Hey everyone! WELCOME to the sixth episode of the FOURTH VOLUME of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose! So, to recap once again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID!! RWBY is owned by RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is owned by Toei. So, now sit back, enjoy and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!
My POV:
Inside my mother's own domain, on her castle, among in its many rooms, I was leaning on the wall of the room until I slumped down and placed my hand on my face out of aggravation.
Me: Why? Just what do these nightmares mean?! I'm getting sick of it. Why did my dreams always tell me something?! Why are they so... SO SIMILAR?!?!
I frustratingly wondered to myself. Although after settling in with my mother, much to her surprise when I suddenly appeared right in front of her home's doorway, the nightmares decreased moderately. The door to my room suddenly creaks open, I turned my head towards it to see my mother stepping inside my room and closes the door behind her. She turns to me with a weary look.
Isolde: I'm afraid, you have face these nightmares alone. Nightmares as heavy as yours only occur when you have something to fear greatly. What makes you think that this "combined being" in your dreams is a great fear of yours?
It's the one thing you ever wondered in my head ever since. What do I actually fear? For years I've faced dangerous Grimms, and done nearly-impossible feats. There was nothing I knew that I was afraid off to face. Having nightmares about that being made my situation even more confusing than normal. What do I fear about it?
Me: I don't.... I don't know, mother.
My mother sighed out albeit in disappointment.
Isolde: I'll leave you alone for now, while I let you think about this and decide which course is better to take to face it.
With that she leaves the room, closing the door after her, leaving me to retire in my room in contemplation.
---MEANWHILE---
---TIMESKIP---
3rd Person's POV:
The broken moon shines brightly to the sound of Weiss singing. She stands alone on a large, empty stage, singing a wordless aria, her arms outstretched. She is perfectly positioned below the center of the painted emblem of Atlas that dominates the stage.
"I'm not your pawn, not another thing you own.
I was not born guilty of your crimes.
The riches and your influence can't hold me anymore.
I won't be possessed,
burdened by your royal test.
I will not surrender.
This life is mine."
Weiss concludes her song and bows while the audience applauds. She looks up to the balcony above stage left where her father and brother are watching. Jacques remains seated, not applauding, while Whitley is standing giving a slower paced, sarcastic clap.
Weiss looks back at the audience, all clapping still in their seats. She turns and walks backstage, her feigned smile replaced with a frown.
After the concert ended, the Schnee Family held a party at their mansion. Weiss is behind her father, looking at the floor with her hands held primly behind her back. Whitley stands similar further behind their father, only his gaze is directly on him.
Jacques: That's precisely my point. We offer Faunus the exact same wages given to the rest of our mining staff. Their argument's completely invalid right out of the gate.
Businessman: Well, I think the bigger issue here is our society as a whole.
Jacques: Why, you mean Atlas?
As they converse, Weiss looks over to the largest painting on the end of the ballroom, depicting Beacon Academy with its Cross Continental Transmit tower still standing. She starts to step away, only to be grabbed by the wrist by her father halts, startled.
Jacques: Where are you going?
Weiss: I'm... just a little thirsty.
Jacques: Sweetheart, we have people for that.
He lets go of Weiss and begins to raise his arm to call over a waiter. Weiss stops him by grabbing his forearm, prompting a sideways glance from Whitley.
Weiss: What? No, I can get it. I'll be right back, I promise.
The two lock gazes as the conversation next to them continues.
Businesswoman: Look, no one asked them to move here.
Businessman: But companies like FAWC promised jobs.
Jacques decides to let Weiss go and turns back to his companions.
Jacques: I'm sorry, I tuned out for a second, but sounds like I'm the good guy again?
Jacques and the businesswoman share a laugh, while a businessman discreetly rolled her eyes, neither did theyknow and Weiss know that someone with a steamgun at the corner of the room in the mansion.
Weiss' POV:
I moved across the room to look at the painting of Beacon Academy. While I was examining the painting of Beacon Academy, a young man with dark indigo hair walks up and attempts to flirt with me.
(A/N: That's the painting.)
???: It's beautiful. You two match.
