--------NARRATOR'S POV-------
Murr and Barbara rushed to the hospital to see Sal. They entered his room.
"Is he ok?" asked Murr
"Yea he just broke his hand." said Joe
"Ah shit Danielle! I was supposed to go there at 5! Now what?" said Sal
"Just tell her you broke your hand and that you will come over tomorrow." said Murr
"What even happened?" asked Q looking at Barbara
"I will explain everything as soon as we get home." said Barbara
"Why can't you tell us now?" asked Murr
"Because she's afraid that.." Sal stopped talking
"Afraid that what?" asked Murr
"Nothing you'll find out later, when can I go home?" said Sal
"Right now." said the nurse walking in
"Great lets go."
"Just fill this out and then you may leave."
Joe filled it out and we got into the car and left. Everyone was silent until we got home.
----------MURR'S POV------
I was so afraid that Sal might've hit Barbara. She has a black eye now and her mouth was bleeding.
"Alright everyone sit." said Joe. We all did what he said.
"Barbara now tell us what happened."
"Okay. Well after we got back from the appointment to see if I'm pregnant. The nurse told me something..."
"Did you lose the baby?" I asked concerned.
"More like never had it." whispered Sal
"What?" asked Q
"Well.. I know you are going to hate me right now but... I..I lied. I'm not pregnant, I took the pregnancy test and it was negative, we went to the doctor and she told me I wasn't pregnant and I lied to you James. All of you. I'm not pregnant and I'm sorry but I just didn't want to lose you guys because now you can easily leave me Murr and I love you."
I was speechless
"You lied. I can't believe this." I said disappointed that I wasn't going to be a father.
"But how did Sal break his hand and you get that black eye." asked Brian
"Well after we came back, my friend called and I told her the actual truth and Sal overheard and he punched me."
"You punched her!?" said Joe
"Yea I was pissed that she lied to us."
"You asshole! That's abuse! You don't punch a fucking girl no matter what! Look you broke your hand now and she has a black eye." I said angrily
"So? She lied to you! Everyone! You aren't going to be a Dad! She used you!" said Sal, the words hit me hard.
"Guys calm down. It's fine ok." said Joe
"No it's not. I think I should go back to my parents house." said Barbara
"Yeah honestly that would be better." I said. She went to her room
"Well this was shocking." said Q
"Yeah. I'm going to go lay down. Too much for today ugh." I went upstairs and layed down.
------------SAL'S POV---------
My hand hurt but I was glad Barbara couldn't hurt us anymore.
"Ah shit I need to call Dani." I got out my phone and dialed her number.
"Hello?" she answered
"Hi. Sorry about not coming but I broke my hand." I said
"Sure you did Sal. If you didn't want to see me, you could've just said so instead of making up lies!"
"I'm not kidding. I punched Barbara because she lied to us, she's not even fucking pregnant!"
"You hit a girl?"
"Yes but she deserved it."
"Sal! You can't do that!"
"I'm sorry, but I'll see you tomorrow? Around 2?"
"Yea that's fine I guess. See ya bye."
"Bye."
I hung up and layed down on the couch.
"Sal? Q and I are gonna go to the mall but we'll we back very soon. Don't do anything stupid ok." said Joe
"Yeah yeah."
---------DANIELLE'S POV------
I couldn't believe Sal got himself into trouble. I looked at the table which I set up with food and candles and a nice table cloth. I did this for him because I loved him and now he canceled. I'm so upset. I actually cleaned up the place and now what am I supposed to do with the food? I'm not even hungry. I grabbed the plates and moved the food into a container and stored it in the fridge. It won't hurt if we eat it tomorrow. I was tired of this. I layed down and took a nap.
---------NARRATOR'S POV--------
It was the next day and Barbara was already packed. Sal was waking up and Murr was in the kitchen. It was awkward now between them. Joe and Q returned yesterday but Q was drunk, turns out he saw Emily there and he kissed her. He was still sleeping and so was Joe.
"Well I guess I should go." said Barbara
"That would be a good idea." said Sal
"Stop it. Don't go yet." said Murr
"Why not?"
"Wait till Joe and Brian are up so you can say goodbye to everyone."
"Ugh." said Sal, Barbara glanced at him.
"When will they be awake?" she asked
"I don't know, Q came home drunk so it could be awhile." said Murr
"I doubt you guys want me to stay here any longer."
Sal made a noise that probably meant that he didn't want her to stay.
"Okay listen. I'm pissed off that you lied and got us all happy for nothing but that doesn't mean that I hate you." said Murr
"Doesn't mean he likes you either." said Sal
"Sal just shush."
"You don't hate me?" asked Barbara
"Of course not, I'll get over it. But that was very low of you."
"Sorry."
