I groaned loudly, the sound echoing through my room in stark tower and turned over in my bed, stuffing my face into the pillows.
I heard a knock at the door but was far too lazy to get up. "who is it!?" I yelled and waited for a response. "Why don't you get up and open the door!" Someone yelled back. I recognised the voice as Natasha's and got up, opening the door for her. I stepped aside and let Nat in, closing the door behind her and lied back down on the bed. "What's wrong?" Nat asked softly, sitting next to me. "Everything" I mumbled, looking at Nat as she rolled her eyes. "Come on, what's wrong y/n?" She asked again. "Being a girl fucking sucks" I answered, knowing she'd understand what I was talking about. "Do you want me to bring you some ice cream?" Nat said, looking at me as I smiled. "That'd be amazing. Thank you Nat" I smiled. She returned the smile and got up, leaving my room to get me ice cream.
After a few minutes there was a knock at the door. I jumped off my bed to open it but didn't expect to see what I saw. Bucky stood there, a goofy smile on his face, holding a bowl of ice cream. "I asked Nat where you were and she handed me this and said you were in your room and to give this to you" Bucky said, handing me the bowl of ice cream as I smiled and took it. "Thank you" I smiled, stepping to the side to let him in. I put a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth before closing the door and sitting down on my bed next to Bucky. "Where have you been all day? We were all starting to get worried" Bucky said, looking at me. "I've been in here all day. Sorry I didn't come down for breakfast or anything. Wasn't really feeling like it" I shrugged, having more ice cream.
We talked for a while until the question I was dreading came up. "Are you on your period?" Bucky asked, looking at me. I felt my cheeks getting red and I shyly nodded. "How'd you know?" I asked, taking in more ice cream. "Well, I know ice cream is your comfort food and you're being quiet which only happens when you're sad or in pain" Bucky said, a slight smile on his lips. "You know me too well" I smiled.
We talked more until I ran out of ice cream. "I ran out of ice cream" I pouted, looking at my empty bowl. Bucky laughed as I continued to look at the bowl sadly. "I want chocolate" I said, looking up from my bowl at Bucky. "We have Nutella" Bucky said. "I'll take it" I replied, getting off my bed and dashing downstairs to the kitchen, Bucky following behind me.
I grabbed out some bread and the Nutella and made myself bread covered in very thick Nutella, maybe too thick. As Bucky walked into the kitchen, I was licking the knife to get the Nutella off it but Bucky took it out of my hands and looked at me disapprovingly. "What?" I asked, taking a bite of the bread. "Doll, you're gonna cut your fucking tongue off if you do that" Bucky said, throwing the knife into the sink. "There was still Nutella on that knife!" I yelled, flinching at the sound it made when it hit the metal in the sink.
"Y/n, you're sandwich is basically just Nutella" Bucky said, pointing at the pieces of bread in my hand. I smiled and shrugged, taking another bite of the bread and grabbed Buckys hand, walking back upstairs to my room.
We got to my room and I sat on the bed, eating my Nutella and thinking about various things. "So are you gonna sit there or...?" Bucky asked, looking at me. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him, processing what he said. "Well I was gonna watch a movie but I'm too comfortable to get up" I responded, taking another bite of my sandwich. Bucky rolled his eyes playfully before getting up and grabbing the remote, turning on the tv. He put Netflix on before walking back to my bed and sitting down next to me. "What movie?" He asked, glancing at me or a second. "Don't know. You choose" I said, shrugging. Bucky flicked through the movies until he found frozen and put it on. "You're obsessed with this movie Buck" I smiled, looking at Bucky. He slightly smiled and leaned back against my bed.
Half way through the movie, I started getting tired and lied down, putting my head in Buckys lap. He played with my hair as I continued to watched the movie, my eyelids getting heavier and closing every now and then. "Y/n if you're tired then you can go to sleep" Bucky said, looking down at me. "It's ok. I'm not that tired anyway" I said, smiling to try and cover up the lie. "Yes you are. Go to sleep doll, it's fine" Bucky smiled at me reassuringly. "Thank you Buck" I returned the smile, closing my eyes.
Bucky continued to play with my hair but right before I fell asleep, he kissed my head and whispered goodnight.
