Great, I'm the only one without a freaking pillow.
"You can't run from me, Little A" Mason says
"I would watch out if I were you, you're being chased by Jayden if you didn't notice"
"And now we're both chasing you" Jayden smirks

I gulp as I see both the boys run towards me with their pillows. I run down the stairs as fast as I can and I mentally thank myself for taking my heels of.
I run past Mark, who stares at me again. I roll my eyes and run towards the backyard.
"Just give up, Little A" Mason says and I know there is a smirk on his face
"Never" I yell
"You really think you can escape and outrun us?" Jayden says and I know that he too has a smirk plastered on his face.
Not for long though.
"Watch me" I say confidently
I run around the pool and face the boys, but stop immediately as I realize how stupid this is.
"You know how stupid your plan is, huh?" Mason begins as slows his pace down
"Thank you, captain Obvious"
There is going to be a day that my eyes roll out of their caskets.
Mason approaches me from the left side of the pool and Jayden from the right side.
"What the hell are you guys doing?" I hear a third voice say

"Damn you, Connor" I groan frustrated
Now it's three against one. Ugh.
"Who said I am here to team up with them, and not with you?" he smirks
"Really?" I ask him, a smile growing on my face
I should've known it was too good to be true.
"Nah"
"F*ck you!"
"I think you have Mason for that" Connor shrugs casually and waits at the end of the pool.
A blush creeps upon my cheeks, but I decide to ignore his dirty comment. It's not like I haven't thought of it before, so...
Joking. I'm totally joking.
"Are you like a witch or something?" I ask him confused, finally getting back to reality
"Yes" he smirks
"Why a witch?" I look at Jayden, to see him trying to figure it out and it looks pretty funny, because he hasn't got a single clue
"I figured her so called masterplan out" Connor smirks
"Really Little A, jumping in the pool? You call that a masterplan? You know you're wearing a dress right?" Mason smirks
I feel my cheeks turn red once again, but try to focus on the –probably hilarious– situation I'm finding myself in right now.
"Guys, can't we talk about this?"
They look at each other and send each other looks. I wait in confusion at their weird looks.
"Guys, why am I the victim? And are y'all telepathic or something?" I whine
Suddenly Jayden runs towards me and without thinking, I let out a scream and run to the other side of the pool.
Yes.
Towards Mason.
I facepalm myself mentally and stop just in time.
Connor walks towards Mason's side and Mason starts walking towards me.
"Why are we doing this again?" I ask, chuckling nervously
Mason just smirks and gets closer to me.
"Please don't" I beg him
The only way out is through the swimming pool. Hell no, I'm not doing that. If my brother wasn't here and If I wasn't wearing a dress, okay, but that's not the case.
"The choice is yours Lex. Through the swimming pool, which probably still wouldn't work. Or you surrender." Jayden smirks
He forgot about the fact that I'm wearing a dress? Bonus points for Alex.
I smirk at them, which they return with confused looks.
Yes, I have a way out. Applause for me!
*Invisible crowd claps*

