"It's LeviOHsa, not LeviosAH." - Hermione Granger

-------------------------------------------------------

I missed Harry. Most of our summer vacation was gone and we had agreed to meet at Kings Cross train station prior leaving for Hogwarts. Father would drive me there and then leave. It had just been a few days, but I missed Harry horribly. I wondered how he was taking all of this? The question that ran through my head countless times remained unanswered. I believed father really didn't know the answer. Was I naïve? Maybe. I wanted to know what V- sorry- You-know-who had done to me before trying to kill us both. It was important somehow. But I doubt anyone but you-know-who could tell me.

"Time to go!" I turned to face my father. Finally he was finished. I had woken up at 6:00 to try and get him to drive me there. He was not pleased when I told him the time. He had threatened to give me detention for a week at Hogwarts before shoving me out. It was 10:15. The Hogwarts Express left at exactly 11:00. "We'll take those devices muggles travel with."

"You have a car??"

"No you silly girl, for the muggles that can't drive!"

"A bus." I concluded. Father nodded curtly. I had always failed to comprehend why father refuse to say the proper name for technology instead of calling it a thing invented by muggles.

"Why can't we just apparate?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Oh yeah, because suddenly appearing in a train station won't attract any attention." He replied sarcastically.

"Oh." Was my lame answer. He didn't wait for me to say something else and grabbed my arm to drag me along. We arrived at the bus stop and was luckily spared the wait. The bus was crowded. It was utterly amusing to see father, who despised people and crowds, being squished by passengers. His scowl became more prominent. I knew not to rile him up. I giggled under my breath. We soon arrived at King's Cross. I saw Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon and Dudley laughing as they left Harry in the station. I ran over to him as father got my luggage out. He handed it to me and waved goodbye. I knew he was on a tight schedule. Besides, how hard is finding a train?

Harry and I wheeled our luggage into the platform. I looked at my ticket and frowned. Platform nine and three quarters? Was this some sort of joke? I showed Harry and he was also confused. Meanwhile, Winter and Harry's owl, Hedwig, were attracting all sorts of unwanted attention. I groaned. Now what were we supposed to do?

"-every year, packed with muggles." Harry mouthed: 'muggles?' I spun around. A woman with flaming red hair spoke to four boys and a little girl. "Come on, platform nine and three quarters this way!" We chased after them. They stopped in front of a wall. "Alright, Percy, you first." The eldest boy turned to run towards the wall between Platform nine and ten. I winced and waited for the crash. But it never happened. He went straight through the wall! "Alright Fred, you next."

"He's not Fred, I am! One of the boys said indignantly.

Who I assumed his twin said. "Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother."

"Sorry George."

The boy turned to follow his brother and said: "I'm only joking. I am Fred." He and his brother also went through the wall.

Beside me, Harry spoke up. "Excuse me!" The woman turned to him. "Excuse me, can you tell us how to-"

"How to get onto the platform?" Harry nodded. "Not to worry dears, it's Ron's first time too!" She gestured at the youngest boy next to her. She showed Harry how to run straight at the barrier between nine and ten and we both thanked her before disappearing behind the barrier. In front of us was a magnificent train with the words The Hogwarts Express on it. Harry and I boarded the train and waited for it to leave the platform.

"So, this will be a whole new beginning, huh?"

"Yeah."

Soon after the train started moving, we were accompanied by the same boy we'd run into on the platform. "Do you mind? Everywhere else is full."

"Not at all." Harry gestured for him to sit.

"I'm Ron, Ron Weasley."

"I'm Harry, Harry Potter. That's my sister, Cindy."

Ron's eyes bulged. "S-so it's true. I meant you two really have the..." He trailed off pointing to his fringe.

"The what?"

"Scars." He whispered.

"Oh." Harry lifted his fringe to show Ron and tried to lift my bangs too but I slapped his hand.

A woman came in the compartment. "Anything off the trolley, dears?" Ron politely declined saying he had sandwiches.

"We'll take the lot!"

Soon we were eating every type of candy the wizarding world had. Then a girl stepped in. She had bushy brown hair. "Have you seen a toad?" Ron shook his head no. He was just about to show us a spell. "Oh are you doing magic? Let's see it."

Ron shrugged. "Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow. Turn this stupid fat rat yellow!" Nothing happened. The girl scoffed.

"Are you sure that's a real spell?" She pointed her wand at Harry. "Oculus reparo." His battered glasses now appeared new. "Holy, you're Harry Potter! And you must be Cindy! I've read all about you two!" I nodded awkwardly. "I'm Hermione Granger." Then she turned to Ron. "And you are?"

"Ron Weasley." He said with his mouth full of food. Hermione grimaced.

"Pleasure. You should change into robes."

"Well do you mind leaving so we can?" Ron said annoyed. She frowned and left.

Soon after nightfall we arrived at Hogwarts. We got off the train to see Hagrid and a black lake. Father was standing from afar. Ron's brother came running to us. "Hey, did you know Snape had a kid? He's been waiting for her for hours!"

My eyes widened and I ran to him. He sighed in relief. "Oh, I'm so glad you got here! I forgot to tell you about the platform so I went back to the station but you weren't there. I was so worried!" I gawked at him. The other students were speechless. I'm sure they thought he wasn't able to show any emotion besides hate. He blinked as if realizing and turned, walking away. I stifled a giggle.

"Wow! So he is human!" One of the twins came up to me and said. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw father shoving first years aside.

"Ah, back to normal." The other twin said. He turned to me. "I'm Forge and he's Gred." I raised my eyebrows.

He was shoved aside. "Don't listen to him. I'm Fred! The better looking one if you get confused." The other twin, George, I recall, shoved him.

Just then Hagrid ushered the first years into boats so we could cross the lake. I waved to the twins and got in. Everyone admired the magnificent castle ahead. We soon docked and walked up to the castle. We headed up flights of stairs and saw a stern looking witch standing there.

She cleared her throat. "Welcome to Hogwarts. I'm Professor McGonagall. Before you may join you peers, you must first be sorted into houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now while you're here, your house will be like your family, your triumphs will earn you points, any rule breaking and you'll lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points wins the house cup."

"Trevor!" A plump boy ran and picked up a toad. Professor McGonagall shot him a disapproving look. "Sorry."

"The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." She turned and left.

"So it's true then. The rumors on the train. The Potter twins have come to Hogwarts. I turned to see a blond boy making his way to us. "This is Crabbe and Goyle, and I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." Ron snorted. "Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask who you are. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe. You must be a Weasley." He scoffed. Then he turned to us. "You two'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better than others. I can help you there." He stuck out his hand.

Harry just glared at him. "I think I can tell the wrong sort myself, thanks."

He sneered and turned to me. "You?" I shook my head nervously. "Are you mute?"

"N-no." He and his friends laughed. Harry opened his mouth to say something when Professor McGonagall returned.

"We are ready for you now. Follow me."

Just a side note: This is NOT a story where Harry and his sister work together to defeat voldemort. It goes much deeper than that. Cindy and voldemort have a powerful connection unlike the one harry has to him, she just doesn't know yet. I can say you will all be extremely surprised when I near book 5. I won't spoil it, but at the end of book 1, 2, 3, 5 cindy will learn something about herself which she won't tell harry. Hint: dumbledore had Snape bring her to his spy meetings for a reason. Cindy will not take over Harry's role, but she herself will play a major role in the series.

I've said too much...

So, I'll update as much as possible.

Luv u all
