Brittany's Point of View

"Come on." my mom says once she's opened the doors to this creepy barn

"So why are we in a barn in rural northeast Indiana?" Artie asks as we all step in. By all I mean Santana and I, our moms, and Artie,

"Well, gay marriage is illegal in Ohio, but legal in Indiana. Makes absolutely no sense." Santana clears up

"No, no, no. I mean, what are we doing in a barn in rural northeast Indiana?" Artie asks again and I don't understand the difference

"I thought it would be fun for you two to get married in the barn that Brittany was born in." My mom says and I freeze

"What? Wait, what?" I ask

"Your father had his heart set on this trip to the Amish country and we spent the whole day shopping for handcrafted Amish electric fireplaces, and I had this horrible indigestion from all that apple butter and I told your father to pull the car over and I ran into this barn for some privacy. I quickly pulled down my pants and I squatted real low- - and usually, I never look..."

"Oh, my god." I say as I cover my eyes

"...but it was just my lucky day. I looked down, and it turns out I was in labor and Brittany, it was you. And I was very lunch, cause there was a little cow over here and he helped lick you clean, and I swaddled you in a Mr. Submarine wrapper that I found on the ground and I carried you back to the car, and boy, was your father surprised."

"That story's insane." Mrs, Lopez says while shaking her head

"Listen, I'm so happy. That makes me very happy. I could not be happier. I've got my two moms and future BFFs together, at last, and I think, babe..." Santana turns her body and faces me, "This is the perfect place to get married."

"Well...it could be fun. I can work with this." Mrs. Lopez says

"You better." Mom says

"As your official wedding planner, I'll be there to make sure it's perfect. And while this isn't exactly what I was picturing, either, Mrs. Lopez, I do think this place has some potential."

The wedding is in four days so Artie and I had everyone start working on it tonight and it's not going well.

"Ooh, it's looking good, guys. Hey, when you're done with that, why don't you give Tina a hand." Kurt says

"How did I end up doing this? These are, like, 700-pound hay bales." Tina says as she pulls one last me

"Because you volunteered to help out." Kurt says

"I didn't think I'd be stuck doing heavy manual labor, or I wouldn't have worn heels. And I don't...I don't really know all these new kids and I think they're a little pissed that I didn't reintroduce myself and now nobody's talking to me and it's really awkward."

"Oh, no. What's wrong?" Kurt asks me

"I don't know know! I'm freaking out! I-I-I'm, like, in total panic mode. I don't think this barn is structurally sound and I'm scared it's gonna collapse and just, like...like, kill everybody." I say and everyone laughs

"Britt, you are just having some pre-wedding jitters..."

"No." I say cutting him off

"It's totally fine."

"Like, we still, Uh, we still haven't had our final fittings... oh, Kurt. I just got a telegram from Martina Navratilova that she can't be our officiant because she's never really done it before and she doesn't really know either of us."

"Okay."

"Oh, my god. That's wrong," I say pointing at Madison, "Can we just, like throw it up? Like, way up high? And these are in the wrong spot." I say to Tina and her bales of hay

"Well, you just said to put them here." She says out of breath

"Okay, well, you're wrong. I didn't...that...I'm sorry." I say back

"You know, I'm here to help, okay? And Britt, you have got to trust me when I say that everything is gonna be fine. It's okay to have a little anxiety before your wedding."

"There's dirt on the white thing!" I yell, pointing at what I'm talking about, "How did you cope with, like, wedding planning?"

"Well, I didn't really have to because we called it off before...you remember?"

"I find it really hard to track your relationship."

"Well, this isn't about me. Um...so let's just focus on the problems at hand, okay?" Kurt asks and he nods his head

"Like the problem of your boyfriend being older than your dad?"

"Wait," Kurt says and I freeze, "I know who can officiate."

"Who?"

"Burt!"

"Who's...?"

"Burt Hummel."

"I don't...I don't know who that is."

"It's my dad." Kurt says

"It's his dad.' Sam says as he walks past me

I point at him, "Your...yes."

