The girl thought about the boy constantly. No longer just in her dreams. She thought of him in class, tracing the letters of his name on her table without even realising. Her eyes fell on his phone number, her emergency contact, studying his profile photo which was the two of them, his cheek resting on her head while she made a goofy face at the camera.
The girl loved the boy. She knew that. And she was cursing herself for it. How had she not seen it sooner? Why didn't she recognise the signs?
