------BARBARA'S POV-------
When I got home I told Sal right away that Danielle wanted to keep the baby. I told him everything she said, he was so relieved.
"Thank you so much!" He hugged me
"Of course." I said
"So I heard you got the job? Congrats!" said Murr kissing me
"Yeah haha. I also met 4 sweet girls that are also belly dancers."
"Really? Are they hot?" asked Q
"Well Veronica is pretty cute."
"No no! No Veronica's! That's one of my ex's who claimed Charlie was mine remember."
"Right sorry." I laughed
"Guys.. So Bessy and I have been dating for a couple of weeks now and I need tips. How can I kiss her? I haven't kissed her yet!" said Joe
"You haven't?" asked Murr
"No..."
"Well maybe you should go on a date tonight? What do you both like to do?" asked Sal
"She really likes being part of charities for dogs."
"Hmm. Go to the dog park? You can spend time with a bunch of dogs and maybe even go get a dog of your own." said Barbara
"Not bad, thanks I'll go tell her."
I got a text from Sabrina asking if I wanted to hang out today at her apartment, she sent the address. I said sure.
"Who are you texting?" asked Murr
"This girl from Rocky point, we are gonna hang out today." I said
"Oh ok."
-------BARBARA'S POV------
I went upstairs to get ready. I took a shower and thenI put on my flower shorts and black shirt. I threw my hair in a bun and put on some makeup. I grabbed my purse and went back downstairs.
"Alright I'm leaving." I said
"Okay have fun." said Murr coming over to me
"Thanks." I hugged him and then he kissed me.
"Love you."
"Love you too."
I left.
-------JOE'S POV-----
I also went upstairs to get ready, I put on some jeans and t shirt. I texted Bessy the details, she would prepare a picnic basket because we were actually going to have a picnic there. I put on some cologne and went downstairs.
"I'm gonna go now too guys, see ya." I left as they were saying bye.
I arrived at Bessy's, she answered her door. She was wearing a flower dress and her hair was curled beautifully. I grabbed the picnic basket and blanket and put it in my car. She sat in the front seat.
"You look beautiful." I said
"Thanks." She smiled.
We arrived at the dog park and set up the stuff.
"These dogs are so adorable. I wish I could get one but I don't have enough money or time." She said sadly
"Same, maybe we can get one together?" I said
"That would be cool."
We grabbed sandwiches out of the basket and started eating.
-------BARBARA'S POV-----
I arrived at Sabrina's and she beeped me in.
"Hey." I said
"Hi come in." She said
"I like your place."
"Thanks, I got some wine on the table, go sit." She said
"Thanks but why wine?"
"It's just fun to drink during the day."
"Uhm ok." I sat on the couch.
"So I hope you are liking the belly dancing."
"Oh yea I love it, it's really fun."
"Good, maybe we can practice together?"
"I'd like that." I smiled
"Good. Honestly I feel like we have a connection."
"Oh yeah, you are really nice." I said
"Yeah but I have like strong feelings. You are so nice and sweet and funny and so cool."
"Haha thanks." I laughed. She sat closer to me.
"But I like you more than that."
"Uhhh..."
"Way more..." She leaned forward and kissed me.
"Woah! What was that!" I got up
"A kiss stupid."
"No not that! I'm not lesbian." I said
"You're not?" She sounded confused
"Of course not! I have a boyfriend."
"Oh sorry... I feel embarrassed."
"It's fine, I have to go."
"Ok."
I left quickly, was she trying to get me drunk so I would do it with her? Ugh I can't believe this. I quickly drove home and walked in.
"Hey what happened? You seem mad. Why are you home so soon?" asked Q
"I can't talk about it right now." I went upstairs
------JOE'S POV------
Dogs were everywhere, they were running up to us and even stealing our food. It wasn't very romantic. This date was so bad.
"We should go." I said
"Yeah let's get that puppy."
We went to the nearest animal shelter, we picked out the cutest dog, it was a female bichon frise.
"What shall we name it?" asked Bessy
"Cannoli." I said
"You do love food. Sure it suits her." She laughed
"So who is she going to stay with tonight?" I asked
"Can she stay with me? I want to get to know her." said Bessy
"Sure."
We took a small walk to the lake. It was getting windy. The sun faded away and it got dark but enough there was light to see where we were going.
"Sorry this wasn't like we planned." I said
"Honestly I don't mind, as long as I'm with you."
That was the moment where I just took control. I grabbed her waist and kissed her. After realizing what happened she grabbed my face and kissed me back.
"We should get home." she said
I drove her and Cannoli home and then went home myself. My first kiss with Bessy! This was so awesome! I got home and told the guys the news.
"I kissed Bessy!" I said as soon as I walked in
"Congrats man." said Sal
"Thanks, Also we got a dog named Cannoli it's staying with Bessy right now but yea bye."
"What!?" said Murr as I ran upstairs.
-----MURR'S POV-----
"Joe got a dog? Really?" I said
"He doesn't realize that we are busy, we can't have a dog around." said Sal
"You should be happy it's not a cat, even though I wish it was." said Q
"Let's talk about this in the morning." I said