2 DAYS TILL THE WEDDING

"Listen up, bitches. Here is the game plan. Britt and I do not want to see each other in our dresses till the wedding. So we're gonna come out one at a time and shoe you our selections," Santana says to Rachel, Mercedes, and Tina, "Okay?"

"And no peeking, Santana, cause I don't want 9,000 years of bad luck," I say from behind the curtain. I stick my head around and smile, "Ooh, let the fashion show begin!"

We try on plenty of dresses, not the same dress but following the same theme and pattern. I didn't actually fall in love with a dress until I put on this long white one. Not only did I love it but the three judges loved it too.

"Oh, Brittany, that's it." Mercedes says with a smile on her face

"That is absolutely stunning." Tina adds

"I think this is the one, you guys." I whisper so that Santana can't hear me

"I think so, too," Rachel says, "It looks so comfy, you could dance in it."

"It's beautiful." Mercedes says

"I know, right?"

"Wow," Santana says from behind me and my eyes widen, "Wow, Brittany, you look so beautiful."

I turn around start backing away, "Oh, my God, what are you doing?"

"I was going crazy back there, but you know what? Everybody's right. You look incredible." Santana says as she walks closer to me

"No, no, no. You're not supposed to see the dress before the wedding. Oh, my gosh, this is bad luck, Santana! Bad luck!"

"It's okay, Britt. Calm down. It's gonna be okay." She says and I shake my head

"Here," Tina says and she hands me a package of salt, "Throw some salt over your shoulder."

"Go back inside. Go change." Rachel says to Santana

"What am I gonna do?" I ask myself out loud, "What's happening? What am I supposed to do?"

When Santana's back behind the curtain, I calm down, but that doesn't change the fact that we're now going to have 9,000 years of bad luck.

"I am worn out from cake tasting and trying on dresses." Santana says as she gets under the covers with me

"And from giving us 9,000 years of bad luck?" I ask and she laughs

"You looked beautiful, Britt," she says as she lays her head down on the pillow, "It was worth it."

Santana kisses me on the cheek and smiles.

"Tonight is our last night sleeping together because I can't wake up next to you the day of the wedding." I say and she groans

"Britt, nothing's going to happen to us. We can sleep in the same bed."

"What you did today already messed us up and I don't wanna risk more by waking up next to you."

"Okay," Santana says with a little sadness in her voice, "If that's what you then I'll stay away."

I groan, "Don't make it sound like that."

"I'm not making it sound like anything."

I sit up and look down at Santana. She looks up at me and frowns.

"I love you." I say before pecking her lips

"Mmhmm." She says and I laugh

"Say it back."

"Nope."

"Santana."

"Brittany."

"Say it back or else."

"Or else what?"

I pull the covers off of her body and place my hand on her stomach and get them in tickling position.

"No, Brittany. Stop."

"Say it."

"Brittany, no."

I begin to tickle her and she kicks her legs in the air and begins to laugh uncontrollably.

"OKAY! BRITTANY!" She yells

"Say it."

"I LOVE YOU!" She yells and I laugh

"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you."

"I LOVE YOU BRITTANY S. PIERCE!"

I stop tickling her and she giggles. She places her hands on her stomach just Incase I try to tickle her again. She continues to laugh as she pulls the blanket back onto her.

1 DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING

"Hey, guys, do you mind if I ritualistically slaughter this chicken?" I ask Rachel, Mercedes, and Santana, "I want to counteract the bad luck of Santana seeing me in my wedding dress,"

"Oh, my God, you are not slaughtering that chicken in here!" Rachel the vegan says as she backs away from me

"I know, but it'll help." I say

"No. No. Take the chicken out." Santana says as she guided me into the hallway

"This is your lucky day, sir." I tell the chicken before setting him free in the hallway

Santana gives me a look before we walk back over to the piano where they are doing the seating chart.