Me: (sighs) Yes, it's a lovely painting.
???: So,... that was my attempt at breaking the ice... How am I doing so far?
Me: You are leaving a lot to be desired.
???: Well, I've always appreciated honesty.
He says this as he reaches his hand out for a handshake.
???: Henry... Marigold.
I then looked at Henry for a few seconds, then responds to introduce myself.
Me: Weiss Schnee.
I then accepts the handshake from Henry.
Henry: I know. I saw your performance... obviously.
Henry then adjusts his hair to try and find the right words to express my perfermance.
Henry: You were wonderful! And I promise I'm not just saying that cause you're pretty. (Looks at painting) Honesty, remember? (Looks at Weiss) So,... you thinking about buying it??
Me: (sighs) No... I don't think so.
Henry: Yeah... kind of pricey for a painting.
Me: (looks at Henry with an irritating look) It's to raise money.
Henry: Oh really? (Looks at Weiss cockily) For what?
Me: (getting more annoyed) For what?!?!
Henry: I'll admit, I only come to these things for the food and drinks. And the extrodinary company, of course.
He says as he grabs a drink from a butler passing by us carrying a tray of drinks. Then, he drinks his drink as I looks at him sternly. The man at the same corner smirks as he knew something is going to happen soon.
Henry: So what, is it another Mantle fundraiser or something?
Me: Get out.
Henry: (still in his cocky mood) What?
Me: Get out, or I will have security escort you out.
Henry: But I haven't done anythi-
I couldn't take it anymore that I yelled at Henry to get out, nearly causing a scene to take place.
Me: LEAVE!!
Henry: Whatever.
I then watched the boy walk away, and once he is gone, I turned back to the painting, crosses my arms and closes my eyes. The chatter of the party guests grows louder, but one female voice stands out among the rest.
Trophy Wife: But really, does it come as any surprise, what happened to Vale?
I opened my eyes and turns slightly, peering over my shoulder at the woman.
Trophy Wife: It was a long time coming, if you ask me.
Husband: Honey...
The Trophy Wife's Husband places his hand on her shoulder, trying to shush her, but she shakes it off, leaving him to glance around the room with a forced, nervous grin.
Trophy Wife: What? You said the same thing last night. If they're so arrogant to think they can get by without proper kingdom defense, then I say good riddance.
Me: Shut up!
Everyone looks at me in my fit as my father took notice of this.
Me: You don't have a clue! None of you do!
Trophy Wife: Excuse me?
Me: You're all just standing around talking about nothing! Worrying about your hair, your money, your stupid problems that don't mean anything!
My father quickly approached me, while Whitley looks on with a faint smile on his face.
Jacques: Weiss, that's enough.
He grabs my wrist, and I immediately began struggling to pull away.
Me: Let go of me!
Jacques: You're embarrassing the family!
Me: I said let go!
I broke free from my father's grasp with a harsh tug, but in the process, I lost my balance and collapses to the floor.
Suddenly, a glyph manifests next to me, and a Boarbatusk is summoned. I looked at it with wide eyes, my jaw dropping. Everyone looks in shock as they watched the Boarbatusk Summon charge towards the woman and the man that indiscriminated her.
(A/N: Boarbatusk Summon.)
Trophy Wife: Please, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, just leave me alone.
It leaps toward her and the man, jaws wide open, but it is shot down by General Ironwood before it can reach them.
Trophy Wife: Arrest her! what are you waiting for?! She's insane! She should be locked up!!
Ironwood: No one... is getting arrested here! And sh-
Just as General Ironwood is about to continue, his line is then interrupted by someone in red with a symbol of a cobra on his chest and on his eye-visor on his mask.
(A/N: Blood Stalk.)
???: She's the only one making sense around here, peeps. So, (points at Trophy Wife) You should be medicated and you should get your ears, and your eyes checked, dunce~!
After insulting the Trophy Wife, the mysterious red armoured rider spins around once to introduce himself.
Blood Stalk: I am Blood Stalk, and thank you for the party, Mr Schnee.
