Hey everyone! WELCOME to the fifth episode of the FIFTH VOLUME of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose! So, to recap once again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID!! RWBY is owned by RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is owned by Toei. Eiji: HENSHIN!!

-TA-To-BA! TATOBA! TA-TO-BA!!-
3rd Person's POV:
Blake and Sun are on the steps of the Belladonna Family Home, both of them each holding a Scroll.
Blake: Okay. Are you ready?
Sun: I beat up on giant monsters and robots more than once, I think I can handle getting a few signatures.
Blake gives a small smile at Sun.
Blake stands on a platform in front of a crowd of Faunus, holding her scroll up in front of her.
Blake: Your chieftain needs you! Your people need you! Please, join the fight and help us save Haven Academy!
The Faunus just stare back at Blake.
Elsewhere, Sun tries to recruit a Faunus with ram horns.
Sun: Are you kidding me? We'd love to have someone with your skills on our side!
The Faunus nervously rubs the back of his head, before his mother calls out to him.
Worried Mother: Mata! Get back inside.
Mata: Mom!
Worried Mother: You're not going anywhere!
Sun sighs in disappointment as the Faunus was dragged away from him.
Back to Blake, she holds out her scroll to two Faunus girls asking them to sign up, but the two leave.
Elsewhere, Sun hangs upside down by his tail from a tree, getting the attention of a couple of Faunus cutting logs and gathering wood. He gestures to his scroll, but the Faunus simply exchange confused looks with each other. Sun sighs until another Faunus tries to cut down the tree that Sun is hanging on.
At the docks, Blake converses with an aquatic Faunus as two more swim up to her. The Faunus Blake is conversing with leaves, and she turns to the two female aquatic Faunus that have just swam up, before they too swim away. Blake, unsatisfied with the lack of progress, walks up to a nearby fruit stand where Sun happens to be present at also. The two of them share disappointed glances.
Blake: We should probably meet up at our rendezvous point with Graphite.
Sun: Yeah....
Blake and Sun walk to the rendezvous point, which is a table near water markets.
Graphite: Blake! Sun!
They see Graphite drinks in hand, they approached to the table and sat down, looking glum.
Graphite: How'd it go?
Blake and Sun said nothing as Sun drinks from his cup. Graphite guesses, making his smile fade.
Graphite: I guess no one signed, huh?
Sun: (slamming his cup down) I don't get it! How can they just sit around and do nothing with the White Fang getting ready to attack?!
Blake: Not everyone is like us three. The Faunus here in Menagerie - the ones that weren't born on the island - moved here because they were tired of fighting, of having to struggle constantly. Menagerie is filled with people that just want to be left alone, and here we are, asking them to put the rest of the world before themselves.
Sun: I guess I never really thought about that.
Graphite: I get it. We're trying to get them to fight for something that won't affect them.
Blake: The problem is, whatever happens at Haven is going to affect them whether they like it or not. If Ada---
Graphite: IF ADAM GETS HIS WAY AND HAVEN FALLS, IT'S ONLY GOING TO MAKE THINGS WORSE FOR THE FAUNUS!!!!!!
Sun: Graphite, chill. We hear you.
Graphite: So, this Adam... that I fought before... He's the guy you used to... work with?
Blake sighs at this.
Blake: .....Yes.
Graphite looks down, making Sun uncomfortable.
Graphite: Sorry, forget I brought it up.
Blake: No, it's okay. Have you ever met someone and thought to yourself, "They are the personification of this word."
Sun and Graphite were confused.
Blake: Okay, well, I remember getting to know Ruby and thinking, "This girl is the embodiment of 'purity'." After a while, I saw Weiss was "defiance." And Yang was "strength."
Graphite: (smiles) Oh! I get it! Like how Shadow is the personification of "surprise." Tenka is "unity." And Rachel is "pride." And Mitchell is "innocence." But after I see him in battle, it will now be, "progression."
Blake: Exactly.
Sun: What am I?
Blake: Jury's still out on that one, but I'm leaning towards "earnest."
At this, Sun wraps his tail around his cup and takes a sip from it in a playful manner.
