A/N:

I can't believe that I'm almost finished with these, yet I'm also excited because I will have time to focus on longer writings and more broad stories. The last two preferences are planned so I can finally say that I no longer will take requests for preferences ever again on this blog! Ouchh.

Luke:

With yells and obnoxious food plastered on the screen your eyes couldn't help but glance towards the flickering machine. You had no idea what time it was, possibly after midnight and the sheets were covered to your chin. You had been staring at the TV barely getting the count of how many Gordon Ramsay episodes you had watched. But food had been served and thrown out at least thirty times now, you should have turned it off on the second episode. But that was how your Sunday had progressed and fucking up your sleeping schedule meant there was no hint of sleep tonight either. Sitting with tongue resting between your lips in question you wondered whether to turn the TV off or not. Rumour has it that signals from technology only damaged your sleeping schedule even more. You leaned over to grab the remote but puzzles took away your attention. At first you were sure it was just something in your mind just to fuck you up a bit more. You had to admit, you had been the biggest paranoid ass in the entire population of Sydney. But as it continued and you had debated with yourself for a minute whether it was real or not you decided to take action. Leaning your body over the edge of the bed you cursed far away when disappointment hit you. Usually a large flashlight was under the bed for safety and other uses but somehow Luke or you had placed it somewhere else. Deciding to go with your phone instead and a clothes hanger that was found on the floor you tiptoed out of your room. You were completely sure that if it wasn't because of your heartbeat banging so loudly you would have been quiet as a mouse. You took the turn down the hallway and slowly walked down the stairs. You weren't sure what you had to prepare for, the chances of it being a rat was just as big as a buglar. You could hear more puzzles from the end of the stairs and now the hairs on your arms were rising. You almost regretting walking out because no matter what it was you doubted you had the balls to handle it. When you came to the end you leaned your shaking arm towards the lights on switch and counted to, "OneTwoThree!" Your eyes widened in surprise when all the lights in the living room was flicked on and there stood a just as surprised Luke still hovering over his shoe tie. "Luke?" Your eyes felt portrayed, you almost couldn't believe it. He couldn't be standing there, the last time you had seen his presence was in Singapore. "I uh-," Luke looked down with wide eyes feeling completely caught in the act. He looked up at the clothes hanger you were still threathining in the air. "I wasn't supposed to scare you." He smiled and you dropped the hanger in your hands and stormed towards his direction. "What are you doing here?" You asked, looking up. "I thought that instead of spending time in LA during our tour break why not use it with my lovely girlfriend instead." He caressed your cheek carefully, seeing just exactly what he had been looking for since he sat on the plane on his way home.

Calum:

"I adore you so much Y/N." Looking up from the stack of hair you had between your fingers you continued to cut with the scissor but furrowed your eyebrows. Your costumer was looking up at you with a soft smile, her dimples showing. You looked confused but then realised what she was talking about when she continued speaking. "I mean, living the life with a man who leaves for 6 months straight. Like, I can't help but feel a little bit ashamed when I complain to my husband when he has to work overnight. You can't even argument." You shrugged your shoulder by her words, smiling carefully. This wasn't the first time someone had said this to you. "I don't know Hilary, I just think that you get used to it once you tried it before." You explained carefully and looked into her reflection in the mirror. The regular way to communicate at your salon. "You're a wonder woman." She honestly said and leaned back in the seat. You couldn't help but smile again, liking her compliment. But deep down it was a hell, you couldn't fully describe it to someone else because you didn't want to talk down about tours and such. It wasn't something you wanted to look at as a bad thing. Everyone deserved to work with their passion, just like you did. You turned her head down so you could see how much she was missing. "Sometimes you just wish for a miracle. You know?" You asked, leaning your head to the side. She nodded her head in agreement. Fully understandable of what you were talking about. You smiled carefully and put the scissor away, leaning over to grab the hairspray instead. Hilary was a regular costumer every fifth week, and a total talking head. "Know the feeling." She smiled and nodded her head towards a new costumer who sat on the chair twice away from her. "I don't have anyone after five." You mumbled below your breath and decided to investigate whoever had showed up. The person was wearing a hoodie over his head and you looked down at Hilary who only nodded her head in agreement. "I'm almost done so it's okay. We'll take the permanent next time." She smiled and shrugged away the extra hair. You nodded your head in agreement and grabbed your equipment to move station. "I don't think you have an appointment but I think I can press you in." You looked down at your papers just in case you had missed something but you hadn't. "I'm sure you can fit time for me." Your eyebrows furrowed by the familiar voice. Looking over his shoulder Calum looked up at you with a smirk that was so teasing you felt your heart skip a beat. "Fuck no..." You shook your head in disbelief, a hand coming in front of your mouth. "Or do I need an appointment tomorrow morning instead?" He grabbed your hips and moved you down to his lap to give you a long waited kiss. "No..." You shook your head, already concluding it in your mind. There was a gap hole on the tour. "I can't believe you're home." You held your face close to his neck, feeling his warmth, his smell and everything that felt so alone when he wasn't there. "You're not leaving my side now."

