Three year old (Y/N) searched around in the darkness of her shared room. You eyed the blackness around you, hoping to find what you were wanting. Of course, you wouldn't be able to. So instead of just sitting there, you tried making your request known.
"Kook!" you called out. "Kook!"
Nine year old Jungkook rolled over in bed. He heard the small voice calling out for him. He perked up and stumbled out of his bed to the door where he could switch the light on. He looked over and noticed you standing in your crib, reaching for him. "(Y/N/N), what's wrong?" He walked over to you and took your hand.
You pointed to his bed. "Seep wif Kook!"
"You want to sleep with me?" he asked, trying to translate what you said.
You nodded in response.
"Did you have a bad dream?" he questioned, picked you up out of the white crib.
"Uh-huh," you answered, happy once you got into your brother's arms.
"Alrighty, sis," Jungkook cooed. "You can sleep with me and then we can have really good dreams with each other!"
But in reality, you didn't have a bad dream. You had just woken up with the wanting to be cuddled by your youngest sibling. So you went the excuse you were given just so you could be warm in your brother's embrace.

Me: *mom mode activated; feeding all my readers and making sure they're warm and happy; passing out freshly baked cookies and blankets; apron on and messy bun; giving out cuddles; turned on a Disney movie; coloring with my younger children; reading fluffy fan fictions* Being a great mother who wants to make sure her babies know they are appreciated and loved, duh. What else would I be doing?