Graphite: What about me?
Blake: Well, at first I thought you were "lost." But, now I think of you as.... "Guardian."
Graphite giggles in happiness and Blake giggles and smiles back.
Sun: Um... How did you two meet each other?
Blake looks at Graphite.
Graphite: It started when I respawned here in menagarie. On my way, I saw an alphagrimm attacking a family. So, I saved them without any time wasted although I felt lost, being used to my cost for evil. But after that day, I have purpose when if first met Blake in her young age.
Sun: So, you met Adam before Blake left.
Graphite closes his eyes and folds his hands near his face.
Graphite: (sigh) No. Not until when Beacon fell. A monster with no will, he is.
Blake starts to frown.
Blake: At first I thought Adam was "justice", then I thought he was "passion". But over time, I realized I was wrong. He wasn't any of those things. He was "spite". Not "hatred", not "rage", "spite". He won't accept equality, only suffering for what he feels the world did to him, and his way of thinking is dangerously contagious. That's what worries me about Ilia. She's not like Adam, not yet at least, but I don't know how long that will last.
Sun: She was your friend, huh?
Blake: She was. Her chameleon traits meant she could pass as human. She could've lived a normal life if she wanted, but she didn't. I always admired that. She lost her family in a mining accident when she was young, then she joined the White Fang. Like me, she was more or less trained on the road alongside other Faunus. She learned to survive, to defend herself, but as people like Sienna and Adam started to gain a following, she became more dangerous. I guess I did too. My parents tried to get me to leave with them, but I refused. I had Adam and Ilia, after all.
Graphite: You know we're gonna have to face her eventually. She won't give up catchingwithout a fight... you know that, right?
Blake: I know.
Sun: So, what are you gonna do?
Blake: I'm going to try and help her the way you two helped me.
Sun and Graphite are surprised at her response.
Blake: You showed me that sometimes you need to be there for a friend even when they don't want you to be. I was drowning in guilt and fear, I even let "him" (looks at Graphite) become cynical, trying to convince myself "he" was better off this way, when the truth was I wanted the old "him" back.
Graphite scratches his head in embarrassment.
Blake: I tried to push you guys away, but you two didn't give up on me. And I can't give up on Ilia. It's about time I saved my friends for once.
Sun and Graphite smiles at her response.
Graphite: I'll help, too. Ilia can call me anything... ANYTHING all she wants. That wont stop me anyway.
Graphite was about to take a sip from his cup but then gasps as he sees two names on Blake's scroll. Blake and Sun look where Graphite is looking.
Graphite: Never knew you had names already?
Blake: I didnt write those names... Sun?!
Sun: I didn't.
Graphite: Guys, wait. There is a lil' tip there that says.... "meet us behind the Belladonna house immediately. There is something to talk about."
The three of them looked at each other with puzzled looks as they immediately finished their drinks and made their way to where they needed to go, unbekonwst to them that a floating red hand is eyeing on them as it made its way there as well to meet them with his chosen partner.
----MEANWHILE----
My POV:
Back in Mistral, Oscar is in a training room while wielding Ozpin's cane as he practices his swinging strength. Oscar lets out a grunt as he swings the cane at the humanoid construction I made out of ice. The cane clashes with the ice statue and only a few cracks were visible, less than I had hoped for more.
Me: Again, Oscar. Harder!
Oscar prepares himself as he takes in huge amount of breaths before he lets out a loud cry as he swings the cane with all his might. This time, the collision of the cane against the ice statue caused its upper body to be completely shattered. When I noticed his tired and exhausted form, I demilitarized the rest of the ice statue as well as the scattered ones.
Me: We should probably wrap it up here, Oscar. We'll continue tomorrow. You've improved time to time.
As Oscar pants from exhaustion, we both soon hear a voice enter the room.
Ruby: You're really getting better, huh?
Ruby is seen walking down the stairs into the room. Oscar then turns to me with a grateful look.
Oscar: I had some help.
Me: Yup.
She gives me a faint smile, which I returned with my own smile, as I started polishing Parablade.
Ruby: Are you guys hungry? It's almost dinnertime.