Michael:

You pressed your cheek further against the sloppy pillow with its cover almost partly ripped off. It was something that had ocurred during the night, not something you had expected but who would have thought you would end up sleeping on the couch for no reason. At first you had watched a movie but halfway through felt asleep. It wasn't the same when he wasn't around, you almost felt that pitch in your stomach when you saw something funny and he wasn't right next to you with the same goofy smile. Sleeping in the bed wasn't as great as it used to and you sincerely wished that you could just drag it down to the living room just to give it some sort of difference. The covers still smelled like him, you still stole his pillow even though he wasn't there and you still had your own. Everything literally just reminded you of Michael and you couldn't handle the barrier between you. You loved seeing him happy on tour but deep down as the days passed by it was eating you up. The bowl of popcorn was still filled to the top, you had barely ghosted your fingers over the salty snacks. Pretty much just an excuse to make something and you never actually ate many of those as it was like an actual hunger games sharing them with Michael. The sun was peeking in through the window curtains that was almost always pulled down to give the house privacy and you slowly saw yourself in your reflection. The blanket you had been using was definitely too hot and had left your body sweat its entire liquid on your pyjamas alternatively known as Michael's t shirt. You ran your hand through your hair and looked up confused to the sudden smell of bacon. You wished deeply that it wasn't you who had left something on a hot pan from last night but your concerned thoughts took a sharp turn when you looked over your shoulder. "What the fuck?" You seriously thought it was because the horrible sleep from last night but with the cocky smiling Michael standing in the kitchen your eyes grew twice their size. "What the actual fuck." You had to say it again but this time you jumped up from the couch. "Michael what are you doing?" "Home early from work." He said with a wink, "Want some breakfast?" You shook your head in disbelief by his question and ran towards him. You had been waiting for this for god knows how long, you could already smell his cologne from apart and it was even better than from the sheets. "I can't believe you're home." You muffled your face into the collar of his hoodie and felt his hand sneak down to grasp your thighs. Within seconds he had lifted you up easily, still making sure to hold around you and placed you softly on the kitchen counter. "Eggs without the yolk?" He asked and bumped his nose against yours. You had to look into his emerald eyes just for a second. It felt like a dream but when he punched you softly in the ass you knew just exactly well that it was reality. The nightmares were finally over even if it was just for a couple of days.

Ashton:

"Are you sure you don't want to shop some more Y/N? I mean, the stores are still open for one more hour if you'd like?" It was almost begging that came from your best friend. She had been trying her utter best to make you stay at the mall for as long as possible. You mostly assumed it was because of the lost time you had between. It had been a few hectic weeks and trying to see others had been nearly impossible. When some of your friends were finally with you it wasn't just about shrugging you off right away. You had been to more shops than you could count and you knew when Ashton would come home and see the bills he would have a waiting comment. "No I literally got everything I needed on the list. More than that to be honest." You could feel the pain in your wallet just by looking down at the bags in your hands. But the guilt was quickly changed because you needed this. You needed to get out just a bit but now you just wanted to get home and relax. It had been a long day starting with brunch and then shopping for almost three hours. But your best friend was up for an argument and even though you had almost dragged her home to your house she was still trying to convince you to do something else. "What about bowling? It's been such a long time since we did that the last time." "You hate bowling? You always disclaim they are danger for everyone only because you're the typical person who throws the ball backwards." She looked at you for a full minute clearly thinking the idea had gone wrong. You looked at her suspiciously while swinging your keys between your pointing finger. "Dinner?" It looked like she was at her last bit of hope. But she still didn't want to give up just yet. "Really?" You asked, leaning your head to the side. "We've been eating brunch, lunch and dessert not to mention the milkshake. I just want to relax now." You tried to explain in a sweet way. You didn't want to disappoint her or anything. "Fine," She almost wanted to grown, "But don't say I didn't warn you." You lifted your eyebrow confused but ignored her statement. Waving goodbye you opened the door to your entrance and walked in. The smell of food filled your nose immediately and you quivered an eyebrow. "Hello?" You yelled, walking into the kitchen to see Ashton look pretty surprised. "Oh my..." You almost dropped your bags in the process. Ashton looked down at the half prepared food that was stirring on the stove meanwhile trying to open a bottle of champagne. The table was nicely covered with plates and flowers in the middle. Ashton looked down at his feet with a shy smile. "It was supposed to be a surprise." He felt caught in the act and you shook your head smiling. "It is a surprise." You watched him let go of the champagne to embrace you instead, his hair buried into your hair. "It's only for a couple of days I'm home." You shook your head by his words, "I don't care." You closed your eyes. "As long as you're with me now."