He says this as he bows and disappears in a misty fog, shocking and petrifying everyone except the general and Mr Jacques Schnee.
---MEANWHILE---
My POV:
Isolde was in her mirror chamber, pacing around the large octagonal mirror as she contemplates about my condition. She then found herself twiddling a small snowflake between her fingers and let it fall freely, but it landed on the mirror's surface. Mists formed around the edges and covered the mirror's surface. After a few seconds it parted, revealing a man with an insane smile and a cloak being running on a path. Isolde gasps as she recognizes the person.
Isolde: Th-That's....
She waves her hand at the mirror and it zooms out, revealing that the person was heading towards the abandoned village, where she knew my friends are located. Isolde quickly storms out of the room. I was surprised when my mother slammed the door to my room wide open.
Me: Mother? What's---
Isolde: You have to go back to your friends. Now!
Me: I-I don't understand.
Isolde: Your friends are in extreme danger, Shadow! You have to warn them before it's too late. Go. Now!
With a determined nod, I grabbed all my gear, strapped my weapon to my back, fastened my utility belt and Game Gashat stuff behind, and wore my signature coat. Finally ready, I followed my mother out of the room and sprinted my way towards the mirror chamber.
Meanwhile, as the four members of Team RNJR continue out of Oniyuri, Ren suddenly senses something. He puts out his hand to stop the other three, eyes closing as he focuses. Ren slowly reaches and draws his weapon. Ruby, Nora and Jaune immediately follow suit. Suddenly, a man soon leaps high over the wall to engage the team in combat. The man immediately takes out his weapons in a seamless motion, laughing eagerly.
Then, he charges towards Ruby but, Ren luckily intervenes, his blades clashed with the man's claw blades. Ren attempts to both kick and shoot him, but he dodges. The man, happened to find an opening, sending Ren flying away from him by his strong kick and return his attention to Ruby and charges towards once again. The man attack Ruby with ferocity as Tenka struggled to block his attacks with his dual Tri-Sector Sparrows. The man very quickly landed a fatal blow on Ruby, had it not been for her aura that saved her.
Jaune then advances with his shield as the man jumped onto his shield and stares at him. Then, Jaune stared at him back as the man instantly went closer to him as he observes the young shield-wielding huntsman as Nora had charged at him by using her hammer. Once again, the man dodged easily and used the hammer to launch himself away, crashing through the wall of a tall building.
With everyone regaining their composure, Rachel and Mitchell helped Ruby back on to her feet, making sure that she was okay before looking up at where the man had landed, ready to attack.
Jaune: We're not looking for a fight!!
The man then jumped down from where he landed and addressed them with that same maniacal grin in his face.
Crazed Man: Who I am matters not to you. Or you. Or you. Or you. Or you.
He points at Rachel, Tenka, Mitchell, Ren and Nora as he said this.
Crazed Man: Or... Well, you do interest me.
A look of fear was plastered on Jaune's face as he gasps when the man pointed towards him, causing him to laugh ominously.
Crazed Man: No, I only matter to... you.
He points to Ruby, and the rest of RNJR turn to look at her. She tilts her head in confusion.
Ruby: ...Me?
Founding her confused look amusing, the man started laughing loudly.
Crazed Man: You, you haven't the slightest clue, do you? Oh, how exciting this must be.
Ruby: What do you want?
Even though her voice was slightly distorted, she was able to stand strong.
Crazed Man: Oh! The rose has thorns! My little flower I'm here to whisk you away with me. And speaking of which, where is the boy???
Ruby's POV:
Jaune walks over and stands beside me, his shield held in front of him.
Jaune: We're not going to let you do that. You are not letting you take Shadow as well... wherever he is.
And with that, Tyrian moves fast to attack Jaune from behind.
Tenka: Jaune! Look out!
Ruby steps in to face him on his descent, but he just kicks her to the side. She regains her ground by using her scythe to steady herself. Jaune takes a swing with his sword at him, but he simply dodges and kicks him away as well. Tenka charges forward as he attempts to slash the crazed man with his dual weapon but to no avail as he kicked Tenka away, Mitchell using his wings to catch him.