Oscar: Uh, yeah. That sounds good. We were about to call it a night anyway.
Ruby: So, you've never fought before?
Oscar: Just the occasional small Grimm. Nothing like this, though.
Ruby: Wow. You look like a natural.
Oscar: It's strange, I have only had this cane for a few weeks, but... I feel like I've had it for a lifetime. Longer, even. I sound like a crazy person......
Me: Well, that's true enough.
Ruby: I mean, uh, yeah just a little. But at this pace, you'll be combat ready in no time!
Suddenly, Ruby frowns upon mentioning her last phrase, making me even stop what I was doing before I shook my thoughts away and continued. Oscar notices this and tries to ask a question before Ruby interrupts him.
Oscar: Uh...
Ruby: Well, see you guys upstairs.
Oscar: How do you handle all of this?
Ruby: What do you mean?
Oscar: I'm... scared.
I then noticed his voice starts to crack.
Oscar: I'm more scared than I've ever been in my life, than I ever thought was possible.
He walks over to a weapon rack and places the cane in the rack.
Oscar: I always knew that I wanted to be more than a farmhand, but this? Who would ask for this?
He glances down at the floor as a tear drips from his eye. He sniffles before kneeling to the floor to reach his backpack. He grabs the cane off the rack and pulls the lever on the handle to compact it before putting it in his backpack.
Ruby: We all went to Beacon because we wanted to help people. But, you're right. None of us asked for this either. We just have to press on and--
Oscar: How can you be so confident?! People have tried to kill you! The world's about to go to war all over again! How are you guys okay with any of this?!!
Ruby is taken aback by Oscar's question. She frowns as she says her response.
Me: Oscar, that's enough. She's been too much. We all have.
They both felt a cold chill down their spines as I slowly approached them both. Oscar literally took a step back out of fear, and for a moment he saw my eyes flare up a little more tint of red instead of blue before it went completely back to normal.
Me: Do you think we're "okay" with this? We're not. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't lose hope... and our smiles either. When Beacon fell, we lost two of our friends: Penny Polendina and Pyrrha Nikos. We didn't know them for very long, but that doesn't change the fact that they were two of the most kind-hearted people we have ever met in our lives and in due time. But then...
Ruby: But that didn't save them. Pyrrha thought that if there was even the smallest chance of helping someone, then it was a chance worth taking. And because of that, she died fighting a battle she knew she couldn't win. And Penny... was killed... just to make a statement.
Oscar: I'm... sorry.
Ruby: I am scared, we all are. But not just for me. What happened at Beacon shows that Salem doesn't care if you're standing against her or not. She'll kill anybody, and that scares me most of all. Pyrrha... Penny... I'd be lying if I said that it didn't hurt, that we didn't think about them every day since we lost them, that we didn't wish we had spent more time with them. If it had been me instead, I know they would have kept fighting too, no matter how dangerous it was.
Me: That's why we don't let our past shape us of who we are. It's the present and future. So, that's what we choose to do - to keep moving forward. And that is what I chose as well, to change Remnant's fate, in my own hands, to make people smile again.... togehter with my friends... and you.
I say this as I stood beside my girlfriend with a calm smile. Oscar walks up to me, and we all share a smile. Ruby wipes tears coming from her eyes with her arm.
Ruby: C'mon, if we don't hurry, Nora's gonna eat everything. It wouldn't be the first time.
Ruby begins to leave the room as Oscar lingers for a bit.
Ruby: Hey, Oscar? This isn't gonna be easy, but the fact that you're even trying says a lot about you. You're braver than you think.
Ruby proceeds up the stairs while Oscar watches. After I saw Ruby leave the room, I turned my attention towards the night sky.
Me: She really is one of a kind, isn't she?
Oscar: Yeah. You're lucky to have her as your girlfriend.
Me: Tell me about it. Why don't we take walk? We still have a few minutes before dinner runs out.
Oscar: Uh, sure.
3rd Person's POV:
Shadow and Oscar stepped out of the training room as they walked on their way towards the balcony railing that gave a very great view of the villages below.
Oscar: So, you two must've been one of the best Huntsmen and Huntresses at Beacon, huh?
