So I'm not sure if anyone reads these, but if you do then HI! I hit one hundred reads! Whoop! And I got my first comment! Yeahh Buddy. For some reason my laptop won't let me load the comment, so I can't read it. The video on the side is just one of Andrea's. Kendra's outfit for the day out is on the side. (Kendra's P.O.V)
It turned out to be just a quarrel over what to eat for dinner. So we just ordered Chinese, since everyone could agree on it. While we waited for our food we watched the boys bicker and play Mario Kart. Louis suggested that we played a game of megamind.
“What the hell is that?” I had never heard of the game before. Louis explained the game to me, but I was hopelessly confused. So I just watch Harry and Niall play. Louis asked Niall questions for a minute then he asked Harry questions for a minute. Whoever answered the most questions won. I was still confused, but it was funny to watch.
When the doorbell rang Niall lept off off the couch and sprinted towards the door. After we paid Niall grabbed the food and started digging in. “Well someone hungry.” Liam said, trying to get some food for everyone else. Niall smiled, his mouth full of food.
“I’m always hungry!” He kept eating. After everyone ate Mackenzie and I decided to go to bed early. We went upstairs and said our goodnights. She went into her room and I went into mine. I decided to take a shower, to rinse out the seawater from earlier. I stripped down and entered the shower, feeling the warm water rain on top of me. I washed my hair with coconut shampoo and conditioner. I washed my body and shaved. One thing I hate about showers, is my body. Just looking down at myself all at once, and seeing all the scars and bruises. It always makes me a little depressed.
I got out and toweled off. I wrapped a towel around my head and got changed into some comfy shorts and a tank top. I went back into my bathroom and combed out my hair. I didn’t feel like drying it, so I wrapped my long locks around a few socks and tied them off. I’d get really pretty curls tomorrow this way. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. When I was all finished in the bathroom I curled up into my warm comfy bed. Have I ever mentioned a freaking LOVE sleep? No? Well I do. A lot. My eyes fluttered shut and I let myself escape into my dreams.
The next morning I woke up to 5 shirtless boys singing to me. Sounds amazing right? It wasn’t. They were jumping on my bed and Niall was playing the guitar. They were screaming at me to get up.I pulled my sheet over my head, rolled over, and groaned at them to leave.
“If you don’t wake up we’re not gonna make you breakfast.” Harry threatened. Hmm, food, or sleep? I thrusted the bed sheet off of me and slowly sat up. When I did Louis screamed.
“AHHH HARREH THERE’S SOMETHING ON HER HEAD!” He ran around the room and jumped onto Harry’s back, trying to hide from me.
“I can’t look THAT bad Lou.” I rubbed my eyes and stood up.
“I think he means how your socks are in your hair.” Mackenzie said, standing in my doorframe.
“Oh yeah, Lou these are just socks. You tie them into your hair when it’s wet, the you sleep on it. When you wake up you untie and unravel them and then your hair is curly. “ I explained. Louis slowly dismounted Harry and walked over to me. He untie one of the socks and a flowy curl spilled over my shoulder. Louis laughed and untied the rest of them, laughing every time a curl fell down. Only Lou..
“In celebration of Kengie’s curly hair, I think we should go out today. shopping, catch a film, dinner, all 7 of us.” Mackenzie proposed. We all agreed and set off to get ready. I decided on a coral colored romper and a pair of brown sandals. I grabbed my Ipod and phone and slid them into my pocket.
I walked downstairs and turned on the tv. I watched criminal minds while I waited for everyone else to finish getting ready. Niall, Liam, and Louis joined me shortly after. Then Harry came down. I yelled up at Zayn and Mackenzie to hurry up. Mackenzie always took forever. When they were ready to go we split up. Mackenzie, Liam, Louis and me in Paul’s car and Harry, Niall, and Zayn in their car. We drove to the local mall. We didn’t think much about disguising the boys, since this town didn’t have many teenagers. It was a really secluded place. It didn’t have a school, yet it had a mall.
When we arrived we began going through the different stores. Occasionally we’d split up and Mackenzie and I would go into a girly store. We finished up in the stores and drove to the nearest movie theater. The boys wanted to see Ice Age 4, so we agreed. It was kid movie, but I found myself laughing the entire time. Then we debated where to go for dinner. Niall practically begged us to go to Nandos
“What’s Nandos?” I’d never been to a Nandos before. I had never heard of one. Niall’s eyes widened.
“We have to go to Nandos, it’s the best thing ever!’’ Niall said. Liam agreed and we drove to Nandos. I couldn’t decide on what to get, so Mackenzie offered to share whatever she was getting with me. When we got our food I tasted Mackenzie and didn’t like it. Niall then offered me a bit of his peri peri chicken.
The entire table grew silent and everyone stared at Niall. I hated having everyone focus on us. “What??” I asked.
After a few more seconds of staring Zayn said, “Niall offered to share with you! Niall never shares with anyone.” Niall blushed. “He must like you if he’s willing to give you some of his food.” Niall blushed even more. Everyone smiled and laughed at us. Except for Harry, who was glaring at Niall.