"Anyway, I think you are sweet and nice, people make mistakes all the time so I'm not going to break up with you. I think we do need to live in separate places though, it would be best for all of us." said Murr
"Gosh, you are so kind James! I love you so much, and Sal I really hope you could forgive me." said Barbara
"You are even more madder than I am." said Murr
"I'm sorry but I don't want to see Murr get hurt by anyone else besides Joe, Q, and I. We joke around anyway." said Sal
"Hey! That's mean." said Murr
"Sorry buddy, but I guess I made a big deal out of it. Sorry I punched you. I can't believe I hit a girl anyway." said Sal getting up and giving Barbara a hug
"It's alright. I deserved it anyway and sorry that my nose broke your hand."
"I deserved that too. Glad we're friends, we all are going to miss you."
"Same."
"Yay! So we are all okay now. When is Brian and Joe going to get down here!" said Murr. Right when he said it they walked into the kitchen.
"I heard my name, what's going on?" asked Joe
"I wanted to say goodbye to you all before I left." said Barbara
"Aw don't go." said Q
"How are you feeling bud?" asked Sal
"A bit hungover." said Q
"Well it's 11 and I'm gonna go guys. Murr you can drive me right?" asked Barbara
"Yea no problem."
"Great well thank you guys for everything. You are so nice and I hope we stay in touch." said Barbara giving them all a hug.
"We will miss you." said Joe
"Bye Barbie!!" said Brian
"See ya soon." said Sal.
Barbara and James left and put her suitcase in the car.
"I'm gonna miss you guys." said Barbara
"We are going to miss you too. Atleast since we are dating we are gonna hang out a lot, and you can still comeover." said Murr
"Yeah."
"Do ur folks know you are going home?"
"Yea. I called them last night."
"Alright well here we are" said Murr pulling into the driveway.
"Thanks. Ugh my parents aren't even home."
"Aw well see ya love you."
"I love you too." She kissed him on the lips and left. Murr was still staring at her as she got her suitcase and walked to her house. He got out of his car.
"Wait! Barbara!" said Murr as he ran to her. She stopped. He put his arms around her waist and kissed her hard. She put her hands around his neck and kissed back.
"Aw why did you do that?" asked Barbara
"I just needed to taste your lips again. Is that cherry?" pointing out her lip balm on her lips
"No actually it's orange, wow you can't tell your fruits apart can you?" she punched him jokingly.
"Well I'll see ya later bye James." she said and she walked inside her house.
"Bye." Murr drove back home. Back at the house, Sal is getting ready to go to Danielle's at 2.
-----------SAL'S POV------------
Murr came back all happy.
"Why are you so happy? You just drove your girlfriend who made you mad home, where she isn't living with you."
I said
"Yea but we kissed twice."
"Woah nice man."
I went upstairs and put on basically a suit but it was also very casual. I geled up my hair and didn't eat anything so I could save up my appetite. It was 12 and I was starving I only had cereal this morning. It turned 2 very quickly and I was already outside Danielle's apartment. She beeped me in. I went up the stairs and knocked on her door.
"Well hey there." she said
"Hey babe." I kissed her
"Aw you look nice." She said while closing the door
"Thanks and so do you." She was wearing a mini black dress with a jean jacket on top and black flats
"Thank you. Looks like we both dressed up for no reason haha it's just dinner at 2..." she said
"Well we can always go for a walk later if you want." I said
"Sure that sounds nice."
"The food and everything is set up in my dining room. Oh you've never been here. Go check it out!"
"Hah alright." I looked around, it was small but cozy. She had a small kitchen but it's working. One small bathroom, a dining room. A living room with super comfy couches and a tv. Her room was messy yet cozy and her bed was a dark purple color. It was very nice.
"So?"
"It's lovely, I like it." I said
"Thanks. Well sit down. I made a few things. Salad, pasta, steak, and of course there is wine." She sat down
"You made all this?" I asked
"Yup all for you. Oh and I made it yesterday because I thought you were coming then but you didn't so I just put it in the fridge."
"Oh that's fine. I'm starving so I don't care."
"Good and oh god, you weren't kidding about that broken hand were you." She said
"Nope."
"I'm sorry but you shouldn't have punched her."
"It's fine now, we actually forgave eachother and are now friends. It was wrong I did that I know."
"It's ok well let's enjoy our company for now hahaha." She giggled. Man I missed that giggle. We ate and had some wine. We decided to go on that walk.
"Won't you be uncomfortable wearing that suit on a walk at 3pm?" She asked
"Whatever atleast I'm with you." We walked around a bit then it started to rain hard. We ran home soaking wet.
"Oh gosh, I'm gonna change, you too. I don't want you to get sick." She said. I took off my clothes and wrapped myself in a blanket. She came back in with her hair in a bun, sweatpants and a large sweatshirt.
"I put our clothes in the dryer. Yes I have a dryer and washer."
"Wow fancy. Thanks." I said
"Yeah so. You are naked under there aren't you?"
"Yea..."
"Well ya know we could...you know." She pushed me on the bed.
"Oh we could?"
"Yup." She took off her clothes and I took of my blanket, we started making out and did other stuff. It turned out that I spent the night there too. I missed Danielle so much.