He then starts to run towards Nora. From across the way, I grin and shoots Nora with lightning Dust. It passes just over Tyrian's left shoulder, and he turns as he senses it. Nora gets knocked down when the bolt makes contact, dropping her hammer in the process. Ruby had an exasperated look. The lightning dust round plus Nora equals a powerful overcharged-Nora.
Mistaking the move for an error on Ruby's part, the man gives Nora a baffled stare and laughs while Ren, Jaune and Ruby simply watch and wait. Mitchell however, kept his guard up.
Mitchell: Well, if that isn't ironic.
He senses something is up and loses his mirth. With a determined, satisfied grin, a now upright and supercharged Nora rushes the man from behind, moving over his right shoulder and coming before him just in time to hit him with her hammer. The blast from the contact forced you and the other three to cover your eyes from the backwash of dust and air, Jaune actually taking cover behind his shield.
The dust clears to reveal the man, perfectly fine in a crouch, using his now unveiled scorpion tail to block Nora's hammer. He giggles and curls his fingers at Nora.
Crazed Man: Surprise.
(A/N: Tyrian.)
He kicks Nora twice in the face before leaping backward and upward onto a roof, leaving his coat behind.
Ren: He's... a Faunus.
Me: What is this about? The White Fang? Roman Torchwick?
Crazed Man: Plastic soldiers and pawns. My heart and body belong only to our goddess.
Me: Cinder...
Crazed man: Hmph, you will wish it was her. Then yet again, only in her wildest dreams.
The man then launched from the roof straight behind me. Jaune tried to take him on but he was severely outmatched, Tenka did the same to him but was outmatched as well. Rachel tried to spear him with her spears but to no avail when he used his tail to coil around her spears and threw her in the air in which she hits Mitchell down to the ground. Ren and Nora tried to lay hits onto the man but due to his maniacal fighting skills, they are easily outmatched. Tenka, Mitchell, Rachel, Nora, Ren, and Jaune are now been defeated, while I was the onlyone continuously taking strikes after swats from the scorpion Faunus, my remaining Aura the only thing saving me.
The man delivers a right hook to my face and a left blow to my torso, causing red shimmers on my Aura on my head and chest respectively. He turns and swings his tail to knock me back into the air. I flew back several feet and he rushes forward to meet me before I land. While I'm still midair, he kicks me, causing a large red shimmer over my abdomen and hips. The crazed man approaches me on the ground and raises his stinger, his eyes turning dark purple. Nora, who is comforting a fallen Ren, Rachel and Tenka helping Mitchell up, and Jaune both look on in horror.
Laughing, the man is about to strike with his scorpion tail, when everyone heard someone burst through one of the buildings, and was surprised to see Qrow in front of me. There's a metallic noise as the man's stinger hits against Qrow's weapon and clips into the blade. The man lets out a nervous giggle of surprise while me and Qrow make eye contact and smile at each other, much to my relief.
Qrow: Hey.
---MEANWHILE---
My POV:
I am now inside the portal, about to reach Ruby and the rest. Hopefully I'm not too late.
Me: tyrian... weird name. But still.... i hope when I get there, I am not too late.
Just as I was about to reach to my destination, a bright light blocked my path and was tramsported somewhere else. Instead of the ruins, I'm now in an empty white void.
Me: Wh-where am I?? (Rubbing my eyes) what is this?
???: I guess we need to talk....
I quickly turned around due to that sudden voice that boomed inside the void. As I turned, my eyes widens as to know who spoke. It was not just one person, but four. One revealed as Amber, and the other three revealed to be silleuoette with each of their specific colour. When I looked at them in shock, it could only mean one thing.
(A/N: Four season maidens.)
Me: I see... The first Four Season Maidens, the Protectors of Remnant. What is your business here with me?
Unnamed Summer Maiden: We are here to help you.
Unnamed Spring Maiden: But take heed, we must talk about your powers.
Me: M-My powers??
Amber: Yes, Shadow. After seeing you in missions and your progress in Beacon,we decided to... give you our powers.
Me: Oh. !!!! Wait!! Give me your powers?!?!
