Izuku had always been well loved by his peers, first was because he spouted compliments like a fountain and two because he looked absolutely adorable, even the older kids like him and almost no one picks on him even if he was markless and quirkless, also because Katsuki keeps growling at everyone who does so much as look at his best friend badly, no one wants a spiky angry pomeranian chasing them after all
"Kacchan! Kacchan! Say ah!" Izuku said, poking a piece of his lunch to Katsuki's mouth, the blonde quickly chomped on it, he quickly took some of his lunch too and shoved it in Izuku's mouth, the poor green haired child almost choked
"Y-You have to be gentle about it K-Kacchan!"
"Just eat the damn thing, Izuku!"
"I can't if you keep choking me!" He whines
Izuku pouts but keeps eating, idly munching on his bento
"Hey Izuku"
"Yeah Kacchan?"
"I want you to be my soulmate" Izuku nods
"I'm markless, Kacchan"
"I don't care" Izuku nods
"I'm sure they'll be a nice person, you have to introduce me to them if you meet them, Kacchan!"
"Oi oi, did you even listen to what I'm saying?" Izuku nodded
"What did I talk about?"
"Uh... soulmate something something, right? I don't have one" Katsuki huffed
"That's not it, Deku" Izuku pouts
"I told you not to call me that anymore!"

"Oi Izuku, you haven't been coming around here often, did something happen?" Yashi asked, the black haired teen was something like an older brother to Izuku, when the other teens try to pick on the child, it's mostly him who's coming to his rescue
"Oh um... me and Kacchan fought but but we got back together again and now I think he's trying to make up for it!" Izuku took something out of his pocket
"He even gave me his favorite chocolate! Here you can have one!" Izuku smiled, Yashi took one
"Hm... Kacchan is the blonde one right?" Izuku nods
"Why did you two fight?" Izuku pouts
"He was just angry that I couldn't be a hero duo with him, but he says it's fine now and he'd just protect me!"
"Ah.. Kacchan really likes you Eh?"
"It's fine because I like Kacchan a lot too!" Yashi chuckled and ruffled Izuku's hair
"Well, tell me if Kacchan breaks your heart okay? I'll beat him up!" Izuku whines
"N-No! Don't beat Kacchan up! He's my friend!"
"Is he?"
"Yashi-nii!"
"I'm just teasing you" Izuku frowns but then his cute little face suddenly turned angelic, flashing a cute innocent smile to his old kid neighbor, Yashi blinked, in an instant, Izuku was running away he tilted his head, confused
Before he noticed that the takoyaki he was holding earlier along with the chocolate Izuku gave him was gone

"Izuku, let's have a sleep over!" Katsuki declares out of nowhere
"Kacchan we're neighbors, we already see each other every day!"
"I wanna see you every night too!" Something about those words make Izuku's soulmark ache, he winces
"Oi Oi, Why are you looking like that?"
"K-Kacchan was just screaming too loud! B-But I'll have to ask mo-"
"I already had my mom ask yours, she said it's fine"
"Wha?! Why didn't you ask me first?!"
"You always forget stuff like this! That's why!" Izuku puffs his cheeks
"I do not, Kacchan!"
"Yes you do, Deku!" Izuku whines
"I told you not to call me that! You're so mean I'm gonna hang out with Tomu-"
"I take it back! We're not done yet, don't hang out with that creepy guy anymore, he tried to feed you a leaf and you almost did because you felt bad!"
"He was giving me really sad eyes Kacchan"
"It was a poison ivy!"
"It was a very pretty poison ivy!" Katsuki huffs
"Whatever, finish this picture with me, Deku" Izuku nods and looks over, he looks at Katsuki, confused
"Kacchan, isn't this picture already done?"
"Stupid, you're not here, look I even put a circle! Just draw yourself there!" Izuku blinked and nodded, he took the paper from Katsuki and sure enough, there was a big red circle in where he was supposed to put himself in
'Draw yourself here'
Izuku took a green crayon and carefully drew himself in even if it was just a stickman with hair
Izuku suddenly noticed that this looks awfully a lot like a wedding picture
"Kacchan?"
"What is it this time?"
"Do you wanna get married?" He asks, Katsuki sputters
"W-Wha-"
"Kacchan?"
"Grrrr, don't ask questions like that stupid Deku!" Izuku huffs at the nickname
"I'm the one supposed to propose because I'm the husband! Take back what you said!"
"W-What?! B-But I'm not proposi-"
"SHUT UP AND TAKE IT BACK IZUKU!"

"That's a pretty neat ring you got there Izuku" Yashi said, sitting next to Izuku, the greenette huffed
"Thanks, Kacchan bought it for us"
"Us?"
"I asked Kacchan if he wanted to get married since he drew a wedding pic and he heard it wrong and thought that I was asking him, now he won't let me remove the ring even though we already ate the candy off!"
"Sounds rough, was it fun?" Izuku nodded
"Kacchan even wore a suit! He tried to make me wear a dress but I tripped a bunch of times that my mom just put me in a suit too! They took a video of it and I was planning to find it and throw it in a pond or something but they put it real high up the shelves!"
"That sucks, how does it feel like to get married?"
"Kacchan won't let me talk to other kids and if he does he has to be real close to me because he read a book about wolves and now he thinks it's his job to protect me! I actually just ran away from him, please hide me Yashi-nii!"
Yashi nodded, before screaming
"KACCHAN IZUKU IS HERE-"
"Y-YASHI-NII HOW COULD YOU-"
"I FINALLY FOUND YOU!" Katsuki said, appearing in an instant, looking really scary, Izuku whined
"Kacchan! Haven't you seen me enough already?"
"No way! Small weak ones like you need to be protected by alphas like me!"
"Kacchan I told you already, you're not a wolf!"
"Of course I'm not! I'm an alpha! Come on let's go back!"
"But you're just gonna throw your clothes on me back in your room!"
Izuku whined as he was dragged away by the blonde, Yashi waving at him as he went further away

He was so happy with his revenge that he didn't notice the fries he was munching on earlier was gone
