Special Chapter 1:
Artemis POV:
5 Years After
"Mommy! Si daddy oh inaaway ako!" sigaw ng anak ko habang patakbong pumunta sa sala kung nasaan ako ngayon.
Binuhat ko siya at iniupo sa lap ko at inilagay ang kamay ko sa likod niya bilang alalay.
"Bakit Cali? Anong ginawa sayo ni daddy?" magiliw kong tanong sa kanya.
We named her Calixta Arion Santillian-De Vera. She is turning five this year, kamukha niya yung papa niya mula mata hanggang ilong. Natigil ang pag-iisip ko nang magsalita si Cali.
"Si daddy po sabi niya aalis daw kayo di ako kasama.. Totoo ba yon mommy?" tanong niya
I brushed her hair and placed it on the back of her ears. I smile as I talk to her.

Ngumiti siya nang napakalapad at biglang sumigaw.

Maya maya lang ay lumabas si Dave galing kusina at may dalang snacks namin. Pagkaupo niya sa tabi ko ay kinuha niya si Cali tapos iniupo sa lap niya. Pagtapos ay inakbayan niya ako at lalong napalapit sa kanya. Isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa balikat niya habang pinapanood ko si Cali.
Kinuha ni Cali yung remote ng T.V at binuksan ito. She even change the channel into a cartoon channel where she can watch Phineas and Ferb. Habang busy yung anak namin sa panonood ng T.V ay sinod sunod na hinalikan ni Dave yung noo ko. I smile as if this is the first time he did it to me. I look to him and pressed his lips to mine for a moment. As we break the kiss a smile were plastered in our faces. Then he speaks..
"I love you." he said.
"I love you too." I replied and hold his face.
Our sweet moment broke when Cali speaks,
"mommy, I want to sleep." sabi niya habang humihikab pa.
I look to Cali and look back to Dave. Akala ko magmumukha nanaman siyang ewan dahil naputol ang sweet moments namin pero nagkakamali ako. He's smiling as if may magandang mangyayari. Isinawalang bahala ko lang yon at muling humarap kay Cali.
"sige na baby, go upstairs in to your room na. Love come with her. Ako na ang bahala dito." sabi ko sa kanilang dalawa.
Tumayo na si Dave at binuhat si Cali. Bago makaalis ay tinawag muna ako ni Cali. Lumapit ako sa kanya and she give me a kiss on my cheeks and hug me.
" sweet dreams. Baby." I say as they go upstairs to Calis' bedroom. Nang makapasok sila sa loob ay nag-upmisa na akong linisin yung sala kung saan kami nakatambay kanina. I turned off the T.V and get the overleft snacks and refrigirate it. Tapos ay pinunasan ko ang center table para maging malinis na.
Nang matapos kong linis yung sala ay pumunta na ako sa kusina kung nasaan yung sink para maghugas ng kamay ko. Patapos na akong maghugas ng kamay ko nang may brasong pumulupot sa bewang ko kasabay ng lalong pagbigat ng likod ko meaning his body are touching mine. Napahinto ako ng bigla niyang sunod aunod na halikan ang leeg ko giving me those shivers.

Tumingin ako kay Dave na tila pinagsakluban ng langit at lupa. Lumayo ako sa kanya at lumapit sa pinto para pagbuksan si Cali. As I open the door Cali went straight on our room. Umupo siya sa kama namin at tumingin sa akin.

"Mommy can I sleep here again? Naalala ko po kasi yung kwinento na mumu ni Ninong James." sabi niya.
Bago pa ko makasagot ay biglang sumagot si Dave.

Nakagat ko ang ibaba ng labi ko at pinigilan ang sarili na matawa sa inasal ni Dave. Nabaling muli ang atensyon ko kay Cali nang bigla itong humikbi. Agad na magpanick si Dave at lumapit kay Cali.
"sorry baby. Nagulat lang si Daddy. What I mean in no is that, tito James shouldn't tell you horror stories because you are a kid. He should tell you about unicorns and other stuffs. Sorry baby.. Please don't cry.." sabi ni James sa kanya

As Cali broke the hug, Dave brushed off the tears coming from Calis' eyes. Then Cali again ask..
" then, I can sleep here?" sabi niya
Kitang kita sa mukha ni Dave na labag sa kalooban niyang patulugin si Cali dito pero wala siyang magagawa. Cali is our baby.
"Yes baby. Pwede kang matulog dito." matapos niyang sabihin iyon ay di ko na napigilan pa ang sarili ko at natawa dahil kay Dave. Dave look at me furiously and Cali smile.
Nang makamove on na ako sa kakatawa ay sinabihan ko silang bumaba na. Naunang bumaba si Cali sa amin dahil may papanuorin daw siya. Bago kami makalabas ng kwarto ay may ibinulong pa si Dave.
"If you think you are safe now, you're thinking wrong. When Cali is asleep meet me in our guest room, and let me punosh you for laughing at me." sabi niya at mas naunang bumaba sa akin.
Hahahaha. When it comes to that matter he always finds a way. I close the door and go downstairs and go straight to the kitchen and prepare our dinner. While Dave and Cali are enjoying the cartoon that they are watching.
