*JACK'S POV*
I had been on the Magcon tour for about a month now. We were traveling all over the country and I got to meet a ton of fans. Although it was fun, I missed my girlfriend, y/n. She was at home going about her normal life while I was touring all over the country. She got a ton of hate from fake fans but I tried my best to stop it.
Beep beep, beep beep! My phone rang, waking me up. I felt around for my phone, my eyes still closed, and pressed the answer button. Still half asleep I grumbled a 'hello' into the phone.
"Is this Jack Gilinksy?" A unfamiliar female voice responded.
"Yeah that's me," I replied, longing to be asleep instead of talking to a stranger.
"Your girlfriend, Y/n Y/l/n, was hit by a drunk driver earlier this morning. I'm afraid to tell you that she didn't make it. She was dead on arrival," the female voice explained.
I sat up, my head spinning. I hung up the phone and threw it across the room, waking up Jack who was sleeping in the other hotel bed.
"Bro what's wrong?" He groggily questioned. I couldn't form a coherent sentence. Dead. She's gone. Dead on arrival. Car accident. Dead. Is all that played through my mind.
Jack sat up, turned on the light and looked at me. "Jack. What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
"Y/n," was all I could say. My voice sounded foreign to me. It sounded broken and weak. Jack crossed the room and put his hand on my shoulder.
"What about y/n? What happened?!" He pushed. I looked him in the eyes as one tear fell down my face.
"She's dead..." I whisper. The tears fall more rapidly now. I can't control them. My breathing is labored and it feels like my throat is closing. Gone. Dead on impact. It's getting harder to breath. I try to catch my breath but it makes it worse.
"Jack! Calm down you're going to hurt yourself!" Jack says, trying to help me. I try to stop crying but it's impossible. My whole world is crashing down on me. The best thing in my life is dead because one stupid drunk couldn't stay off the road.
I start to get light headed but still can't catch my breath. "Can't... Breathe," I gasp. Jack gets out his phone and calls someone. I'm too focused on trying to breath to hear who.
Jack puts it away and looks at me again. "Jack. Calm down. You're having a panic attack according to Bart. Think of happy things. Get your mind off y/n's death. Think of when you first met her, your first date, when you told her you loved her. Think of your family. Just breathe," he orders.
After struggling for a little I finally can breathe again. But that doesn't mean I'm ok. I'm far from ok. My girlfriend, best friend, whole world, is dead. She left me behind on this hell called earth and I don't know if it can make it alone.