I walk a little bit back, towards some bushes.
Connor seems to put the pieces together, because he starts to scream. Can he read my mind or something?
"She's going to escape through the bushes!"
How does he always know my damn plan?
"Jesus Con, we don't need to go deaf!" Jayden hisses and rubs his ear with a painful expression on his face
I think I forgot to tell that Jake, Connor, Jayden, Tyler and Mason are all best friends. Great. Just. Freaking. Amazing. Whooo! Do you hear and see me cheering for this friendship? Yeah, me neither.
Connor runs towards the end of the path, which goes behind the bushes. Okay it's not really a path, but you can walk there, so path enough for me.
There goes my plan.
I'm more of a 'dory' person. In this kind of situations, I don't really think before I do something, I just take action. There are times where it actually helps me, but mostly, it backfires.
I run towards the 'path' in the bushes and I can see Connor run towards me.
I hear someone run behind me. Jayden.
"Where the hell did Mason go?" I whisper to myself
There is only one way out...
Through the bushes in the middle.
I immediately put my plan into action and run through the bushes.
Again, I don't really think about this kind of actions. Like I said, I'm more of a dory person, which in some cases is good, but in cases like this it's certainly not.
"AAHHHH!" I scream at the top of my lungs, when Mason pops out of nowhere and stands in front of me with a smirk dancing on his lips.
He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me in his chest. My back is against his chest as he holds me tight to it.
"Told ya we would get you" he whispers in my ear
Connor and Jayden reappear from the bushes and Jayden gives Connor a pillow.
"You traitor" I groan at Jayden
"I'm your brother Lex, It's my job to irritate you" he smiles sweetly, too sweetly
They start to hit me with the pillows and I turn around in Mason's arms.
I bury my face in his chest and he laughs.
"I can't believe you guys are teaming up on me like this"
"You'll survive" Connor smirks
I try to get out of Mason's grip, but again, I fail.
I decide to hit him with all my strength.
"OW!"
Wroooong decision.
Jayden and Connor stop have started hitting each other with the pillows, so at least I'm free of that torture.
Mason lets go of me and somehow he doesn't know how to stop laughing.
"What's so funny?" I ask him fake offended, while rubbing my hand
That freaking hurt and he didn't seem to feel anything.
Damn boy with his sixpack.
He can't get any words out, so I make amends to hit him again.
"You're only going to hurt yourself if you hit me again"
He points to his sixpack, which is apparently really hard. How am I supposed to know that? Hmpf.
I shrug and grab one of his pillows, but before I can hit him with it, he takes it away again and lifts me up.
Okay. Before I had no problem with my height, but after I met Mason and co, I have a problem with it. If I was taller they wouldn't pick me up all the time, but noooo, I just had to be 5,3.
"Mason, don't you dare. You are so going to regret doing this"
Connor and Jayden immediately stop their pillow fight and walk grinningly towards us.
"Do it Mason" Connor taps Mason on his shoulder
"JAYDEN FREAKING SMITH! YOU HAVE TO SAVE ME! YOU'RE MY DAMN BROTHER AND YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T SAVE ME!"
"Sorry baby sis, not happening. And I will survive your stupid attempts of revenge" he laughs
Yeah... My revenge plans always fail hard. But this time I have Jade on my side, I hope at least. I have a feeling she likes Jayden. Hmm, I have to ask her about that.
Sorry, back to the point.
"Mason, please. I beg you, please don't do this"
"Give me one good reason not to do it" he smirks
"You will be dead within minutes after throwing me in" I threaten him
"Are you threatening me, Little A?"
"No, it just looks like it" I roll my eyes
"OF COURSE I AM, I'M NOT STUPID MR. RUDE!" I shout
"Your threats don't scare me, Little A" he smirks
"They should!" I whine
Dammit. Stupid boy.
"What do you want?" I sigh
Before he can react, Jayden and Connor have pushed us in the swimming pool.
I glare at them from the swimming pool as soon as I get above the water again.
"Mason, I guess your team has turned their backs on you" I smirk
He looks at me, also from the swimming pool and swims closer to me.
"Ya think so, Little A?"
"I know so"
"They just helped me get in the swimming pool with you"
I look embarrassed at my dress and try to pull it down.
Yes, I fail again.
I look at Connor and Jayden and give them death glares. Jayden finally seems to realize what he has done. Damn stupid brother. Argh.
"Mason! Out of that pool now" Jayden suddenly says in a serious tone
"Jay, I can take care of myself, you know" I sigh
He glares at me and turns to Mason again.
"I'm not warning you again"
I climb out of the pool and Mason follows.
"Party pooper" I hear Mason whisper behind me
I chuckle and shake my head
"You guys are weird, you know?"
"Thanks for the reminder" Connor rolls his eyes
"Oh, I forgot to ask you something" Mason turns to me
"There's a party at a friend's house next week, do you want to come with us?" he continuous
"Us?" I ask confused
"We're coming too" Connor points at Jayden and him
"Just like Jade and Tyler" Jayden says
"I've never been to a party before" I mumble embarrassed, which earns me some shocked looks from Mason and Connor
"Then this will be your first" Mason says, smirking cockily