"Listen, if you want to distract your mind, why don't you use your math brain to help us figure out the seating chart?" Santana asks and I nod my head

"Good idea. Okay, um...well I still think we should seat people based on the Dewey Decimal System. So, like, uh...Kurt should sit with Rachel, because they're both a little annoying. No offense." I say as I move Rachel's seat over by Kurt's

"Wait. Okay, hold up. No me gusta," Santana says as she picks up one of the chairs, "Why is Sue on the list?"

"Oh, we should just find her a table. She could sit with Becky Jackson." Rachel says

"No. No, she is not invited to my wedding."

"Look, Sue has just been such a big part of our lives, right? I mean, we only met because she put us in the Cheerios." I say trying to get Santana to agree

"All I have to say is if you invite the woman to the wedding, there is an 80% chance that she's gonna ruin it." Mercedes says

"But if you don't, there's a 99% chance that she will." Rachel adds

"Praise."

"Well, listen, all I, saying is no. Hell, no. If she's there, then I'm not." Santana says and my head snaps. Did she really just say that? She throws her chair in the garbage before walking out of the choir room.

I turn back around and rub my temples because this is all too much. The wedding is tomorrow and we shouldn't be having so many problems.

THE WEDDING

This morning was going wrong. Santana overslept and then we got into an argument over text about how if we slept together then she wouldn't of over slept. I sent Rachel and Quinn to deal with Santana and then Mercedes and Tina were here to deal with me.

"Okay, Mercedes, I need you to find a spider, cause it's good luck to put a slide on your dress," I say as I pace back and forth, "Um, and Tina, I need you to find some wine glasses to smash like the Jews do, cause they have the best of luck. Oh, and, um, Rachel, I need you to find me a lizard to cross my path...trust me, it', like. witch's lore, of something," They all sit there and just stare at me with wide eyes, "Go! I need all the good luck I can get, okay? I don't want to end up like Jack and Rose."

"Where the hell am I gonna find a lizard?" Rachel asks under her breath

"When I pictured my wedding day, I thought that I'd be the most beautiful bride ever, but I was wrong," Santana says as she steps into my half of the room. I start to look around for so,Ethan to cover myself with and I find a blanket on the couch, "But I was wrong. You are- you look amazing."

"Santana," I say as wrap the blanket around me, "What are you doing here? This is, like, the ultimate bad luck. God, a bride can of see her bride before the ceremony," I say as I push her back into her half, "Why are you trying to sabotage this wedding?"

"You know what?" Santana says as she steps back into my half, "This was all adorable, but now I'm putting my food down. Do you even know why a groom couldn't see the bride before the wedding?"

"Cannibalism?"

"No. Dates back to arranged marriages. People thought that if the couple had time to see each other before the wedding, they would change their minds and bail on actually gettin married. That's not us, okay? Because you love me, and I love you. And no silly superstitions are gonna change that," she says and I look down and shake my head, "Hey. I'm really sorry that I can't go an hour without seeing you, cause I'll just miss you too much. And me and you? Rules don't apply to us. They never have. We make our own luck, so I say that it's good luck to kiss the bride before the wedding because then we can have that kiss that we can't have in front of our friends and family cause they'd be too jealous,"

I take the blanket off and throw it to the side and Santana laughs.

"Come here."

"I agree," Santana says as she pulls me into a kiss. I wrap my arms around her neck and she wraps her around my waist, "I love you so much. But so does this mean that I don't have to wear the blue underwear I borrowed from Tina?"

"Ew, no, Britt, no, you shouldn't do that."

"I just felt weird about it."

"Ew."

I hear the door open and I turn around and see Sue walking in.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Santana asks and I groan because here comes disaster, "You know what, Britt? You actually might be right. We might actually have the worst luck of all time. Cause I can't marry you if I'm in jail for killing this bitch."

I grab onto her wrist to hold her back from attacking Sue.

"Look, kid, I come bearing gifts." Sue says

"Theres nothing that you could give me that I would want. I told you I don't want you here today, so get out." Santana says

"Well, when you see the gift I'm bearing, you will change your tune." She turns around and in comes Santana's Abuela

"Abuela?" Santana asks, "What are you doing here? What's going on?"