We finished eating and drove home. When we got inside i trudged into my room. I changed into a pair of basketball shorts and a Mayday parade t-shirt. I combed out my hair, which is only slightly curly now. I pulled it into a messy, but cute, bun. I went into my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. When I was finished I went downstairs. The boys suggested we play Murder. Mackenzie didn't know how to play, so I tried to explain it to her.
“Basically, you split into 2 teams. It’s more fun if you turn off all the lights. It’s similar to a big game of hide and seek tag. You run and hide, and if you jump out and get somebody, you’ve murdered them. When they are murdered the have to wait on the porch. Anyone in the game must stay inside. If someone gets you, you go to the porch. What should the teams be?” I said in a rush. I love this game.
“Let’s do team captains. Mackenzie, you are the captain of one team, and Kendra, you captain the other.” Louis suggested. We agreed, and the boys lined up shoulder to shoulder. We flipped coins to decide who got to pick a team mate first. I won. I looked at each of the five boys, studying the intently. No one really had a big advantage over another.
“Louis.” I decided. That boy is a genius, I’m sure he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve.
“Zayn.” Typical Mackenzie, it’s obvious she’d pick her boyfriend first.
I didn’t want to have to choose between Niall or Harry, so I chose Liam. Mackenzie got Harry. And since I won the coin toss, I also got the team of 4. So my team was me, Niall, Liam, and Louis while Mackenzie was with Zayn and Harry. Booya, I felt pretty confident.
“Ok. Three, two, one, GO!” Liam yelled. We all darted away. My team flew up the stairs. Mackenzie’s immediately rushed to the kitchen. When we were safely hidden we began to talk strategy. We decided that Liam and Louis would be offense, and Niall and I would hide and just try not to get tagged. If Liam or Louis got caught, they’d text us.
Liam and Louis set off into the dark house. Niall and I crept around very carefully, looking for a good spot. We snuck into my room and crawled into my closet. We squished next to each other in a corner, hidden by an array of trackies. We sat in silence for a bit. Then my phone lit up with a text from Liam. It read:
We got Zayn, an Louis got captured. stay hidden, Mackenzie is heading upstairs now.
I heard my door creak open. I snuggled closer to Niall, who wrapped his arms around me. I heard footsteps coming toward us. My heart began beating fast, I couldn’t believe she didn’t hear it thump out of my chest. She slowly opened the closet doors. After a few seconds of holding my breath she closed the door and left. I let out the breath I was holding an Niall did the same . I smiled into the darkness. After a few moments of silence my phone lit up again. Liam had texted me again.
Harry got me, but I got Mackenzie. It’s just you, Niall, and Harry left. One of you become offense, the other stay hidden.
I showed the text to Niall. I insisted he stay hidden. I got up and slowly peeked out of the closet. I didn't see or hear anybody. I walked out of my room with my hand trailing on the wall. I crept into Lou’s room and looked around. No Harry. I checked Mackenzie and Zayn’s room as well. As I slowly entered Liam’s room, I saw Harry’s phone olight up n the bed. He must be close. But why would his phone be on the bed. I cautiously walked over to it. I picked it up and read the text he had just gotten. It read,
Gotcha!
Wait..what? My thoughts were interrupted as a pair of strong arms wrapped around me. Before I could scream I felt a hand cover my mouth. “You sucker.” A husky voice whispered. A voice that could only belong to one person, Harry. Damn. He didn’t let me go though. He dragged me into Liam’s bathroom and shut the door. He locked us both inside.
“What the hell Harry?”
“Gotcha!” He winked at me. It was against the rules to turn on any lights, so we both stood in the darkness. He let go of me and I stepped forward. I crept a few steps away from him. I turned my back on him and took out my phone slowly and carefully. I gently pressed number 7, Niall’s speed dial number. I laid my phone down on the counter. Niall must have picked up by now, so I began talking.
“So Harry, you’re just going to stay here, locked inside of Liam’s closet with me?”
“Hmm, I don’t know yet.”
“Niall is still out there.”
“I know, I’ll get him later.”
“So why are we here?”
“I’m gonna torture you!”
“How?”
“Ermm... I don’t know yet actually.” He said, laughing.
Seconds later Niall opened the door and pounced on Harry back. “I GOT YOU!” He yelled. Harry laughed and I high fived Niall. We all walked downstairs and out to the patio. After announcing the winners, our team did a little victory dance. There was no prize though. Just boasting rights. It was around midnight, and we were all sitting on the patio talking about all the reasons why carrots were amazing. Louis pretty much conducted this entire conversation. After about 10 minutes I got really sleepy. I yawned and Harry offered to take me upstairs. I nodded my head groggily an he picked me up bridal style. I yawned again and laid my head on his chest.
He gently laid me on my bed and tucked me in. He leaned over, hesitated for a minute, then gently kissed my forehead. HIs lips lingered on my skin, making my stomach erupt in butterflies. I pretended to be asleep. He left my room and shut the door quietly. Millions of thoughts and questions raced through my mind, but right then, I was just too tired to worry about anything. I drifted off to sleep just seconds later.
