scare me? I've handled worse then you Monsters.
Beowolf: *Growl*
Warden: By the three brothers aren't you ugly
/ The Beowolves tired of the Warden's rambling decides to charge. Charge as they may the Warden took them on with a charge of his own with a Roar the shook the very air around him. /

Kensei: "That's 9 down, 500 more to go..."
/ The Kensei in his fight was able to kill many wolves of Darkness as well as a bear. /
Kensei: Hm, funny, and here I thought I saw a lot more Wolves of Darkness.
???: Hiiiissssss
Kensei: Oh?
Kensei: Hmph, you think a snake can scare me?
???: Hiisss
Kensei: ?!
Kensei: ...Me and my mouth.
/ Under The broken moonlight in the Illuminated burning village he fears not the Snake of Darkness, but he fears that this will go all night. So with a mighty roar the Kensei charges at the Snake. /

Raider: I'll Pull you into Pieces!
/ The Raider yells as he slices a Black Wolf into two. /
Raider: Ha! I think you things are making me break a sweat. Now Which one of you monsters think can beat me!

Raider: My Gods....
???: *Creak* *Crack* GGRRAAHH
Raider: That...thing....

Raider: IS MINE! Ha Ha!
/ As the War bred Viking prepares to fight he thinks to himself. /
Raider: "It has been awhile since I had a good fight. In any other case I would be glad this happened. But this thing...these monsters are killing My people. I will not stand for this any longer. "
Raider: You have attacked my town. Our! Town. That is unacceptable, you started this War. Let's see you finish it!
Raider: RRAAHHH!

/ As the Night went on The Warden, The Raider, and the Kensei fought on through the night. Battling the attacking forces known as the Grimm. With each and every kill they realize that even with a months absent of fighting they still have the strength and power.
The Warden, fighting against the beast that plagued his home all those years ago, with its warriors fighting for greed and money. He fights for his Home, His Land.
The Kensei who was given power from his late master, the past acting overlord of his land. Now has the drive, the courage, the strength to protect his people and country from these Beast From the Abyss.
The Raider, after many days of paperwork and politics, today is the day where he can finally fight. Today he can finally show the true might and power of the Vikings and show who is the true Apex Predator. /
/ After many hours fighting through the night, each in their own fighting stupor, slowly remembering the thrill and addicting drug only known by a few. And that is War.
The Raider remembers

Apollyon: And so does the Warden
/ As the battle rages on they finally meet in the middle of town. /
/ Ready to battle, ready to kill. Ready for WAR! /

/ As the Screams and yelling of both the Faction Champions and as well as the regular populous they all gather in the middle. Ruining the moment between the faction Leaders. /
/ With The Champions injured with only a handful left, and as well as every man, women, and child scared of the beasts. What were the leaders to do?
Kensei: Champions of the Samurai Faction. Stand guard of the villagers towards the South.
Warden: Champions of The Knight Faction. Stand guard of the Villagers towards the South.
Raider: Champions of the Viking Faction. Stand Down and guard the People in the South.
Warden: We Will Handle This.
Kensei: We Will Handle This.
Raider: We Will Handle This.
/ With The words said by the faction leaders the group of scared villagers and weak Champions they saw the Faction leaders turn around and walk in separate directions. /
/ With Four directions the leaders had their Champions guard the forth. While The Kensei waits in the East,
The Warden in the West,
And the Raider in the North.
The Champions guard the South.
With A loud howl and roar.
The Beast have come, but the Leaders were ready. They were ready for a battle, for War. The War against the Grimm. /
Warden: For Unity!!
Kensei: For Unity!!
Raider: For Unity!!
The Faction Champions: For Unity!
/ Then The Battle began. /

/ As the Hours went on through the night it be would assume that the three Faction leaders failed in that battle, in that siege from the Grimm. Yet...The assumption is false. The three leaders stood tall. Any Grimm would not pass them towards the villagers. As the Champions and their Faction Leaders were being pushed back the Leaders kept on fight, with every hit from the beasts, either it being a Beowolf, an Ursa, or a boarbatusk.
They still Fought.
With the Villagers looking in awe at the strength of the leaders, seeing how they fight many, how they are fighting together.
It inspired the Champions, Knight Warriors fighting with Samurais, Samurais fighting with Vikings, Vikings fighting with Knights and so on so forth. /
/ Slowly but surely the Grimm began with hundred of thousands, to only a few hundred, the Grimm were losing. With only a few Champions hurt saved from the other Faction Champions are pulled into the civilians to be healed, but right after they continue to fight.
This is the strength of many, the strength of the Champions, and like hell are they stopping. /

Raider: *pant* Is- *pant* Is that it..?
Kensei: Depends- *sigh* do you see anymore?
Warden: I'm afraid to say that there are bigger fish to handle.
Raider: Well then...how are our champions?
Kensei: Some are badly injured and seem to be working together, they are even celebrating.
Raider: Hmph, fools. They do not know if the siege is done. As long as it is night we can only assume.
Warden: Right...but what is coming?
Kensei: I'm guessing soon enough. Look towards our champions direction. *points*
/ There in the distance a large shadow beings to walk closely. With the Champions eager to win some reputation for their respective faction, they fail to realize just how big the next beast is. /
Kensei: Is that...?
Raider: A huge...?
Warden: DeathStalker...of course.
DeathStalker: Graaahh Hiisss
Warden: Alright...Tell your men to stand down and get ready to evacuate the civilians at a moments notice. As for both of you...I expect your with me in this battle?
Raider: You know it.
Kensei: It is only obvious.
Warden: Alright, Let's do this, ill run ahead and get its attention. Tell the men to guard the people.
I'll handle this.
Raider: Got it
Kensei: we will meet up soon.
/ As the Warden runs up towards the South to meet the DeathStalker head on overhears the populous. /
???: That Warden What is he doing?
???: The Faction Leader...he's not going to fight that thing is he?
???: He is! What is he? Insane?!
???: Is he going to win mama?
???: I'm not sure baby, let's hope he does...
Warden: "The people...they thing I am insane? They think I cannot win. Just like them...Hmph, I will not lose, not this time."
/ As the DeathStalker slowly walks towards the civilians the DeathStalker sees a knight run to him quite a bit of distance away and stop. Waiting, it's as if he wants to challenge the DeathStalker. Many have tried and fail, so what makes this knight special. /