"Well, I stopped by your Abuela's house the other day, and laid down a little reverse Sue-chology."

"I was wrong. I'm not saying I agree with every decision you make. I still don't believe it's right for two women to get married, but I do believe that family is the most important thing in the world. And I love you, Santana," she says as she steps closer to her, "I don't want to be the person in your life that causes you pain. And I don't want to miss a day that I've been dreaming of my whole life. Or the birth of your kids. Or any other important days."

Santana smiles, "I don't agree with everything that you believe, either," she steps closer to her, "I just want my Abuela back. I've missed you."

Abuela nods, "I've missed you, too." They pull each other into a much needed embrace.

"I always knew Sue was my good-luck charm." I say and Sue nods, "Can I hug?" I ask when they pull away and they laugh and pull me into one

Blaine and Kurt come into the room, ready to walk us out. Blaine takes Santana first and then Kurt takes me afterwards. It was nice to see everyone smile at me and come here for my own wedding. Quinn has my phone and she's recording the whole thing,

Mr. Burt tells everyone to take their seats and they do.

"Uh, dearly beloved. That's how you're supposed to start these things, right?" He starts, "Uh, twice in my life, I have been lick enough to meet the love of my life. And both of those times, I've married that love. And I knew I was lucky to be able to do that. But I didn't know how lucky until I had to drive over the state line to come here and officiate this wedding. I want to thank you guys. Santana, Britt? I want to thank you guys for being so brave. And so honest. And for standing up here and showing all of us that love and marriage is so much bigger than we thought it could be. And also so much simpler. Love and marriage is when two people say go one another, I love you because I love you, and I m is this is gonna be one heck of a ride, but I don't want to do it unless I can do it with you. And now, the vows, please."

"You ready?" Santana asks and I nod my head, "Okay," she clears her throat, "I've been bullied, outed and misunderstood, but you made everything better. If we weren't given the story line we were given and I was okay with being okay, I would still say yes, a thousand times. I'm a work in progress. You don't ask me to come out the shadows. You help me rip away anything that's blocking the sun. It's time for the two of us to walk into the sunshine together. Forever. I do."

I smile, "The world seemed so scary and confusing. It was just too fast. It made me feel dumb just because my brain worked differently. And then you came along, and even if someone had told me it wasn't gonna work out, and that the end of all our struggling and all of our work, it would just end in heartache...I would've said yes. I would've suffered it all just for the tiny chance to be standing up here marrying you. I'm a work in progress, but I'm your work in progress. I do."

I put Santana's ring on her finger and she puts mine on mine.

"And now by the power vested in me by the internet and the state of Indiana and under a God who for sure if he believes in love, then he fully endorses the lovely marriage of this wonderful couple, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss one another."

I cup Santana's face and press our lips together. Everyone stands up and claps for us. When we pull away from the kiss I tell her I love her and pull her into a hug. We turn and face everyone and the doves are set free behind us.

Once my dad has finished giving his toast, Santana stands up and holds her glass in the air.

"All right, everyone, so, uh, at this time, we would normally be serving dinner, but, um, before we do that, we have a gift for each and every one of you," Santana says, talking about the hats that's underneath their chairs, "So, in case you're basic and you don't know, OTP stands for one true pairing. And I've been lucky enough to find mine with Brittany. And so in the spirit of everyone no their OTP, please join us on the dance floor. And lets get this party started!"

Artie rolls next to Santana and does he choreographed dance with the boys and girl and me. By the end of the song Santana and everyone else is on the floor dancing.

The rest of the night was amazing. Santana was happy, I was happy and nothing bad happened. No fights, no dramatic breakups, just all happiness. I was stressed for nothing.

Sue gave us all the money back we used payed for our honeymoon in Mexico, which means that she payed for our whole honeymoon, with a extra two thousand that Santana lied about.

I am so happy that Santana and I took the final step in our relationship.

A/N
I didn't like how Blaine and Kurt got married at a wedding that wasn't for them. But yes, Brittany and Santana got married. But this isn't the end.
