Yn Pov
Today is the day me and Mike go to the doctor office to hear the baby's heartbeat.
Mike-*Putting on his loafers* I'm beyond nerves.
Me- *Giggles* Why? It's gonna be ok. Everything's ok.
Mike-*Stands up* How can you be so sure?
Me- I'm the mom. It's inside me. I feel it.
Mike-*Lands hand on my stomach* I hope your ok in there little buddy.
Kate- *Knocks on door* Hey guys, the drivers waiting down stairs.
Me&Mike- Ok. *Walks downstairs*
Kate- Now, *Fixing mikes collar* tell me if everything's ok. Ok?
Mike- Yes mother.
Kate- *Kisses me and mikes cheeks* Get pictures.
Me- We will. *Walks down steps*
The car ride there was silent. I could tell Michael was thinking. When we arrived the driver opened our doors and we got out.
Mike- *Breaths in and out and opens the door for me*
Me- Thank you. *Walks in*
Mike and I filled out some papers and waited to be called on. When the doctor finally called us we walked to the back and got set up. I sat on the little bed and Mike stood by me shaking a little. The doctor came back in and told me to lay back. I did as I was told. She then apply this cold gel to my stomach and turned on the machine and started rubbing the little monitor around.
Doctor- I'm not hearing a heartbeat *Looking at the screen*
Mike- Oh godsh. *Shaking*
Me- *Grabs his hand* It's ok. *smiles*
Doctor- There's the baby* Points to screen* but I can't hear or find the heartbeat.
Mike- Is it dead..*looks down*
Doctor- ..
