Lafayette pov
I arrived at the tent to see Mon Amie Hercules patching up an old pair of pants, Lauren's asleep and Alexander writing ..... Again ....
No offence to Alex but I hope his brother doesn't write as much as he does
Suddenly m/n walks into the tent hes smiling and smells a little bit like smoke although I don't question it
Y/n pov
"Alex stop fucking writing I'm trying to sleep " I grumbled and turn over to look at my brother whose candle is still flickering sending dancing shadows across the walls
"Gimme a minute " he grumbles at me
No chance
I stand up and blow out his candle before climbing back into bed
"Asshole " I heard my brother say
I smirked as I threw a pillow at him in the dark and slowly drifted of to sleep

I yawned and stretched then looked around they were all asleep it was probably just dawn which was a normal time for me to awake
I stood and wobbled towards my trunk I needed a drink
I pulled a bottle of brandy and went outside to clean up a bit

As I was fixing my hair Alexander walked out
"Hey " he said yawning slightly
I take a swig of brandy there's only a bit of left and I was only just feeling the buzz of it
"The rest up yet ?" I ask
"No.... Can I ask you something .....?" Alex asks
"Fire away " I say chucking the now empty bottle into the another tent
"Have you seen the way Lafayette looks at you ? " Alex asks
"I don't know , have you seen the way John looks at you " is what I want to say back
"What you think I'd want to be with him , whether he was a boy or girl I wouldn't want to go out with him " Lafayette says harshly coming out of the tent looking right at me as he says the words his eyes narrow and cruel
I feel my heart shatter
I look back at Alex my eyes brimming with tears
His face is twisted and cruel he spits on the ground next to me .
" Your just scum you know that don't you , bet you can't even read , god that's pathetic " Alex laughs maliciously
I feel tears pour out of my eyes

BOOM
I hear the cannons and guns go
I fire up from my bed it had all been a nightmare
But now I'm in a different nightmare , one I can't wake up from
I look around to see Mulligan and Alexander gone , John getting his boots on and Lafayette sorting his guns out , the British were upon us
I rolled out of bed at record breaking time and changed into better clothing
I grabbed my guns and swords and left with Lafayette
After a few minutes of running we come to the front of the battle field , I get right in to the fight
I'm slashing killing and slicing through redcoats like there's no tomorrow, if i don't there might not be .
As I'm slicing my way through one British redcoat I spot Lafayette surrounded by redcoats at least 9 and Mulligan riding a horse and shooting
I whistle Mulligan over and climb on his horse
I whisper in Mulligan's ear what my plan is
"You sure it will work? It's a big risk if it doesn't " Mulligan says riding over to Lafayette and the redcoats
"My entire existence is a risk " I shout as I jump of the horse taking down 2 of the redcoats planning on killing Lafayette
I take my knife out and begin to go against a redcoat to try help Lafayette
"Thanks, I didn't know if I was going to survive " Lafayette says and shoots a redcoat in the stomach
"Don't thank me yet " I try to slice a redcoat through the ribs
But he's to fast and sends the end of his bayonet through my left shoulder
I cry out in pain so loud I make the young redcoat losen his grip on it
I smile a little as I pull it out of my now bleeding shoulder
I smirk as I turn his own gun on his and shoot him straight through the head
After a few more minutes the battle is basically over I look at Lafayette who's exhausted and has his hands on his knees
I look at his leg and see blood pouring out of it
"Jesus Christ Lafayette we need to get you to the medic tent I say as I wrap my bad arm under Lafayette to help carry him back to the medic camp
I grit my teeth as pressure is placed on the wound
"I think it's you who needs the medical attention I saw that bayonet go through your shoulder " Lafayette tries to move his arm upwards so he's not leaning completely on me

After a few minutes of silence I was able to locate Mulligan, John and Alex looking worried as hell until they spot us
"Mulligan , John get Lafayette to the medical tent , Alex I need to talk to you " Mulligan and John nod taking Lafayette of me , I miss his warmth but he needs medical attention
"Y/n what do you need " Alex says eyeing up my shoulder
"Look under my bed there's a big wooden trunk under it , I want you to open the trunk on the top there's brandy and medical equipment , get the medical stuff and 2 bottles of brandy " I say to him walking to the edge of the forest
"Why the brandy? " Alex asks
"2 reasons , 1. Because its a mild antiseptic 2. It hurts like fuck so just get it " I snap the last part at him
"Fine fine " Alex runs of to get the stuff
I breathe out and lean against a tree the pain was starting to get to me

Alex runs towards me with his arms full of the things I asked for
"Thanks bro " I say and walk away with the equipment
"You need any help?" I hear Alex shout in the background
"Nah I can do it myself " I yell back at him

I sit down at the bank of the river me and Lafayette were at the other day
I line up everything Alex brought me
There was , bandages , brandy , tobacco a couple of flasks of homemade "water" , clean rags and a bottle of vodka
I should be able to do this
I breath out and take a swig of the brandy
I unbuttoned my front jacket there was a hole and blood already covering all though I doubt all of the blood is mine .
I winced when I saw how much blood was covering my undershirt
I leaned of and grabbed a rag before pouring some vodka onto it
I tried to wipe of some of the blood on the undershirt but finally realized it would be futile to keep doing, so I finally removed my undershirt , my breast were still wrapped up so you couldn't see them but the unmistakable curves gave it away that I wasn't male
Just hope no one comes by
They won't not this soon after a battle
I take a sip of brandy before taking a bit of tabacco put to chew
I begin to feel drowsy as the pain intensifies down my arm.
I blinked a little , before passing out
Lafayette pov
The nurses looked at my leg and fixed it up , apparently a bayonet had caught it and made it bleed quite badly , after they'd patched it up I was allowed to go as long as I didn't spend to much time on my legs
I'd been looking for m/n for a while when I'd gone to find Alexander to see if he knew where his brother was
"Mon amie?" I ask as I see him coming back away from the woods looking a little worried
"Hmm oh hi Lafayette , how are you " Alexander asks back not quite how you say with it
" I'm good , anyways have you seen
M/n anywhere I need to thank him for saving me back on the battle field" I say briskly
"I'm not sure where m/n is " Alexander stopped himself and looked at the forest before quickly walking of toward the tents .
That look to the forest was enough to give me an idea of where to go

I'd been wandering aimlessly around the forest for some time know when I came across the bank that me and
M/n where seated at the other day
This time it's different because there's blood on the ground
I follow the blood which leads me to a slumped over women with dark army pants
"Madame are you okay" I ask hestintaly
No response
I move close so I can see her
She's bleeding from her shoulder