Shadow: Heheh! In some ways, yes. But in many others... not so sure, to be honest. We have our own quirks, our faults, just like everyone else. But Ruby? Ruby has something that's rare these days: a spark, that can inspire others even in the darkest of times. That's what makes her a truly one of kind, special. And that's why I'm lucky to have her.
Oscar: This must be really hard on her too.
Shadow: Yeah... Listen, can I talk with Ozpin for a couple of minutes?
Oscar: Uh, sure. No problem.
Oscar lowers his head and closes his eyes. Suddenly, a green and white aura shines from his body for a moment, Oscar opens up his eyes, which are now glowing, showing Ozpin is now in control. But then, he notices Shadow troubled look as he look over at the dark mountains in the distance.
Ozpin: Is there something you wish to ask of me? You look troubled.
Shadow: I've been wondering about the Maidens. What happens when one gets them all, like Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.
Ozpin: I believe... one will become a god.
Shadow: But won't that make me or someone become the most powerful Huntsman that have ever existed? Having this kind of power or semblance is... I don't know. Overwhelming, would probably an understatement...
Ozpin: In a way, yes. That itself could pose a threat to Salem, and you can truly become one once you have learned how to use all four, let alone how to harness them.
Shadow: If what you say is true, then how can I unlock the last one?
There was moment of silence from him before he spoke again in a low tone.
Ozpin: That I still have no clue about.
Shadow: Okay.... that is understandable.
Ozpin: I assure you, Shadow... I don't believe that to be the solution as your ability to use the powers of the past Winter maidens was done biologically. If that were to be the case, then how come your mother still had her powers when she gave birth to you?
Shadow was downright relieved upon hearing that.
Shadow: Well, you said it was pastdown to me by birth, so...
Ozpin: Do not worry, Shadow. I will do my best to find a way to help you unlock the powers of the other maidens, and I'm sure you will do that to yourself as well.
Shadow soon smiled down at the possessed Oscar as he placed his hand on Oscar's shoulder.
Shadow: Thank you..... Professor Ozpin.
Ozpin chuckles lightly at the mention.
Ozpin: Your welcome, Dr. Wrath.
He glows green and white again, switching control back to Oscar.
Shadow: Thanks for that, Oscar. Now, come on. We better get going before Nora eats all of the---
As if on cue, they both hear Jaune's voice boom out from the house, screaming Nora's name and something about eating his own dinner, making him laugh a bit and shake his head.
Shadow: That's our cue.
Oscar: Heheh, yeah.
-----MEANWHILE----
3rd Person's POV:
Corsec and Fennec summon Ilia and reveal that Adam is the leader of the White Fang. Ilia has been given the task of killing the Belladonnas. The brothers state that Adam requested Blake be taken alive and was instructed to killGraphite as well (A/N: I bet they didn't know they can't kill him. They can't kill him unless you are in your rider forms. lol.). The brothers become concerned with turning Ghira into a martyr. They then played a hologram of Adam ordering the death of Blake's family and Graphite, the kidnapping of Blake. He warns them to make sure that Blake is to be brought alive and intact. Yuma arrives and reveals that Ghira's messenger is killed.
In an ominous looking room, a small device projecting a blue hologram with the text "MESSAGE END" deactivates. The room is candlelit, and there are White Fang banners hanging along the walls. Corsac and Fennec Albain stand in front of a painting.
Fennec: Your thoughts?
Corsac: Are of no significance. If this is how High Leader Taurus wishes to proceed, then we shall make it so.
Fennec: Of course, brother. Still...
A knock on the door is heard behind them.
Corsac: Come in.
Ilia Amitola then enters the room.
Fennec: Sister Ilia, thank you for meeting with us.
Ilia: (kneeling) How may I be of assistance?
Corsac: Please, stand. We have wonderful news.
Ilia: What is it?
Fennec: We finally received a message from the Mistral brotherhood: the operation was a success. Adam Taurus has claimed his place as the High Leader of the White Fang.
Ilia: Good. And... Sienna?
Corsac: Buried... with honor. The other branches of the Fang have been given the story that was agreed upon.
