Lily's Pov :

So last night was close.

Obviously I'm already appearing sneaky and suspicious to everyone.

The real reason why I take walks alone are...

I really go into the woods and just fly. I needed to stretch my wings out, or else they will be too cramped up.

I just know tonight in dinner, Drews dad will question me about what I am.

I know I need to tell Drew of what I am, but now isn't a good time. Nor, will I tell anyone.

They will think of me a liar and I have been lying the whole time. I can't have that. I don't do good with hate.

One day in my freshman year this girl purposely spilled ketchup, in the cafeteria for the whole school to see, over my new jeans. I remember running home crying and then flying afterward.

Right now I am in my closet picking out the perfect summer dress to wear for dinner.

I decided this one black and white stripped dress that went down to my mid-thighs. I had a brown, braided belt for my waist and put up red summery wedges.

I left my hair all wavy and kept my angel necklace on. I never take this thing off.

I put on make up that made it look natural. I added a brighter shade of red lipstick to touch up the look.

"Stacey! Peyton!" I yelled to the room, next of me.

They were going out to dinner, so they were getting ready.

Peyton walked in first.

She gasped to add more effect on my outfit. "You look gorgeous!" she gushed.

"Me? What about you?!" I gushed, looking over her outfit.

She had a mint, high-low strapless dress on with tan flats. Her blonde hair was curled and her make up was nude coloring.

She posed for me and we both ended up laughing.

"Now what is all the commotion?" Stacey came in putting on a pair of earings.

She was wearing a simple black flowy dress. The top of her dress was filled with straps going all type of directions. It was like a crop top with a pencil skirt.

Her hair was in a nice bun and she was rocking the smokey eye look.

"Damn!" Stacey saud, once looking at our outfits.

We laughed with her.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am!" Stacey said, intertwining her arm with one of me and Peytons.

We walked down stairs to find the boys laying on the couches.

They looked like they were in a deep, engrossed conversation.

"Ready?" I asked, getting their attention.

Their heads snapped my way and let's just say they were checking us out from top to bottom.

"I think we look good." Peyton said, whispering in my ear.

I giggle at her comment.

"We look good. Yes?" I asked, totally amused at this.

Before they could answer, Callie stormed into the room panting.

"You okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah, but you wouldn't believe how hard it is to sneak out." She said, catching her breath, fixing her dress.

She was wearing a light purple dress that went down mid-thighs. The top of her dress was all floral pattern, covering all of her chest area. She had a silver clutch bracelet that Egyptian wear on her left wrist. Her hair and make up was all natural.

Callie saw the boys staring at us and now her too.

"Come on we're going to be late!" She said, pointing to her wrist, pretending she had a clock on it.

Callie amd Jackson were coming with us, because Jacksons parents never met his mate yet either.

The boys stood uo, except Parker who was still without a mate.

Poor guy. This must suck.

Drew came up to me and kissed my forehead. "You look beautiful." He said into my ear. I blushed.

I looked over Drews appeal. He was wearing a dressy, sky blue shirt and a nice pair of jeans.

"What you staring at?" Drew said, smirking knowing the answer.

"You." I said, kissing his lips.

"Come on. We're going to be late." He said.

Drew took my hand and led me out the door.

He opened up the passenger side door for me.

I smiled at his friendly gesture and got in.

Callie and Jackson were squished in the back seat.

Drew was driving.

I started to crack my knuckles out of nervousness.

I am not going to lie, I am really nervous to meet his parents. I already know they are gonna be skeptical of me.

We shortly made it to the pack house and parked right by the entrance.

Drew took my hand and rubbed small circles around my knuckles.

"Don't worry. They'll love you." He whispered in my ear.

I smiled. This is another reason why I like Drew so much. He gets me.

We walked to the elevator, because there are 10 levels and the old Alpha and Beta live on the top floor. The pent house.

Callie didn't look nervous, but she is a hard person to read. Her past is not that pretty. Her grandfather died, who she was very close to. She fell in love with a boy sophomore year. Everybody said they would get married when they got older. Soon before the week of taking exams he disappeared. Turns out he moved to Missouri and he never told Callie. Everybody laughed at how vulnerable she was. He broke her heart. From now on she keeps many walls up.

The elevator opened in the pent house.

Drew lead me inside.

The house was gorgeous. It had a classy, modern twist to it.

"Mom? Dad?" Drew yelled throughout the house.

Soon a petite, pretty woman who has dirty blonde wearing a apron comes rushing through the door.

"Drew! Your early sweety!" she said, hugging Drew and giving him a peck on the cheek. I thought it was cute, because Drew had to bend down to hug her.

"Mom, this is Lily, my mate." He said, snaking his arm around my waist.

She looked at me and her smile widened.

"Oh Drew, she is gorgeous." She said shocked, hugging me.

I smiled and hugged her back.

"It's nice to finally meet you." I said.

"You too, dear." She said.

"Now Jackson, I see you have found your mate also." She said, looking at the other couple.

"Mrs. Johnson, this is Callie." Jackson said.

"Its nice to meet you, Mrs. Johnson." Callie said, holding her hand out with a small smile.

Mrs. Johnson didn't even accomplish Callies hand gesture instead she said, "Oh please, call me Elizabeth." before she hugged Callie.

Callie smiled warmly at her.

"Elizabeth!" yelled another woman, who I might take as Jacksons mom.

"Their here Odett!" Elizabeth shouted back.

Just then Odett shot out of the kitchen.

"Jackson!" she yelled, before hugging him.

Jackson was also larger than his mother, so he had to bend down and hug her back. He also kissed her cheek.

"Mom, this is Callie." He said smiling down on Callie.

