Caroline pov
My life blew up in my face as soon as I became what I am a vampire. I didn't want to kill that person but I was so hungry and as soon as I did my werewolf side was activated and we learnt Nik is from a different father. Esther has been unfaithful to Michael and he killed niks true father. Esther created a spell that kept mine and niks werewolf side dorment. I was so angry with the world. It's my birthday today I would of been 18 but now I'm a vampire and Im not in the birthday mood. We have been running from Michael ever since he killed Esther and we were running through the woods and fields and then we took a break.
I was near a lake watching birds run freely if only my life was like that.
" hey " Nik came and sat down near me by the lake
" Hi " I was Washing my hands I'm so filthy we've been running for days
" Happy birthday " he smiled which made me smile just the thought he remembered
" You remembered " I looked at him and layed on his knees sometimes we did this while I'll just listen to him talk or he'll listen to me talk
" Of course I did love " he smiled " yet you seem down "
" That's because the point was when you get to seventeen you turn eighteen then nineteen and now all of that is ruined what's the point of celebrating a birthday when you can't age at all " I asked him
" Your free though " he told me
" This isn't what free feels like " i told him
" Then what do you feel? " He asked
" Souless like I'm stuck " I told him
" Happy birthday " he smiled he gave me a necklace that he made himself carved it out of wood.
It was wrapped in this red cloth which I took it out and smiled.
" I love it " I smiled
" I'm glad you do love " he smirked " it took me along time to make it.
" I do " I put it on and kisses me on the forehead and he let me rest in his arms for a while.
A couple of hours later:
Niks pov
We were walking through the forest an everybody was upfront but then Rebekah came down to me
" Are you going to tell her " she asked me
" Who? What are you talking about " I smiled
" Are you going to tell Caroline your in love with her " she asked
" What? No why would you even ask that? " I asked her
" Please I've wanted to you to get with her since I first met her since you would train together everyday. You taught her how to draw since her parents never could. You laughed everyday together. " she told me
" She's my best friend I mean sure we play flirty sometimes but it's for fun " I told her
" Fine but you have to admit it would be hell of a love story. " She laughed and then went in front.
We were feeding on a family of adults I hate this part feeding I think everyone does here except for kol. I was looking at the dead bodies that I cause Caroline knew it was upsetting me as she was sad with her choice of meal the fact we have to drink blood
Caroline pov
" Such pretty clothing " Rebekah muttered
" Rebekah we've been through this " Elijah came out of the bushes
" No you've talked about none of us had a matter in it. They gave clothing and other fineries they must if been going somewhere. Poster them pretend to be them it won't last forever but we'd be fed, bathed. " Rebekah told all of us
" I agree with Rebekah " I went near Rebekah and she smiled
We heard someone in the carriage under clothes. A cute boy came out of it. He was about to run but then Rebekah sped to him.
" Well your a handsome one aren't you " Rebekah smiled
" Looks like desert to me " kol went up to him
" Wait wait I can help you I am the personal servant to the count of demotel of the very place you just mentioned I was supposed to guide these people to their for a lengthy stay. I know their customs. If you want to oppose of the family you have slaughtered here you will need help to carry out the plan. " He told us.
" Please can we keep him " I asked all of them
" Let's put it to a vote " Elijah said and we all agreed that we thought it was fair.
" Who thinks we should keep him " I asked
Me, Rebekah and Finn put their hanfs up
" Who thinks we should gut him " kol asked
Elijah and kol put their hands up the only person who hadn't voted was Nik