Ilia: (sighs) A necessary sacrifice. We won't forget everything she did for us.
Fennec: As they see fit, they will call her death, as justice.
Ilia: Y-Yes. Of course...
Corsac: Your maturity and understanding in regards to this matter is appreciated, and it is why we've summoned you here this evening.
Fennec: The White Fang is experiencing... a transitional period.
Corsac: Growth requires change.
Fennec: And change can be painful.
Ilia: If it's for the betterment of the Faunus, then... it's a pain we can endure. What's our next mission?
Corsac: Containment. With the CCT towers still inoperable, we have the luxury of control over the flow of information.
Fennec: News of Adam's ascension has yet to reach Menagerie, but when it does, the citizens of Kuo Kuana will undoubtedly react poorly now that the chieftain has spoken out against us.
Ilia: (sighs) It's my fault the Belladonnas had any ground to stand on.
Corsac: Do not concern yourself with past failures, Ilia. Focus on the future. We have an opportunity for redemption.
Ilia: What do you need me to do?
Fennec: The Belladonnas are the only remaining threat to Adam's assault on Haven Academy.
Corsac: And so, they must be silenced...
Ilia instantly look visibly taken aback.
Ilia: S-silenced?
Corsac: Like Sienna. They stand in the way of true progress for our people.
Fennec: We would never put such a burden on you alone, of course. Your brothers and sisters will be at your side, but your relationship with their daughter makes you an intrical part of this operation.
Ilia: Blake?
Corsac: We know how close you are with young Blake. Rest assured, High Leader Taurus has requested she be taken alive, but we cannot risk having Blake present to defend her family.
Ilia: But, the people of Menagerie--
Corsac: Will come to understand what happens to those who speak out against the White Fang.
Fennec: And will be left without a leader until our victory is complete.
Corsac puts a hand on Ilia's shoulder.
Corsac: A necessary sacrifice, Sister Ilia.
Ilia briefly thinks on this, before leaving the room.
Fennec: She's right to worry about the citizens. It's possible they may come to see Ghira as a martyr.
Corsac: It is a risk we must take for our High Leader.
Corsac reactivates the device from earlier, showing a blue life-sized hologram of Adam and his message.
Adam: I will not allow them to ruin this! The Belladonna name has brought me nothing but grief!
Visibly upset, Adam brings his hand to face to compose himself.
Adam: You've done well in finding the deserter. Bring Blake to me, alive. But not before you've slaughtered her family. I have a promise to keep.
The hologram then deactivates.
Fennec: He seems... unwell.
Corsac: He carries with him a tremendous burden.
Fennec: Are we sure he is the one to lead us?
Corsac: For now. We must do what is best for the Faunus.
Fennec just sighs at this, before a knock at the door is heard again.
Corsac: Yes?
A Faunus with bat wings enters the room.
Corsac: Brother Yuma. Did you see to Ghira's messenger?
Yuma: He rests beneath the waves... along with his warning.
Corsac: Then all is well.
----MEANWHILE----
Eiji's POV:
I waited for Ankh as I was sitting at the docking bay to eye on the beautiful night sky. While looking up at the night sky, I noticed a floating arm flying towards to me. I stood up as I knew that floating arm to be my partner himself, Ankh.
Me: Ankh, anything???
Ankh: Bad news. The White Fang is going to assasinate the Belladonnas. They want Graphite to be killed, too.
Me: Then we must act, now!
Ankh: Wait. We can't act rashly like the last time with those combos that you've achieved.
Me: So, what now? Do you have a plan in mind, Ankh?
Ankh: Yeah, not just that. I recruited someone new, too.
When he said, and right on queue, a new Rider walked up to us in somekind of "Kamen Rider Build-like form" as my eyes widened.
(A/N: Kamen Rider Z-iO - BUILD Form.)
Me: You...
???: Yes. Me. I may or may not know what happened in the past when I first met you and Build,... but now, "TIME" is of the essence. We must, stop the White Fang now.
And with that statment stated, I nodded at him in agreement.
Me: Yeah. We have to stop them, together with the Belladonnas and Graphite.