Odett hugged Callie and broke apart to then look at her.

"I see where Jackson gets his sweetness from." Callie said, which was a good move on her.

Odett laughed sweetly at her and then smiled wide. "Oh, I love her Jackson." she said, before hugging her again.

"Food should be ready soon. Andrew can't wait to meet you." Elizabeth said to me enthusiastically.

I'm guessing Andrew is Drews dad.

I smiled at her. "Me too."

"Taylor and your dad are in the study, doing who knows what." Odett said to Drew.

I'm also guessing Taylor is Jacksons dad.

"Dinner will be ready any minute." Elizabeth said.

"Do you need any help with anything?" I asked. I've always been good with cooking.

"No dear, I just have to wait for the potatoes. " Odett said smiling really big at my friendly gesture.

I smiled back.

"Just make yourself at home. I'll call you in for supper." Elizabeth said, running back into the kitchen.

"So tell me how you guys found each other." Odett said, once we were all seated in the living room.

"Why doesn't Jackson go first." Drew said and then looking down at me. "Ours is a little..." he said, trying to find the right word. "different."

I laughed and nodded totally agreeing with him.

Odett gave us a weird look, but laughed also and turned to Callie and Jackson.

"Well, Lily was coming over to visit, but at the time she had a broken ankle, so I drove her over to Jacksons. Lily said that She was setting me up for a date. A blind date." Callie explained, before Jackson took over.

"And right at the door step." he said looking at Callie. "I saw her." he continued, smiling. "So thanks to Lily, I never would have met my mate." He finished, looking at me.

"Awe!" I said, walking over and giving Jackson a hug, and then going back.

Everybody laughed at my sudden action. I also heard some older men's laugh.

I turned my head to the hallway. There I spotted 2 men who looked to be in their late 40s.

They were Drews and Jacksons fathers.

I could tell who's father was whos.

I noticed that Drews father had hazel eyes similar to Drew.

I also noticed that Jacksons dirty hair came from his dad.

"Hello. You must be the famous Lily, my son can not stop talking of."Drews dad said, walking up to me and shaking my hand.

"It's finally nice to meet you." I said smiling.

I heard with my inhuman ears, Mr. Johnson inhale deeper into his nostrils, smelling my scent.

"You too, Lily." He said with a friendly grin.

His eyes became foggy. Drew told me once that whenever that happens they are in mind-link with another werewolf of their pack.

"Well, we shall head over to the dining room for supper." Mr. Anderson said. I spotted his eyes also foggy.

He must be in mind-link with Mr. Johnson.

They must be suspicious of me.

We walked over to the dining room. I'm nervous as ever. I just want to get this dinner over with. I keep a blank face, so they won't suspect anything, but my scent already gives it away.

The dining room is gorgeous. Mr.Johnson sat at the far end of the table with Elizabeth and Mr. Anderson by his sides. Odett sat next to Callie and then Jackson. On the other side of the table, I sat next to Elizabeth and Drew by my side.

"This looks really good." Callie said with wide eyes. We all laughed at her.

"Thank you." Odett and Elizabeth said at the same time.

"So I never heard how you and Drew met?" Mr. Johnson asked.

I smiled at him.

"You know I would love to tell the story, but I think Drew can tell it way better than I can." I said nicely and faced Drew.

We were all staring at Drew to tell the story.

"While I was in the middle of patrol, I smelled her scent. She found me on top of the mountain, apparently she was hiking at the moment. And that's how we met." Drew said casually and cooly.

He wasn't going to tell them about how it went.

"But I thought, she had a cast, when she visited you the next week?" Elizabeth said confused.

"Yes, how did you break your foot? I heard you had surgery on it." Odett asked.

I smiled at them. I smirked at Jackson and Drew before answering.

"Yes I did hqve surgery on my ankle mostly. I actually broke my foot the day I met Drew." I said smiling real sweetly at Drew, who was glaring heavily at me.

"Really? How'd that happen?" Mr. Johnson asked.

"Why don't you ask Jackson, Parker, Leo and Drew. I'm sure they would like to tell you." I said nicely and ate a piece of fish.

"Jackson? Drew?" Mr. Anderson asked suspiciously.

"Well, she kinda jumped off part of the mountain." Jackson said.

"Because?" Odett asked.

"We were trying to catch her." Drew finished.

"Why?" Mr. Johnson demanded. "And I want the full story." he added.

"You know when you finally have your mate you never want them to leave your side? Well, that couldn't happen so we took her to our house." Drew said.

"Now what condition was I in?" I asked.

"Unconscious." Drew finished.

"DREWEN JOHNSON!" Elizabeth yelled, making me drop my fork.

"Hey! Stacey already beat you to it and I made up for it." Drew said quickly.

"Fine. What did you do to make up for it?" Elizabeth asked.

"He was very romantic." I gushed. "He took me to this clearing and had a nice picnic." I said.

"He got that from me." Mr. Johnson piped in with a teasing grin.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes at him.

"So Lily, I have never seen you before. What pack are you from?" Mr. Johnson asked, changing the subject.

"I'm not from a pack. I just moved here from Maine." I said.

Mr. Johnson looked confused.

"She's human, Dad." Drew said with a da tone.

"Your human?" Mr. Johnson or should I say Andrew asked, bewildered and also asked like a test to see if I would lie.

"Yes." I said normally.

Andrew and Taylor looked to be dwelling on this new information.

"Has Drew ever told you about your scent?" Taylor, Mr. Anderson asked.

"Yes. He said it tasted like honey. Dr. Marcus told me I have a very strong scent unlike humans." I said casually.

"Hmm." Was all Andrew said.

I think Andrew suspects me, like every other werewolf I've met.
