Corbyn's P.O.V.
I played some music while I waited for everyone to arrive. About 5 minutes after Cyryn texted saying she was almost here I heard sirens blaring.
I quickly grabbed my keys and my phone
What if she's hurt?
What if she crashed?!
I can't lose her too!!
I opened the door and was about to sprint to my car when I ran into something
"Corbyn!?! What is wrong with you!!"
I looked up to see a confused and very concerned Cyryn.
"Oh thank god" I said as I stood up and hugged her
"Care to explain?" She was still confused
"I heard sirens and I thought something happened to you"
"Corbyn. Are you okay? There aren't any sirens anywhere..."
"But I heard them"
"What were you doing when you heard them?"
"I was cleaning up a little while listening to music"
"Play the song that was on."
I went to my music and pressed play on the current song. Sure enough there were sirens blaring in the background.
Cyryn raised her eyebrow at me and busted out laughing
"Okay okay. My bad."
"At least I know you care" she laughed and put a hand over her heart
"Yeah yeah"
There was a knock on the door and Cyryn ran to open it.
Something isn't right...
That knock was ways to hard to be Zach. And Daniel just walks in. Jack will probably be with Zach...
Oh no
I ran to the door right before Cyryn twisted the knob. I pushed her into the coat closet right by the door and shut her in there without an explanation.
Since she wasn't fighting back I'm guessing she trusts me enough to know I'm doing this for a good reason.
I opened the door and saw Jonah standing there
"Hey Jonah. Wh- what're you doing here?" I said trying to figure it out
Was he in the group chat?
No...
Did someone tell him?
...maybe...
But who?
"Corbyn?"
"Yeah? Sorry. What'd you say?"
"I need help man. I'm in a messed up situation"
"Explain."
We made our way to my living room and sat on the couch.
"I don't love Shannon. I don't even like her. But she said the words today and i didn't say them back. I just stood up and le-"
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why didn't you say them back? You're dating her."
"I don't know. That's what I need help with"
There was a knock on the door
"I'm sorry man but I've never been in a relationship so this field isn't really my type of thing. If I figure anything out I'll let you know"
"Alright. Thanks man."
I heard Cyryn leave the closet and open the door.
"Hey dude, it's no problem. You know I love helping people"
"Yeah I've noticed."
I saw Cyryn sneak Jack and Zach upstairs followed by Daniel.
I hope they brought an uber or else Jonah is gonna see their cars
"Well I'll see ya later. I've gotta go do some shopping for mom" Jonah said and stood up
There was some noise upstairs
"What was that?" Jonah asked
"We got a dog."
"Aw can I see it?"
"It's better not to. He's a little feisty. And he's in the bath. I was giving him a bath before you came. So he's wet. In the bath. Alone. I should probably go check on him. I'll see ya later man."
"Um...okay. See ya."
Jonah left and I sprinted up the stairs
Daniel was laying on the floor with a sheet wrapped around his feet. Cyryn was trying to undo the sheet and Jack and Zach were laughing on my bed.
"What the hell happened?!"
"I was try its walk to sit on your bed when these two fools threw a sheet on the ground and it caught my shoe and I fell. So Cyryn was trying to help me out." Daniel explained
"You almost got caught" I told them
"I did get caught. On a sheet. I just told you that" Daniel said.
I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him
"Would you stop acting like a child, Daniel. What are you 12?!" Cyryn scolded him
"Yeah. On a scale of one to ten" Daniel smirked
I looked at Cyryn. She looked beyond mad
She looked at me with a pleading look. I smirked knowing exactly what she wanted and looked at Daniel.
"Dani, I suggest you start running"
He looked confused but soon caught on and took off.
Cyryn was quick to go after him.
They ran out of my room and towards the stairs
Jack, Zach and I followed.
Daniel was three steps away from the bottom when Cyryn leapt onto him and they both fell to the floor.
We rushed to their aid
Cyryn was sitting on top of Daniel and had his arm bent back behind him. He was struggling.
I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and looked at a concerned Zach.
"What?" I asked confused
"I...I don't think she needs us to protect her...I think it's the other way around..."
We all looked back at the two on the floor. She finally let him go.
"Now. Let's go start planning." She said as if nothing happened
Jonah's P.O.V.
*earlier that day*
*after school*
Corbyn just went off on me. I don't think I've ever seen him that mad before...
But I can understand why. Cyryn is just so a-
"Hey baby, where've you been?" Shannon asked as she touched my bicep
Does she always have to touch me in some way?
"I was at the stadium" i said obviously not caring much
"With who?" Um excuse you. Nosy much??
"Does it matter?"
"I guess not"
"Good"
She gave me a hug and snuggled into my chest.
Would she stop already?
I wrapped my arm around her.
I have to keep my act up if it's going to work
But I'm starting to think its failing
But my plans always work
"Baby?" Ugh.
"Yes?" I responded
"I love you" she said
I honestly couldn't care less
"I need to call my mom and see if she needs anything"
I left her before she could respond
I practically ran to my car and drove off
What do I do??

He'll know what to do!!
I quickly drove to Corbyn's house.
I went and knocked on his door. I heard a lot of shuffling around and a few mumbles and then the door opened.
He must've been talking to himself
"Hey Jonah. Wh- what're you doing here?" He stuttered
"Dude I need help. I've gotten myself in a really bad spot and I don't know what to do so I came here hoping you'd know or at least have an idea that can help me out. I don't know why I did this to myself..." I looked up at Corbyn. He was completely zoned out..."Corbyn?"
"Yeah? Sorry. What'd you say?"

I walked myself out just as I saw an uber drive by.

I need to do something and soon.
I got in my car and drove to Starbucks.
