I wasn't planning on another update but here you go.

America and Canada once again walked into the G8 meeting room. Germany, Prussia, Japan and the Italies were there.
Once Japan saw the twins, he immediately walked over.
"America-san, Canada-san," He bowed.
Canada was the first to speak, "Hey Japan." Alfred nodded.
"I just wanted to make sure everything was alright, you all seemed to be very stressed lately. And you and your siblings were late to the meeting yesterday."
The twins stared at him, he noticed all that?
"I've also noticed that there seems to be something going on between you all and England..... I know it's not any not any of my business. But if you all wanted someone to talk to about your problems, than I'm here."
They both smiled at him.
"Thank you Japan," Canada said, America once again only nodded.
Japan looked at him, he noticed the change in his friend's behavior. America was now very timid. Extremely timid.
It was so wrong.
"America-san, are you alright?" He asked seriously.
"Yeah," Alfred said quietly as he nodded. Japan noticed how the younger nation hadn't made eye contact with him.
"If you ever want to talk with me," He reminded.
Alfred nodded again and smiled, "Thank you Japan."
The twins went to their seats and waited for the meeting to begin. Alfred started to think, he was pretty surprised that Japan didn't hate him like so many did.

He shook his head. Damn, remember! You can't think like that.
He took a deep breath and decided to think about this morning. He was hanging out with Portugal who had told him more of his pirate adventures back in the colonial days. He smiled, he didn't even ask for a story, his father just asked if he wanted to hear one. He had been with Portugal for 2 hours before leaving for the meeting. He just cuddled into his father the whole time. It was really nice. He liked spending time with his parents.
Japan watched his friend in worry, he hadn't said anything to America even when he suspected something was wrong. Damn, he was a horrible friend. And it wasn't just America who seemed slightly off. It was North America. South America seemed a little but better but anyway, he hoped everything would turn out alright for them.
Japan looked around and noticed everyone but England was here now. He looked to the clock. One more minute till the meeting started.
What was going on with England?
Finally, Germany called for the meeting to start. He saw that England wasn't here. But he didn't know what was going on lately.
As the meeting started up, Alfred laid his head on Canada's shoulder. His older brother didn't mind of course. He felt tired, maybe it was with everything happening lately but he just wanted to sleep.
Halfway through the meeting, a tired England walked into the room. He didn't say a word and sat down in the only available seat.
He looked at Canada and America sadly before turning back to listen to what Germany was saying.
The twins noticed and looked at each other but didn't say anything. England wasn't insulting them or anything so they didn't need to say anything to him.
The meeting just had a sad atmosphere to it though and everyone guessed it was mostly because of England. He hadn't said anything and was just staring at the table.
But they eventually covered everything and were able to end with a successful meeting.

America and Canada walked out the meeting together, both were really tired for some reason. When they saw England and were able to get through the whole meeting peacefully, they felt relief wash over them and than tiredness.
"America, Canada," They heard said nation suddenly called, they froze.
It was never truly over with them.
"Please wait," He sounded so sad and desperate.
America was tensing up, he didn't want to talk to England. Canada saw this, "You go, I'll stay."
Alfred nodded as Canada turned around-
"America, please stay." He heard England say.
He took a deep breath and turned around, "Yes?"
England walked to the twins and looked them in the eye, "Do you two really want to get away from me? Like your other siblings? You want to leave me?" He didn't want to be alone....
"Yes," Canada spoke, "We.... we've been through a lot with you... And we just want you to leave us alone.... please."
England sighed but nodded and looked at America who was hiding behind Canada, "Alfred?" He asked, taking a step forward.
America took a step back and so did Canada to keep the distance between the two. He wasn't taking any chances.
Did he really do this? America looked so afraid of him......
Alfred looked down and nodded, "Yes, please leave us alone."
England sighed, he really was alone. Even his brothers had told him that they were disappointed in him.. "Okay," He nodded.... "Is Portugal a better father than m- than I ever was?"
Canada nodded and America actually smiled at the thought of Portugal and nodded.
"He actually cares about us," Canada said.
"He's very protective over you all too and so is Belgium," England sighed. He didn't want to be alone.... maybe this wasn't true. "Are you all sure I was that bad-"
"You kidnapped us," Canada cut us off, "You were worst than bad."
England looked down, it really was true. Everyone was gone..... He nodded and started to walk away from the twins.
"He's really gonna leave us alone, right Mattie?" Alfred asked, his parents told him yes but he wanted to hear it from his brother.
Canada nodded, "Yeah Al, I really think so."
They couldn't forget everything that had happened to them, but they could try and not let it hold them back.
America yawned, "I'm gonna go sleep when we get back to our room." The twins started to walk to the elevator.
"I think I might too."
"....You think England feels guilty?"
"I don't even know, maybe... we should stop talking about him... He's done nothing but hurt us.."
"America-san, Canada-san!!" They heard Japan call out, "I have a new game, would you like to come play it with me later?"
America thought about it, "Sure." He didn't really hand with much nations since everything.... So maybe it would be nice to built his friendship with Japan again..
Canada didn't play games like his brother but nodded.
But first, sleep.

As soon as Alfred got into their shared room, he ran to the closest bed and collapsed on it.
As he was going to sleep, he realized something, for the first time in a long time, he actually felt at calm. Like as if he was at peace.
Maybe everything was finally gonna be alright.

Meetings really are a turning point in this book. I just realized that.