Warden: I remember killing one of you once, it was a long time ago, it was a rite of passage towards being a leader. Let's see if it is going to be the same as last time.
/ As the Warden readies his weapon he remembers the first time he fought a DeathStalker this size. With him alongside him all those years ago he sees his past comrades, The Hammer, The Spear, and the Lotus. As he looks towards the DeathStalker he notices his comrades right beside him, at the ready to fight the beast. With The Kensei to his right, the Raider to his left and him in the middle they were ready. They were ready to die, and to Win.
With a mighty yell they began to charge. /
Raider: For Unity!
Warden: For Unity!
Kensei: For Unity!
DeathStalker: GRRAAHH
/ The Kensei and the Raider separate from his left and right and decide to attack the beast from the sides. The Warden ready for a strike was able to block an attack with its claw and rolled away just in time to miss the Stinger.
The Raider coming from the side slashes one of the legs of the beast with little succession.
While the Kensei jumps to attack the beasts other legs and was able to cut half of one of the legs before it stopped.
The DeathStalker noticing the threats turns towards the Kensei and hits him with his claw, The Kensei tried to block the strike with success but was pushed a fair distance away.
The Raider coming in with a yell charged at the DeathStalker but with his unneeded yelling the DeathStalker used its tail to try and crush the Raider but with just enough time he rolled away and with the force hitting the ground he was tossed a fair distance as well.
The Warden appears with his suits armor clanking he is noticed and the DeathStalker looks his way and decides to use its stringer against the man with a barely noticeable light covering him. The DeathStalker used to sensing this energy focuses all of its attention towards him, noticing the danger the Knight poses.
With the Warden blocking the stinger strike he was able to hit the claw in order to block it. With a hit towards the left claw, then the right claw, and finally the stinger the cycle continues.
As the Warden is growing tired he was finally hit with enough force to send him back 20 feet. With enough energy to stand he sees blood coming out of the hole in his armor. As he drops on his knee, using his sword to hold on too he sees the DeathStalker slowly crawling his way.
Knowing that this is probably the end, he stands and his readies his sword once more. /
Warden: I-is that a-all...I've fa-face worst. I-I have been be-betrayed, Lied! to...ridiculed...beaten...yo-you thing I'm a-afraid of you! Then-Then come and get me! ....
/ While pushing his limits, expecting death. He hears yelling. Yelling of pure unadulterated Rage. Coming from his left. There he sees the Factions Champions.
He sees Raiders, Peacemakers, shinobis, Wardens, and Gladiators, Warlords, even a Shugoki and a Lawbringer. All coming to fight the DeathStalker.
With a final look, the DeathStalker looks towards the badly beaten knight and slams him with its claw away and crawls towards the Champions of the Three Factions. /
/ Being able to stay conscious for a little bit, he tries to stay awake, while being in pain while being possibly poisoned, he hears them. He hears the yelling, the screams. The Roars of that Giant scorpion. When he looks up from his position while laying down being his pain. He wishes he stayed down.
He sees his men dying, the Champions fighting and failing. One fell after another. What brought a tear to him is when the Shugoki and the Lawbringer were about to be crushed. The Lawbringer was pushed away. He was saved, by a person from a different faction.
All that was left was a few Champions and as well as the two Vanguard Faction Leaders.
As the rest of the attacking force are slowly walking back from the beast the Warden decides he has had enough.
As he uses his sword to help himself up, he begins to walk, while he took his first step he is pushed into a world of pain. His chest burns. His body aching and his legs barely being able to stand he quickly jogs. Seeing his new comrades, his friends, His followers he begins to run. Even with the pain, even with the hole in his chest he decides to face the beast.
Right when the Scorpion was about to strike the remaining group of defenders the Warden with all of his strength blocks the strike.
The group of defenders being surprised at the their Faction Leaders appearance they soon become struck with Awe as the Warden in his bloodied state is actually pushing the Claw back.
That Hardly noticeable glow starts to become noticeable, then when it was noticeable it's starts to glow brighter and brighter until The Vanguard Leader became a Beacon.
A Beacon of Hope. /
/ As the Warden parried the Claw he charged right into the DeathStalker's face.
The DeathStalker award of the danger the Warden holds uses his stinger to attack.
The Warden expecting it Parries the Stinger as well, and as a large light appears on his sword he does an overhand strike, cutting the DeathStalker's face into two, right between the eyes. Then the DeathStalker drops, and the Battle, has finally been won. /

/ As the sun rises all can finally see the Warden in all his glory.
With his sword on the ground, and the Giant DeathStalker slowly fading away. Champions and villagers alike can see what killed the Beast that killed many. The People can see how a Beast that has killed powerful Champions and given the Vanguard a terrible time can see, how a strong a single man is, with the will, and determination to kill a Beast that size.
And as the Warden looks up, with little to no energy left he proudly raises his sword and yells. /
Warden: For Unity!!!
The Champions: For Unity!!!
The Vanguard: For Unity!!!
Villagers: *Cheering* *yelling*
/ Then The Warden, tired of the nights events, decides to drop. /
